Just a teensy weensy little question about periods... *slightly nervous giggle*

I can't believe I'm writing this post as a second timer, the shame!

Last time I expressed exclusively I only got just enough milk and my periods returned straight away... this time I'm doing the same but getting enough to feed 3/4 babies! I thought my periods would come back when I stopped doing an overnight pump, and everyone I know tells me that they only didn't get periods whilst their baby was having night feeds...

The slight worry is that I had a really light on and offy period - I'm quite sure it wasn't lochia as that turned lovely and brown (yuck!) and disappeared after two weeks, two weeks later I had a few days of bright red blood... and then nothing since and we were sort of naughty one time... (she's only 12 weeks old though..)

I hope MTS doesn't read this cos she'll laugh, I hope DH doesn't read this cos he'll laugh and then he'll scold me!!

I don't want to over-react and tests cost too much...

Why are you expressing this much?

fastasleep · 06/01/2006 21:34

Don't you bloody laugh cos if I am I swear I'm going to lose my mind!

Because it comes out of me that's why!!!

Eh?

Could be weeks until your periods return. You need to test - or wait until you are showing of course .

fastasleep · 06/01/2006 21:36

I don't express that often, I do the minimum amount that the feeding specialist lady advised, it just pours out like Niagra Falls...

sorry if I don't make much sense today I have a migraine and really should leave the computer alone!

Aww poo but the lady at Superdrug will look at me funny again, she already remembers me as 'that woman' from when I kept going in and buying about 300 tests a month whilst TTC...
