Just a teensy weensy little question about periods... *slightly nervous giggle*

I can't believe I'm writing this post as a second timer, the shame!

Last time I expressed exclusively I only got just enough milk and my periods returned straight away... this time I'm doing the same but getting enough to feed 3/4 babies! I thought my periods would come back when I stopped doing an overnight pump, and everyone I know tells me that they only didn't get periods whilst their baby was having night feeds...

The slight worry is that I had a really light on and offy period - I'm quite sure it wasn't lochia as that turned lovely and brown (yuck!) and disappeared after two weeks, two weeks later I had a few days of bright red blood... and then nothing since and we were sort of naughty one time... (she's only 12 weeks old though..)

I hope MTS doesn't read this cos she'll laugh, I hope DH doesn't read this cos he'll laugh and then he'll scold me!!

I don't want to over-react and tests cost too much...

fastasleep · 09/01/2006 19:01

Sorry about that he only got home five minutes ago! Men!!

Well I can relax now lol... yaaaay! I never realised how scary it was when the second blue line flushed up as the test got wet and then faded again....phew!! I hope it wasn't just too early to tell (lol!)

If the wise women of mumsnet would rather have me working on a sex line from home and expressing exclusively for the next 2 years due to my poorness and crap boobs then I'll go get knocked up now blows raspberry 10 months apart would have been horrendous! And mine always come a month early!

PHEW - No ten month age gap - that is a relief!! I think that you should be more careful in future, young lady!!

fastasleep · 10/01/2006 09:48

He just got me one test, I think I'm fine, feeling sick and off my food and lightheaded but I think expressing enough for an army and being just over a tummy bug is doing that... DH still feels a bit iffy too...

He's having a vesectomy!!! I don't know if he was joking about booking it for next week but I know he wasn't joking about having one pmsl... we're going to adopt more kids when we're in a better financial position

OP posts:
CaptainDippy · 10/01/2006 10:48

Don't you want more children of your own!!? Is he just saying that cos of the scare that he has just had or is he being serious!!? - you must find out!! Madness!

fastasleep · 10/01/2006 13:09

Adopted children would be our own I totally agree! Not for a good 15 years though lol
