Thank you very much for your e-mail although I apologise you have not
received a response previously.

We did not receive the initial e-mails you sent and since receipt of
your e-mail of the 16th November, have been looking in to this matter.

We were very concerned to receive your comments and have contacted the
Area and Regional Managers for the North Shields store. Instruction has
been given to remove this milk from the shop floor immediately and an
internal investigation is taking place to ensure procedure is being
followed and this never happens again.

Whilst this is the only example of such practice taking place, we are
taking the opportunity to contact all of our stores to confirm correct
procedure for handling milk formula sales.

I'm sorry that you were so disappointed on this occasion but thank you
very much for bringing this matter to our attention.

Kind Regards

good result

Miaou · 18/11/2005 19:28

Sounds good, popsycal! Are you happy with the response?

misdee · 18/11/2005 19:28

excellant.

foundintranslation · 18/11/2005 19:28

nqc and pruni - thanks for the info. Won't bother getting the WtE baby books, then. The pg one was good for me because I was pretty paranoid during my pg! But routines and schedules have very little to do with my ideal parenting style . Funnily enough, pruni, a student lent me the P Leach book recently - haven't got round to reading it yet though.
popsycal - spill the beans!

popsycal · 18/11/2005 19:29

I am happy yes.
I won't be returning the mothercare though after such a long faff!

I have never got hot under the collar about this before but their lack of response has made me evem more so in future"

Excellent.
Hopefully they will now ensure that everyone understands why the code is in place.

foundintranslation · 18/11/2005 19:30

sorry, x posts. Result!

popsycal · 18/11/2005 19:34

I feel all chuffed now!

Goes to show that instead of just complaining to friendsand family,we need to speak out eh?

95% of the time that I do so (which admittedly happens fairly often) I am pleased with the outcome.

My two unresolved cases (yet) this year are bloody Dibor who owe me about £95 (apparently they've gone bankrupt although there is still a Dobor up and running) and Turkish Air buggering up my E3 in September.

Grrrrrrrrr

suedonim · 18/11/2005 20:51

Good for you, Popsycal! It pays to complain.
