I don't think it negates as such, as he still may have been racist in the past, but people can grow and learn.
The Nazi uniform for example, was 16 years ago.
I know I've learnt and grown over the last 16 years, and Harry can have done too.

Quaagars I get that, but shouldn't we then excuse every racist, because we can all "grow and learn?". As one of the most privileged males in the UK who has had worldwide exposure to people of all colours and creeds if he wasn't aware of his white privilege then I don't see why we should expect anyone else to. It wasn't just the Nazi issue, what about him referring to his army colleague as a p*ki?
I don't intend to derail the thread but I'm really shocked that this hasn't been spoken about on this board. It has been mentioned frequently how a woman's proximity to a Black man does not obsolve her of racism, but it doesn't even seem to be an issue for Harry and I'm just wondering why.

I thought Oprah was great, Meghan was honest and upfront about what she’d experienced and how they were as a couple obviously hanging on by a knife edge while trying to stay ‘in the family’- I don’t blame them for bailing after everything that’s come out.
