I'll start by stating I couldn't give two shits about two people I don't know.

However, I am finding so much humour in the 'non racist' vitriol from people that don't know them, and who seemingly don't care, yet can't get them out of their mouths!

I can't wait for this Oprah interview (that I might not even bother to watch) because I'll find the obsessive thread after thread on this absolutely hilarious.

To start us who have had a lifetime of this shit off, I thought I'd add to the frothing with this gem!

The thing that really gets me is that when racism is covert you have a hard time proving it. When it’s blatant and overt the speed and willingness with which people explain it away is breathtaking.

I mean, are people so naive to think that within the most elite institution that has for centuries been the head of a hierarchy that has placed black people at the bottom, that there isn’t even one old racist fart? I mean, given their upbringing it would surprising if there weren’t any smug feelings of white supremacy floating around in the RF.

Exactly. But if they are crashing snobs capable of thinking themselves better based on class, they are more than capable of thinking themselves better based on race to the point that they lament the possible diluting of the gene pool. It’s not a huge leap.

Exactly this. They are used to people suffering in silence or divorcing from the family which they probably hoped, in time Meghan would do the same. As long as the media is focusing on one of the outside women who have married in they are happy. Takes the heat off them, especially with the Andrew crap going on.

People always say the UK is much less racist than the USA. No. It. Isn't. In the UK they will smile at you while knifing you in the back.

Agree, I’ve dealt with more instances of racism and xenophobia here in my eight years than I did my whole life growing up in the States. The main reasons I haven’t moved back are because of the gun laws, healthcare, better support for my autistic son , and not wanting to start all over again.
