Hi,

Is anyone expecting a March baby?

I've just found out I'm pg following a mc in April at 12 weeks, so I need some company

Hooray! Hello delilah!

I am thoroughly convinced I am not pg at all, now. My internet cheapie tests are still really faint, even though the digital one was convinced 2 days ago. Tell me I'm not having a cp too...how would you know?

OP posts:
delilahbelle · 22/06/2010 18:24

Hey B - you are not having a cp! With mine, I tested pregnant at 3+4 or something stupidly early, then started spotting at 4+1, full on period pains/heavy bleeding by 5+0 and negative tests by 7+0.

I am sure those internet cheapies are a bit rubbish though - maybe try with another digital in a week or so to see if the conception indicator goes up?

Do you have any symptoms yet? I am constantly hungry but don't really fancy anything, and am thirstier than usual and peeing loads. Also (TMI) a little constipated

BUnderTheBonnet · 22/06/2010 18:27

Thanks Delilah [pathetically grateful emoticon]

Was planning to try with a digital test every next week to see what happens

I have exactly the same symptoms as you. Spooky. And I'm tired, but that could be hayfever. I'm desparately waiting for my nipples to go dark like they did with DD!

OP posts:
delilahbelle · 22/06/2010 18:33

Symptom twins! Bet we'll be a bit less pleased if we both get morning sickness.

I have just borrowed "what to expect when you are expecting" from the library... bednight reading for the next few days I think,

BUnderTheBonnet · 22/06/2010 18:45

Stupidly, I would welcome a bit of morning sickness, for a couple of days anyway. After that it would get a bit tiresome...

What to expect when you're expecting = total loss of dignity, if I recall correctly!

OP posts:
delilahbelle · 22/06/2010 18:57

It will all be worth it though in the end, hopefully. I am going to phone my GP tomorrow and try to get an appointment to announce my pregnancy - although it is still a bit early I think it will make it seem more real.

sunchild77 · 22/06/2010 21:18

Hi girls, can I join you?
I got my BFP today, after stupidly wasting 3 tests over the weekend - All negative. I was sat in the garden this afternoon and though, "oh its cd27" and absolutely no sign of AF, so thought Id just try my last First response test. And the line came up in less than a minute! Faint-ish but definately there!

Am finding it hard to believe, but I have the same symptoms as you girls, really thirsty and tired and weeing all the time.....

I am gonna add myself to your stats if thats ok?

Fingers crossed for a sticky pg

Hope to get to know yous better soon

specialsmasher · 23/06/2010 04:27

Hello!

Got my bfp last night - faint, but there! I seem to be due on 27th Feb, though - have tested later than you guys, I guess.

Maybe I should go on the Feb bus? What to do? Seems obvious, but I feel akin with you guys havgin just tested positive.

Will be back...

delilahbelle · 23/06/2010 06:53

Welcome sunchild, here's for a healthy journey!

specialsmasher - stick with us always best to be first on a new thread and grab the comfiest spots

As for me, had to get up to pee twice in the night, and then nearly threw up my first glass of water this am into the back of my mouth (TMI, but I need to share )

Still had to do another test - second line appeared before the first. Guess I def am pregnant!

When/who are you telling in RL? So far only my hubby and one of my friends knows.

sunchild77 · 23/06/2010 07:37

I think I'll probably test again at the weekend. Its reassuring to see a darker line I think!

I feel fine, pretty normal just yet....(trying not to worry about it)

Ive told dh and one of my best friends, got her to look at the line...

Specialsmasher I think my DD is about the 3rd March, but will be a c/s baby most likely to come in february. So I'll be sticking round here

Exciting

delilahbelle · 23/06/2010 16:12

Oh dear - just ended up telling another person today, despite agreeing with DH to keep it a secret a while! It was my sister though, she is currently out in Afghan, and from recent emails needed something to cheer her up.

I must admit, I LOVE my symptoms, and can't wait for morning sickness and everything else to kick in. Think I will be POAS to see the lines getting darker for a while too...

BUnderTheBonnet · 23/06/2010 17:08

Hi!

I didn't POAS today, so I'm quite proud of my self restraint. Will do tomorrow though, and if the line's no darker, I will spend the rest of the day in a worried frenzy. I keep feeling lots of stitch like twinges in my stomach - anyone else?

sunchild77 · 23/06/2010 18:05

Today I feel more preggo. Deep boob pain (not so much nipples morelike right inside, not really explaining that well LOL) Still really thirsty and hungry too..

delilahbelle · 23/06/2010 18:54

Hi B, I've had a few cramps, none today though (panic panic)

I am on constant knicker check everytime I go to the bathroom - which is fairly often at the moment. I just wish I could fast-forwards to the 12 week scan.

helenmelon100 · 23/06/2010 20:56

Hello all,
I got my BFP on Sunday
Should be due Feb/March, not sure yet as I had a MMC in April and no AF since so haven't got a clue where my cycle was! I feel so nervous all the time after the last failed pregnancy. Anyone else in the same boat???? I have been sooooooo sick for the last 2 weeks which is a good sign (I wasn't really sick with last preg). Lets see...fingers crossed!

BUnderTheBonnet · 23/06/2010 21:16

Hi helen I'm in exactly the same boat, but I'm pretty sure of my dates because I was charting. I want to feel sick. How mental is that?

Thanks Sunchild77 for pointing me in the direction of this thread.

BFP today! Pleased but a little bit surprised too!

Similar situation to you Sunchild77 - think I'm due 4th March, but I've had two c/s so will have another prob end Feb 2011!

It's great to be on this board!

helenmelon100 · 23/06/2010 23:24

Hi,
BUnderTheBonnet i'm just the same. Everytime I go to the loo I worry, it's horrible. I have been throwing up all day today and, although I know it's a good sign (I was like this when preg with my now 3 year old boy) I have forgotten how awful it is! Hope all works out for you.

delilahbelle · 24/06/2010 07:01

Another one praying for sickness over here...
Woke up and my boobs were fractinally less sore, so major panic.
Just want to feel more pregnant than I do, although I still have the dry mouth/thirsty/hunger thing going on.

Will be on knicker check every day until I am convinced I am safe... so about 9 months then
