OK so i know its a few months away but who cares!

So heres to US and our BABIES!!
May our bumps grow and our tiredness reduce.
May our beans Kick and our nurseries be sorted!
May our scans be amazing and our remaining months be filled with positivity and calmness and last but not least
May we all hold our babies in our arms and be filled with unconditional love for our much wanted and treasured little miracles!

4 months to go!! sheesh its creepin up on us!!! im usually startin my christmas countdown around now!!! (jus a big kid really)

minnie1, i wouldnt really mind if the film had guns n stuff in it as long as i got treated to the popcorn an pic'n'mix!!! i might suggest to him the pics tonight actually- or jus send him there to get me sum popcorn!!! hehe

All the christmas presents to get!!! aghhh all the baby stuff to get!!!! aghhh.. AND all the food shopping to get!!! aghhhh all to do in 4 months aghhhh and i have a 2 week holiday to fit in !!! aghhh now i am starting to wonder how am i going to do this and all i want to do it sit and eat and watch the TV..

Starting a list of what i need to get (forgetting everything so a list is a good idea) starting Oct i will be buying the bits and pcs each week.. that giving me at least 2 months..

my good friend has recently had her baby an she sed to start buying early!! is that a good idea?? shes got another tho so maybe she needed to budget her spending more! (thats a battle when i jus wanna go mad an buy every little cute baby thing i see!!!
iv already put a deposit on the pram i like and the woman in the shop said she'd store it there until closer to my due date!
im not sure about storing baby stuff at home! everyone keeps sayin that its bad luck but im not sure! what do you guys think??

im seriously thinking about boycotting christmas this year!! (well jus the part where i have to buy prezzies for everyone!! the rest is fine by me!! ) it would save so much hassle-an money!! an hopefully my ankles would stay swell-free!!

I have already brought all the nursery furniture and decorated. The nursery is ready and waiitng. As for the buggy, we have brough it, it is currently being stored at my dh's nan's house.

I'm nearly 23 weeks now, As soon as I hit that vital 24 week mark I'm going to book in my maternity leave at work I CANT WAIT !!!!

Minnie1, hope things are going well with you - so many messages on your December threads that I couldn't find out if you have had a 20 week scan or not yet. Time is ticking on now, you must be over half way through.

Hi Ladies - I'm migrating to the Nov thread. Just had delivery at 36 weeks confirmed - which will be early November.

I can't believe its August and I have hardly done any Christmas shopping!!! I normally finish by about Sept. We do secret santa in our 'adult' family now so we all only have to buy for one other person and we don't know who has bought us our present - its coool.

Will be 20 wks next Thurs and will have a scan at the end of this month. Cant wait buba is kicking away and sitting on my bladder! Cant wait till it arrives and looking forward to it.

How far before is everyone finishing work, before their edd?

11 weeks for me Scully. I must be one of the first to finish (mid Oct). As soon as they told me I could leave that soon I made my mind up
I'm off for at least a full year so not too worried about time after the birth - I need it now!

I think I have 15wks left, still deciding but will be within a week of this date anyway. Not that long really, considering I have a week's holiday in there, plus the odd half day for appts .
I'm also off for a year afterwards - and with any luck relocating back to Australia after that, just in time for summer there

Hopefully I'll be finishing work on 12th Nove which is 3 weeks before my EDD which means I have 14 weeks left to go.

I'm not starting my mat leave until the 1st Dec because I want as much time off afterwards as possible. I'm using holiday from the 12th nov onwards.

I'm also hoping to take a couple of weeks after my mat leave so all in all I would get 7 months off work.

Like i said earlier I CANT WAIT

not been on as feeling a bit glum about the scan...silly i know but my friend has just been through a terrible time over her 20wk scan so am a bit nervous.
