TP tuesday woohoo!! will measure when back from grovery shopping.
nemo, am thinking of you right now! and george, oh tis right now yours I think!! EXCITING!
my little bean was kicking all evening......first time I have felt more than 2/3 movements a day it must of been about 30!! LOL, and typical! I am going to get another baby that keeps american hours and is up all night judging by when this ones active!!

dramaqueen72 · 09/08/2005 10:39

GROCERY shopping even!! duh!

ninah · 09/08/2005 10:42

I like grovery shopping
pottering around the Grove, popping in to Koh Samui

sweetheart · 09/08/2005 11:01

I'm only about 5'5" too - I'm still much much bigger God I wish I could post a piccie to see if I am as huge as I think I am!!!!

DQ, I mentioned to my mw lst week that we were hoping to get the sex confirmed for definate when I go back for my next scan - it's in October - I'll be 32 weeks by then. The mw said it's actually harder to see at this stage as everything is so much bigger and crammed in.

I'm so pleased she told me that!!!!

sweetheart · 09/08/2005 11:09

Just done TP tuesday - I've grown a whole 1/4 of a square.

Think I can now oficially say I'm 9 squares

Nemo1977 · 09/08/2005 11:32

hellooooooooooooooooooo all
wel everything went back and we are having

............................

a

stubborn baby with legs clamped together it even shifted position completely. Baby is breech but nothing to worry about. Have to go back and see consultant in nov to be kept a check on and she was having none of the wanting to be induced earlier than 15 days post edd..she just said will have to see what happens..lol

rodeo1 · 09/08/2005 11:32

Just popping over from the Nov thread to wish everone good luck with thier scans and congrats to all those who have had them!

We're boy heavy over in Nov - from the lot of us who've found out we've got 7 boys and 3 girls I think???

Nemo1977 · 09/08/2005 12:00

george hope everythign went fab for you....

george32 · 09/08/2005 12:07

Oooh, chatty today!!

Well I'm about as happy as I can be!
Everything is fine - HOORAY!
Finally I feel like I can be pleased about being p/g. Lovely sonographer who explained everything along the way & kept telling us things were fine. Very wriggly baby & it was looking very cute - can't wait to see it properly now.
We didn't want to find out the sex so still no idea, just going to wait & see.
Congratulations Nemo on your scan too. Oh isn't it a great feeling. I'm making my way through the celebration choccies as I type!
Happy, happy day!!

I'll catch up properly now.

starrynight · 09/08/2005 12:10

Congrats nemo - how annoying! Thats what ds1 (!!) was doing on his scan.

I would have fainted if they agreed to induce you that early too

We do have a boys name we quite like but haven't looked properly. Its Millen. We'll have a look and see if we like anything else if not then probably this one.

starrynight · 09/08/2005 12:11

And George!

sweetheart · 09/08/2005 12:15

Yeah - congrats Nemo and george - so, so very pleased for you both

starrynight · 09/08/2005 12:16

Yep, seriously going to stop doing TP tuesday - I've lost 1/2 a sheet. Back down to 8.5 sheets

Maybe I'll start doing TP 1st tuesday of the month instead

george32 · 09/08/2005 12:18

Scully, big congrats on your scan too.
I'm glad it's not just me waiting til Dec to find out the sex (starting to think I was a bit freaky, not wanting to know).

DQ, I'm in for Secret Stork. I'll send you my details across in a bit.

Just done my TP Tuesday meaurement & I'm still 8!! I'm going to have a chat to the baby & get it to lie like a starfish next week, legs & arms sticking right out to try to make my tummy bigger!

starrynight · 09/08/2005 12:25

When I asked the sonographer the sex he seemed very surprised "oh, you want to know?" so i'd say its probably more common to wait and see.

dramaqueen72 · 09/08/2005 12:29

woohooooooooo! lots of good scans, how lovey! so pleased for you george and nemo -scully too.
George, did it help your dh feel its more real? my dh get very 'oh wow we're having a baby' at scans! like no-one ever mentioned it before!
s/h I'm actually quite glad its harder to see at that date then. because altho I think I saw boy, I dont want to know til I've done all the pushing!
send me those emails girls and I'll secret stork you all!

george32 · 09/08/2005 12:37

DQ, I think it made it more real for both of us.
We have been so scared about something going wrong, as I guess most of us on here have been, that we've not dared to think we might be lucky enough to have a healthy baby inside.
Seeing it's little face & hands & feet was just magical.
I think we may be shopping before 30 weeks now!

starrynight · 09/08/2005 12:40

I'm already getting teary eyed about little blue sleepsuits! How exciting.

ninah · 09/08/2005 12:51

nemo you're such a tease, I scrolled all down that post in great anticipation! well done, and you too george
off to the loo now ladies cos it's TP tues!

ninah · 09/08/2005 13:04

only 8 sheetss! so how come I feel twice the size
mind you my boobs and bum are probably 8 sheets too

kangel · 09/08/2005 13:22

Hi all, just back from my scan and have been told that our bean has a dilated kidney - am so upset, have to wait now till 32 weeks (10 long weeks) to find out if it will correct itself.

Can't stop crying and feel like i'll never enjoy this pregnancy.

Congrats to all those who have had their scans.

Nemo1977 · 09/08/2005 13:28

awww kangel...dialeted kidney does tend to rectify in utero

ninah · 09/08/2005 13:29

hello kangel, sorry to hear that, you are having a tough time aren't you
So what do they say about the kidney, does it normally just sort itself out, if not what steps do they take?
I guess it's something that corrects with growth, since they are leaving things be, it's not something I know about though
Did you find out the sex, or didn't that seem important today? xx

sweetheart · 09/08/2005 13:34

kangel - I'm sorry you didn't get all good news at your scan.

From just havign a brief look on the net it seems that kidney dialation normally effects boys more than girls 80%/20%.

It would also seem that this normally rectifies itself before birth but if it doesn't a course of anti biotics after birth normally sort's the problem out.

I know it's probably no comfort but try not to get too stressed out. Go and get a big cream cake or box of choccies to munch on - it always helps me feel better

kangel · 09/08/2005 13:35

No we didn't find out the sex but am still convinced its a boy.

If it doesn't correct itself before its born then it will go for scans but they didn't say what they have to do to correct it and I wasn't sure I wanted to know incase it was really bad.

Has anyone else experienced this?
