All the best for tomorrow pidgin.

I'm not feeling nearly as ill this time as last. Mostly just fat and droopy and HUNGRY. But my g'mothers say they felt much less sick second time so hopefully it's normal. Have booked reassurance scan for after Easter.

Urgh, don't know how you can bear to watch this OBEM thing! Just the adverts send me under the sofa cushions. DS was in a NICU for a week or 10 days soon after he was born, so I'd have run miles from that one. Lewisham - they didn't like me picking him up during the day "because if you hold them a lot, they start making a fuss at night and it's difficult for the night nurses". Hope the featured NICU was a bit more 21st century.

Morning everyone.

Loopy it must nearly be lunchtime for you now seeing as you were up so early! Can you sneak in some catnaps throughout the day to make up for it?

Have arrived into work today feeling knackered but at least this is the hump-day and it's downhill to the weekend after lunch.

Our department admin just whispered to me that she's pregnant. She'll be 12 weeks on Friday. The poor thing has been off work for the last 5 weeks and in and out of hospital with a "vomiting virus"....which of course now she can say was hyperemesis. Makes me feel very fortunate to have only felt generally grotty so far! It was all I could do to resist shouting "ME TOO!!!!!!" when she said she was pregnant but managed to stifle it. Phew! Will be nice to have someone else pregnant at work at the same time I think, although I know I'll be comparing myself to her re weight gain/wardrobe etc.

Threelittleducks and funbun I now want chips and cheese for dinner followed by a bounty for dessert .

Hope everyone has a great day.

hi all ,havent been on in over a week .well i went for my scan last tuesday morning and saw a sac and yolk sac measurin 4 wks 6 days which i was happy about. but then the doc started goin on about how i was measurin very small as goin by my lmp i shouldve been 6 weeks 6 days which means that was the day i got my period . so the doc said my hcg levels are doubling like they should but i have to go for a scan this friday again as she told me i could miscarry between last tue and this friday so i have been panicing.Apart from that i have bn getting symptoms that are coming and going aswell but no cramping are bleeding .Also forgot to say my age i am 26 with 3 boys so this will be baby number 4.

mumch i had a scan on 16/3 and measured at 5 weeks when i should have been around 7 then had another scan yesterday, 7 days later and measured at 7 weeks so had grown 2 weeks worth in 7 days. The doc says it happens and its ok. So dont panic too much

Threelittleducks · 24/03/2010 09:58

Katey1010 · 24/03/2010 13:43

I'm also a fan of the all the healthy and all the unhealthy as well. Yesterday I had melon, broccoli, asparagus, carrots, apple, chicken, brown bread with nuts and grains, some other stuff and A BIG PIECE OF FUDGE CAKE. Shrubbler wanted it. That is the bump's name. Any names for bumps out there?

BTW all the people having chips and cheese... What you are actually craving is poutine, a French Canadian deliciousness with chips, cheese curd, gravy... mmmm must get poutine...

IssyStark · 24/03/2010 13:59

mumcha and pidgin good vibes sent your way.

food! I'm salivating now! Wasn't hungry before lunch and had a colourful bowl of salad for lunch (lots of vitamins - go me). And now, now I'm craving a Bounty

Roll on coffee break and I think I'll be nipping downstairs to pick up some chocolate.

Hi Sapphire well done on the cracker!!! I am in Canada at the moment so I will be having the baby here. I'm going to hope for a home birth but I think they will try to get me in the hospital. They LOVE c-sections here!

Particularly as I'd like a water birth which means one midwife has to be there at all times by law. It's a great way of getting one midwife to be there at all times!!! I actually live opposite a midwife so I'm hoping she'll step up and I can just shout out my window when baby comes!
