Due October 2010 - anyone else??

loueytbg · 21/01/2010 13:26

I got a very faint BFP last night and a really nice pink line this morning This will be my third baby, but 2nd pregnancy - I had twins first time round and I'm really hoping for just the one this time.

Due date is 2th October by ovulation date and 6th October by LMP - I'm going with the early date at the moment although I'm sure the NHS will change it to the later one.

I feel as sick as a dog and have nearly puked already which doesn't bode well for the next few weeks. God know how I'm going to keep it quiet.

Right I'm off to buy some more tests to pee on

PFJ I'm so sorry for you, I hope all goes well in the future.

littleredcorvette welcome, all of that sounds perfectly normal

loueytbg · 04/03/2010 16:28

Really really sorry PFJ

Congrats littleredcorvette [love Prince btw]. Yes its completely normal to have a belly already - one of those things that no-one tells you before you get pregnant. I swear I pop out straight away - its mostly bloating though. Bloating is starting to go now (at 10 weeks) and have a bump instead. Add yourself to the list (just cut and paste it from earlier in the thread).

PFJ so sorry to hear your news, what a shame. I must say you seem to be taking it remarkably well. Here is the link to the other thread I mentioned a week or so ago. Everyone has had at least one mc & are in varying stages of ttc or pregnancy. They are all lovely & keep saying that they need some new people to join them.

ThePFJ · 04/03/2010 17:21

Thanks all. Mummylovessadie - Ok will go over to that thread to moan about the immense and stupid pain I am in. I think I need mini-eggs injected interveniously right now. Stat. Love and more love to you all xxx

Meanbeansmum · 04/03/2010 17:29

PFJ, I am so sorry, thinking of you.xxx

Xavielli · 04/03/2010 17:51

So sorry PFJ. Sending you lots of love and positive thoughts for the future.

IlooklikeGrotbagstoday · 04/03/2010 18:30

PFJ so sorry, that's awful. Hoping we hear from you in a while with good news. Big hugs xx

QA hoping everything's ok for you.

Welcome littleredcorvette

I finished the meds yesterday so am just waiting to see how bad the sickness gets now. I was still vomiting, just not as voilently. Hopefully it has eased off, i don't want to end up in hospital again. DH has been trying his best but my house looks like a bomb site and needs a good scrub. I'm normally so house proud, it's really frustrating that i just don't have the energy to do anything yet. Even contemplated getting a cleaner until i am back on my feet but i think i'd be too to let anyone in. There's nothing worse than a grotty house when you're feeling grotty yourself.

I had a very naughty dream last night involving an ex of mine. Woke up feeling very guilty and couldn't look DH in the eye

spoiler alert
Everyone i know who craved oranges ended up having a girl. Has anyone else any experience of this?

flyingdoll · 04/03/2010 18:41

Hi everyone, im 8 weeks+1 and craving oranges like mad. I have a 4 a day habit! Is it really unusual to have no sickness at all? I am not even queasy, just tired with sore boobies!

MummyLovesSadie · 04/03/2010 18:43

Oh goody - I'd love another girl!

SeaShellsOnTheSeaShore · 04/03/2010 19:07

Not sure about Oranges, but I craved Grapefruit and had a boy, so maybe WHICH citrus is v gender specific ?!

welcome littleredcorvette

Vikks · 04/03/2010 19:42

PFJ - You sound like an amazing woman, I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through. All the luck in the world to you on your journey. x

Welcome Littleredcorvette Flyingdoll 8+1 Snap!!!!

Xavielli · 04/03/2010 20:03

I craved grapefruit with my son too. And then anything savoury! with DD it was all SWEEEEEEEEETS!

MummyWilliams · 04/03/2010 20:07

PFJ so sorry to read your sad news. Wishing you lots of luck in the future xxx

Sorry that I haven't posted for a while, have been feeling very very tired and rather yucky. Had a bit of an emotional weekend for no particular reason, just couldn't stop crying.

Anyway, on a brighter note, i'm 9+3 tomorrow and have my booking in appointment with the midwife too. Going to try and get another scan in at EPU before the usual 12 weeks just for some extra reassurance. Then i'm going to hire a fetal doppler for a few weeks just until I can feel regular movements.

I have been in maternity clothes for nearly 2 weeks now, and have also invested in the Maternity Belly Belt to convert my own clothes - I can highly recommend this.

Take care everyone, enjoy the mini eggs

PS. I craved lemons with DD and mint kit-kats and mint aero's with DS.

xxx

lilmissmummy · 04/03/2010 20:08

Very sad to hear your news PFJ. I am sure you will have good news again soon. xx

I am the size of a house too, boobs v sore and really really tired. Although MS hasnt been too bad.

Umm with regards to cravings- with ds I craved tinned tomatoes and hated crisps, with dd I craved stuffed crust pizza (?) and hated tea.

This one I am craving orange juice and hate tea. so girl??? maybe. I will be happy with a baby I dont mind which flavour!

Hi new people and welcome!

Thinking of you QA and hope you feel better soon grotbags, I am sure no one minds about your house except you! x

My dreams are getting weirder by the night! Last nights involved ghosts, funfairs and dying! NICE

(((PFJ)))

MummyLovesSadie · 04/03/2010 21:12

Update for everyone - PFJ has been taken to hospital by ambulance as she was in so much pain. She was on my other thread this evening for a bit before she left. Will keep you updated.

NinthWave are we one?? We've both had 3 mc's & have 2yo lo's. Let these be the beans that stick.

lilmissmummy · 04/03/2010 23:15

Oh no I hope she is okay... please keep us updated if you can Mummy? x

RosieBeagle · 05/03/2010 08:49

Hi everyone, not posted for a few weeks as was beginning to think I was imagining this pregnancy but had early scan on Wed to confirm everything ok they put me at 7 weeks with a due date of 22nd October, So exciting to hear the heartbeat and come away with a picture to prove it!
I too am craving fresh orange juice. Have had no sickness just very tired, typical I booked the day off work today to have a rest and was up at 7am as dont feel tired!!!
Sorry to hear the bad news thats happened on here recently, Ive never had a MC myself but its taken me 3.5 years to get a BFP as a result of IVF so I absolutly do not take this for granted. Its such a constant worry isnt it.
Anyway enough ramblings, hope everyone is doing ok and hoping ThePFJ is ok

Oh yes sorry for a bit of a random question here but i have had a cold on and off for about a month now and when I sneeze it hurts my tum like hell - I think I am holding myself funny to try and protect the little bean when I do it (i know i know dont ask!) and the result is I pull a muscle or something!!!!!! Anyone else get this or is it just pathetic old me

Hermya321 · 05/03/2010 10:14

Oh my word, I hope PFG is ok, the poor thing.

SeaShellsOnTheSeaShore · 05/03/2010 10:17

Thinking of you PFJ

KSal · 05/03/2010 10:50

So sorry for you ThePFJ and sorry you're leaving us.

Someone asked further up if it was ok to have no sickness - Yes! I had none at all in my last pregnancy and all was fine. Am getting slightly nervous now because i was nauseous up until yesterday and it seems to have gone... should i be worried... or just happy i don't feel sick any more?

arg... wish i could stop worrying - i've still at least 4 weeks to scan!

shieldbug · 05/03/2010 11:23

ThePFJ so sorry to hear your news. Hope the hospital can sort out the pain quickly. Will really miss your mini eggs round here.
Questions any news yet?

KSal I'm pretty sure that it's normal for nausea to come and go so I don't think you need to worry at all.

Rosiebeagle great news about your scan. Congrats!

Feeling nauseous for the first time today and really not impressed. I'm going away on our Parish weekend tonight ...don't want to raise suspicions by barfing everywhere or not eating anything!! Hopefully it will wear off soon.

tiredfeet · 05/03/2010 12:30

I am so so sorry to hear the news about pfj* but thank you for updating us. I really hope she is being looked after well.

grotbags glad you're a little better, I really hope coming off the meds works for you. I also wanted to give you my sympathy re a messy house- mine is the same. I don't think I (or DH) realised how much housework I did until I got sick. Its a state, and its really getting me down, but I find I have to stay still as much as possible to keep food down, and plus I really don't have the energy to tidy, so totally sympathise with you.

I'm also craving orange juice, so will be interested to see if the 'girl' theory works- I totally don't mind whether we have a boy or a girl, DH claimed he wants a boy but I knew that if it was a girl she would be able to completely wrap him round her little finger (eventually got him to admit this!). I can't stomach actual orange juice so I'm getting through a box of orange juice ice lollies every day

RosieBeagle congratulations on your scan, it must feel lovely. I know what you mean about not taking it for granted, it took me 16 months to get a bfp (just after we'd started fertility tests) and that felt like such a painfully long time, so I am so happy for you that you finally got there

I am having a good day today because I finally bit the bullet and told my parents. I was really nervous about telling them, particularly my mum, because I thought they were going to be judgy about my choice of timing, but in fact (as my brother had told me they would be!) they are both absolutely delighted and excited, so I feel such relief and happiness. They are already talking about getting a cot and pram ready for when we visit, I have had to keep telling them its early days still and to calm down - my mum had a miscarriage at 10 weeks though, so she did understand my reluctance to get too excited yet.

even better, I think my nerves about telling them were contributing to my sickness, as I am actually feeling a bit better today - fingers crossed it lasts!

questionsanswered - just wanted to say I'm thinking of you, too.
