I got a very faint BFP last night and a really nice pink line this morning This will be my third baby, but 2nd pregnancy - I had twins first time round and I'm really hoping for just the one this time.

Due date is 2th October by ovulation date and 6th October by LMP - I'm going with the early date at the moment although I'm sure the NHS will change it to the later one.

I feel as sick as a dog and have nearly puked already which doesn't bode well for the next few weeks. God know how I'm going to keep it quiet.

Right I'm off to buy some more tests to pee on

I'm hoping to save him tonight. Possibly PFJ might join me although I do have a tendancy to read it as BFG!

I love big bang theory too , have only just discovered it & watched all the ones on 4OD

Norfolkbumpkin · 03/03/2010 20:03

Just advising that I will be signing off for a while due to rl issues giving us a big kick up the backside at present. dh has been admitted to hospital today suffering from acute pneumonia following on from a cold/chect infection. He is very poorly, so as a result is being taken to ICU tonight for more comprehensive care/treatment. He is only 37 and a fit young bloke, so this has come as a massive shock. It is consuming my every moment, and I am trying to keep some sort of routine going for our dd whilst hoping that the little bean inside hangs in there. As a result time on the pc is not going to be a priority. so long for now, hope to be back very soon in much more positive circumstances.

Hermya321 · 03/03/2010 20:25

Norfolk I hope your DH gets better soon and that RL improves soon.

Nymph It is very addictive isn't it, my DH bought me the DVD's for Christmas, he's lovely.

SeaShellsOnTheSeaShore · 03/03/2010 20:42

I HAVE BROADBAND!!!!! I HAVE A WORKING COMPUTER!!!

Sorry, been waiting for it for weeks. I hate struggling on a really slow connection on Iphone for 20mins a night lol.

Norfolkbumpkin thinking of you and your family, I hope everything improves and you dh pulls through (that he is young and fit is HUGELY in his favour for recovery being good)

Nymph with you on the BFG/PFJ thing. I have to correct myself each time I type it. My brain is mush.

PfJ I hope tomorrow goes well!

Xav I hope everything sorts out - can't advise really, but lots of strength to you. MEN!

ILoveGH glad the scan went well. Who is Gregory House?!

QA Sorry to hear that your scan was not straight forward - its hard to stay positive, but hopefully friday gives you more answers.

So I see a MW next wed (stupidly thought it was today and got all excited lol) so just trying to chill and relax. trying not to over analyse but its hard not to.

lilmissmummy · 03/03/2010 22:17

Yay seashells how exciting working computer!!!! I have a MW appointment next Tuesday but I think it is only to discuss bloods and make a booking appointment.

PFJ and Questions so so sorry to hear your news, sending you loads of baby glue to keep them stuck in there! Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for your blood tests tomorrow!

Norfolk hope your dh feels much better soon, stay strong I am sure everything will be okay.

Xav You are a strong and smart woman by the sounds of it and you will be ok. Sending you loads of hugs. I live in a small town so there is no choice of mw but I am sure you can call the practice or ask the doctor and find out more info?!

Last nights I dreamt that dh went to fix a lesbians car and I was talking to the guy from scrubs until a bad man chucked my dh iphone into a pond so I chased him upstairs where he had stabbed his pregnant girlfriend... I woke up in a cold sweat! Wonder what that one means?!

I have drank my 8 cartons of fruit juice in 2 days and quite like the sound of the apple lucozade... and discovered a new passion... cinamon bagels and phillidelphia

ThePFJ · 03/03/2010 22:24

Seashells - Yay!!!! Loving the Internets.

Hermya and all - my fav big bang episode is when Sheldon tries to buy Penny a christmas present to match the value of whatever she has got him and ends up buying a selection of different sized gift baskets so he can select an appropriate one on the day... but Penny had bumped into Leonard Nimoy at her restaurant, and he signs a napkin to Sheldon and wipes his mouth on it.... 'OMG I own Nimoy DNA...'says Sheldon agast, and ends up giving her all the baskets plus.. a very tentative hug. Hilarious.

Nymph - I'll help you with Frodo!!! I'll just get my weapons and armor stash and see you there.....

ThePFJ · 03/03/2010 22:30

ThePFJ is a long time tag of mine. It refers to The Peoples Front of Judea, from a popular Monty Python movie called the Life of Brian. If you know it, you are officially on my cool list. If you don't you can be on my list anyway because lists are stupid.

I am not a BFG Big friendly giant. I am only just 5 foot tall for a start!!!!

Ok will stop posting and get to sleep now. Love to you ALL.

ILoveGregoryHouse · 04/03/2010 06:59

SeaShells Gergory House is a God. Well, a fictional grumpy sod doctor played by Hugh Laurie in the series House. It's fab. Now you have your working computer, do a google.

What can i eat? Now fed up of toast and can't think of anything else I want. Okay, more toast then, maybe with lemon curd?

Nymphadora · 04/03/2010 07:14

I love the Life of Brian!!!

Well I didn't save Frodo cos I was up a mountain in the snow looking for a giant baby that was bigger than dd2(8). Caught the baby but then couldn't get big enough nappies and had to do masses of washing.

Xavielli · 04/03/2010 08:12

Thanks guys, your support means alot. He is going away for the weekend so atleast we will both be able to relax a bit and maybe think with a clearer head.

Norfolk - sending you lots of positive vibes for you hubby and wish him a speedy recovery.

Those of you in limbo - I so hope everything works out for you!

SeaShellsOnTheSeaShore · 04/03/2010 08:39

ILoveGH - I never knew his first name (a certain small child interferred with tv watching as I spent the last 16mths in bed at most opportunities!! Its on dh and I's "things we need to watch" about 2yrs too late)

PFJ SPLITTERS ( I happen to be subjected to the drunk rehashing of that very scene every time my dh gets together with his old uni friends )

I am shattered today due to a teething ds only having 25min nap yesterday pm (not 2hrs grrrr) then waking at 5am this morning - we are soon off to get his (very late) MMR jab so am NOT looking forward to my day!!

I am also bloated so can't do up my jeans 8.5 weeks is far to early to consider maternity trousers purely for bloat, surely?!!

NinthWave · 04/03/2010 08:50

ThePFJ thinking of you today - hoping for good news.

ThePFJ · 04/03/2010 09:14

LOL Ninthwave, and I hope your pains abate in double quick time.

(Found this spoon sir!)

Am biting my nails off now.... I really hope there is still a baby in me, and I hope its not ectopic!! Will try to chill out and eat something, really DON'T feel hungry this morning. Must try to force some food down me...

QuestionsAnswered - Am still thinking of you honey.

Hermya321 · 04/03/2010 10:12

Nypmh I love your dreams, I kept dreaming about car seats last night and the process by which you would secure a car carrycot into said car. This then got me worried about the state of said car as it's up for it's MOT in a bit.

PFG Am thinking of you today!

Wow I missed a lot! I started a new job on Monday and I'm struggling with the very long hours. I've been sleeping in my lunch break and going to bed really early. I hope this settles down soon.

On a good note; I've got my booking-in tomorrow, which I'm excited for! Feels like it's all getting more real. Plus my jeans feel tight but I think that's got more to do with me eating all the time than baby!

PFJ & QA thinking of you.....

loueytbg · 04/03/2010 12:12

Questions and ThePFJ - I'm really sorry you are both going through such a rough time. Have fingers crossed for you. You are more than welcome to come on here and have a moan, that is what we are all here for.

Ladyintheradiator - lurkers always welcome but if you want to add your name/details to the list please do

Seashells - yay for broadband. Its v difficult to scroll and remember everything when on iphone. Esp if you haven't been on for a while

Norfolk - your poor DH. Hope he starts to get better soon. Must be really rough on you. Hang in there.

Xavi - sorry DP is being such an arse. He is probably scared witless and this is a typical mans defence mechanism...hopefully he will get a grip come to his senses very soon.

I'm sorry, I've missed loads out - this is the first time I've been able to get on this week. Had a mega presentation to write and then give which has made me stressed all week. Thankfully it went really well and now I'm back to MNetting in working hours

Can I just say that you're all making me very hungry and I now need mini eggs . [wonders whether ocado deliver them....]

Someone said about disappearing symptoms...mine come and go a bit but I definitely much more sick when I am tired. a couple of good nights sleep of 10 hours+ and I am much less sick the next day. I had a slight panic when that happened first of all but it came back again after a rough couple of nights.

I'm very jealous of all of you having such vivid dreams (although perhaps not about tyrone....). Its not happening here. Really sore boobs though which I didn't have this time. Poor DH is very jealous of my expanding boobs but I squeal like a mouse if he goes near them.

Got my doppler out the cupboard earlier, might have a go and see if I can find hb later. I'm 10 weeks tomorrow. Counting down to booking in appointment next Tuesday when I will get scan date. I really hate keeping it all a secret...

Hello all- PFJ and QA- fingers still crossed for you hope you're ok. x x

More vivis dreams about a meal worm infestation. Very odd. Tiredness kicking in now- had no motivation to go to the gym at lunchtime. Feel like going to bed dead early, but would feel really sorry for the dog if that makes sense!

MummyLovesSadie · 04/03/2010 14:15

Lurking for news of PFJ & QA.

Does anyone else wake up feeling like they've been on the lash the night before? My mouth was so dry & furry this morning that I had to have two oranges in bed at 7am just to feel halfway decent.

Also had my bump fondled for the first time this morning - I'm only 8/9 weeks ffs! I've not put on any weight but my tummy sticks out as far as my boobs now & I've been in maternity wear for a week.

ThePFJ · 04/03/2010 15:25

Hi everyone,

Looks like its GAME OVER for me, will get the official result at 6 o'clock but the specialist doesn't think theres hope. Bled again today while at the hospital waiting to be seen.

According to the specialist, it's the whole 'according to my first day of my last period - I should be 6 weeks pregnant, and there wasn't anything on the scan' thing. They said that might be because I could be only 4 weeks pg but it doesnt really work like that....

Bugger bugger bugger.

The biggest shame of it all is that I was really getting to know and like you lovely ladies. Obviously I can't really post anymore, not really good for my mental health!!

QuestionsAnswered - am still thinking of you.

So unless I come on at 7pm tonight screaming happy at you lot, here's my piece:

Good luck, and please please enjoy yourselves and always be positive. I know you'll look after eachother and play nicely!
There is always time for me to try again, and if I should fall pg before you lot 'drop' then I'll come tell you all

Huge massive mini-egg filled hugs to EVERY ONE OF YOU.

Elsa123 · 04/03/2010 15:28

So sorry to hear that PFJ- my thoughts are with you. x x x x

Hermya321 · 04/03/2010 15:30

PFG You're in my thoughs!!xx

tiredfeet · 04/03/2010 15:43

really sorry to hear that pfj, so sad that its not good news for you, take care and yes it would be lovely to hear from you again with happy news in due course. Thinking of you xx

littleredcorvette28 · 04/03/2010 15:48

I found out I was pregnant last week- seems like an age away now! feeling really rough actually; painful boobs, extreme tiredness and a touch of nausea. Also, I seem to have a really fat belly already, is this normal???

SeaShellsOnTheSeaShore · 04/03/2010 16:07

PFJ I'm really sorry to hear your news. Its so difficult - my thoughts are with you and your dp. If you want to chat at all just let me (us) know and start up a thread - I had a mc at 6 weeks in Oct (and one at 12wks before ds was born) and can be an empathetic listening ear if you need one.

You are always welcome to drop by when you feel strong enough - and I look forward to hearing happy news in the future from you

unMNetty (((hugs)))
