hello - we made it!

shame kangel, that's not good news. will he find other work fairly easily?
sh, just checked and my 20wk scan is on 8/8, so at 21wks really. only 4 wks away......
seeing the midwife next Friday, looking forward to hearing the heartbeat again - dh and dd will be there as well - I think dd will enjoy listening to it, she's already had her ear on my tummy trying to listen for 'the baby'

scully ur same as me then ish will be 21wks for my scan to which is on 9/8. I am 17wks today how time flies

Nemo on a happier note my scan is also on 9/8! I'm 17+4

Kangel, how awful for you & your DP. I hope he finds something else quickly. I'm sure the bag of revels will work their magic & make you feel a bit better.

Sweetheart, I'm sorry for making you feel guilty for shopping . I thought it was just me who hadn't & I was getting left behind. I'm just because I'm willing 20 weeks on & I'm still only 15.

kangel, I'm really sorry about your other half. I hope something much better comes up for him really soon.

27days til my scan. sigh. feels ages away.
you know its always this time of day i really feel tired could just shut my eyes now and be off.....but of course, I cant, -dd2, school run, special dinner to create, perscription to pick up, by the time i stop it will be time to dish up, then time to bath dd2, then pick up ds from camp, then.ETC!!!.............before i know it 9/10pm! my days seem to scurry by lately. maybe it WILL be decemeber before i know it. eek!

kangel - sorry your having a stressful time honey - try not to get too worked up, it's not good for you!!!!

I wanted to take my dd along to the 20 week scan now we have the all clear but dh has said no. He said we've come this far and should carry on the same. Plus he doesn't want her taking a day off school even though it's the last week of term!!!

can anyone tell me where to get the best deal on a doppler??

Hi all just checking in before the weekend.

Fred and i are doing good. Have a bad case of thrush at the moment i think it may be due to the anti biotics i was on last week. Tried to go chemist but they didnt know if it was safe to use when 15 weeks pregnant so rang my docotrs. Spoke to midwife who said yes use it but i have to go in next thurday for a check up and to have a swab taken to check for any other infections. Have never had thrush and its horrid, I feel swollen and am so itchy!!! Is this the hormones do you think?
Have had no more strong bleeds but have started to get thick blood stained discharge but think thats just the thrush.
Fred seems to be moving fyrther up my tummy now and is getting harder to keep track of when i check on him. Just had his heart really strong on doppler then likle beggar must have completely somersaulted cos i couldnt locate him again!
Ok enough from me, am off to a girly friends house tonight for an indian and to watch BB eviction! Keep safe and be good ok.

Sounds like normal yukky horrid thrush to me Bonkerz - its quite common in pg unfortunately

Sorry, don't know owt about dopplers though a few on this list have got them off somebody on ebay

jays - got mine from mybump.com. not cheap but next day service top quality item etc.....

bonkerz , ugh thrush, i am prone to that ucky thing, hope youres goes soon, get the cream and also dirnk plenty of probiotic drinks/yoghurt to help keep it in balance after.
also find belly bean keeps getting louder/quieter on doppler, think they are having a party in there!!

jays i bought my doppler from dopplermike on ebay and had it next day.

thanks peeps for your responses, have been looking round on ebay and other sites, think i will prob go for oneonce the wedding is ut of the way ( Aug 6th) as funds are stretched at the mo.
Have had a really emotional day today, i hate feeling like this, so out of character for me to cry over nothing, i feel like i am not in control of my own body....what with the wedding and work and part time uni, it all feels a bit too much at the mo. The other half only has to say are you ok for me to burst into tears, poor him, he doesnt know what to do with me and sometimes makes it worse by doing nothing, but then again if i dont know what to do how is he supposed to know...sigh...am sure it will pass.and i will start to feel all blooming and wonderful as you so often hear happens! got to keep i guess

Not a lot going on here ds has been waking in the night past few so just adds to the tiredness...lol SO have just thrown him into garden with ton of toys while i chill out

yes starry its my wedding, its only a small affaire in Devon but the organisation is still the same as if i had 150 people coming! It is exciting and i am looking forward to it alot! just that sometimes the expense bit ( what with baby on the way too) has a depressing effect on me...will be cool though, feeling better this weekend as Mum and Sis came to visit.
Nemo, i cant wait till those first kicks, although whilst i think its will be totally amazing i am still thinking it will be very alien like!!
What a lovely sunday its been today, have totally taken it easy and have been laying in the garden reading a book...highly recommended!
