phoned dh when I got home and he said..great..thats one drama out of the way...until the next one....i confess it is starting to feel that way tbh...I dont know what plenet I was on when I thought it would be a straight forward pregnancy

memorylapse · 27/11/2009 16:49

ooops meant planet..not plenet

mollybob · 27/11/2009 17:11

but you know that it doesn't matter as long as you get there in the end

memorylapse · 27/11/2009 17:24

Mollybob..I reckon if everything works out and I have a healthy baby at the end of this..my local midwives will have a knees up!

Carikube · 27/11/2009 17:38

Great news memorylapse!

KayloHalo · 27/11/2009 18:47

Hello fellow pregnant ladies

I was gonna tell you guys in a few weeks but Carikube rumbled me

I found out on the 16th Nov that I am officially pregnant, again. Due date 1st Aug. So thrilled and I'm so sick! And tired! And sore breasted lol. Basically I'm loving every symptom because I actually feel pregnant this time so am slightly confident that there will be a baby in 8 months.

MemoryLapse I'm so sorry that you're still having problems, it will be such a relief for you when you have your baby in your arms

I hope you are all well and I'm sorry that mine wasn't the last bit of bad news the May thread saw.

Love and Hope to everyone

xxxxxx

memorylapse · 27/11/2009 19:03

Kaylo..thats wonderful news...I will be keeping my fingers tightly crossed for you

TwentiethCenturyHeffa · 27/11/2009 19:14

Kaylo - that's such fantastic news, congratulations Sorry you're feeling rubbish but glad you're enjoying symptoms!

itshappenedagain · 27/11/2009 19:35

kaylo- fantastic news
ML- so glad that all is well and that soon we will all be massive and be having our ribs briused from the inside! so releived to know that all was ok.

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 27/11/2009 19:35

Brilliant news, Kaylo! So pleased for you.

What a relief eh, memorylapse? don't be embarassed, we're just glad it wasn't anything serious and baby is fine.

Suey good luck with your amnio, I hope it all goes well and you get a good result.

I have been trying to sort out my 20 week scan but as I've just swapped hospitals I think I need to book in again and see the consultant etc before I'll get a scan appointment, so it looks like it'll be sometime in january when I'm 21 weeks +

memorylapse · 27/11/2009 19:54

good luck with the amnio suey..

talking of scans..I got my appt through today...23rd December..Ill be 21 weeks

Yorky · 27/11/2009 21:10

Congratulations Kaylo, I'm so pleased for you
Thank goodness you got looked after this time ML, 2lots of lovely news to log into

pigleychez · 27/11/2009 21:21

not posted for ages but pop in for a lurk ever so often.

ML- Glad things are ok now. Sorry to hear about your awful treatment at the hospital.

Kaylo- Fab news

Suey- Good luck for the test.

My next scan is 8th Jan.

Re SF jab- I still have No idea what im going to have it or not. I really cant decide!

Schipo- When I had my 4d scan with DD, I was told around 28 weeks was the best time.

All ok here apart from being knackered from being up all night with DD, She has a horrid cold and is really unsettled at nights

Cith · 27/11/2009 22:12

Memorylapse...glad to hear things are all good.

Suey - good luck with the amnio. I had a CVS a few weeks ago and the procedure wasn't as bad as a I had imagined it would be. Be sure to take it easy afterwards. Fingers crossed for a good result.

TomlinTowers · 27/11/2009 23:03

Kaylo - what great news, well done!

ML - also great news, don't be embarrassed, it's always better to get things checked out.

Suey2 - good luck with the amnio, remind me when it is again?

Have been to see Father Christmas with DS1 and our friends from our NCT class today - 5 toddlers in a one hour queue = not a good thing, but DS1 loved FC! When he was asked what he wanted for Christmas, though, he reeled off a list of stuff, including a digger and "some music" - he might have to learn that FC has space for only a limited amount of presents....

booboomonster · 28/11/2009 09:32

Hi all
finally caught up on posts...

gosh what a week you've had ML - so sorry to hear bout the stress and beeatch nurse. Great that it turned out fine. I hope the stresses are over but it's a nervewracking time so maybe not. Anyway, fab result!

Loads of luck to itshappened and others worried about bleeding.

Congrats to kaylo - fab news

Re swine flu - thanks to mollybob and James for interesting insights... What a decision. My lot seem to know nothing which I had thought might mean that risk of SF had decreased, but now I realise might just be about money. Ho hum.

All fine here I think... Envious of those with pre Xmas scans - mines end jan. Feeling less sick now in 2nd tri... Though still knackered by general pace of life. Was quite jealous of SIL who at 6 weeks has been signed off til jan with morning sickness. Tho at least it made dh appreciate my efforts to carry on as usual. And presumably she is worse....

Anyway, hope everyone has good and worry free weekends x x

TwentiethCenturyHeffa · 28/11/2009 10:05

Pigley - sorry your DD is unwell, hope she's better soon.

Suey - good luck with the amnio results, when do you find out?

Tomlin - I can't wait to take DD to see Father Christmas although I'm not sure if she'll really understand.

My next scan is on the 30th, so we can know the results in time for the New Year I guess.

itshappenedagain · 28/11/2009 14:54

twentiethCH- i have my scan then too...although i amy be seeing them earlier if bleeding persists. will you be 20 weks or just over?
was out shopping with Ds...more shoes and had a thought that i will have it twice over next year and have to start taking a pram/ changing bag into town again.
im still having wobbles over weather i am doing the right thing, but once i tell family im sure thigs will settle down, i was the same with DS.
hope all are well and having a fun weekend, im off to do some painting.

mollybob · 28/11/2009 18:24

My next scan is in January but not that bothered - just so happy that sickness is definitely improving. Still knackered but who cares?

Am wildly craving fast food chicken burgers? Not that I'd ever normally do McDonalds, Burger King or KFC but I am powerless to resist. A driver at work today went and got me a chicken burger - I hugged him

Any other weird cravings?

cupcakefairy · 28/11/2009 18:47

Molly I've been craving yukky junk food-y burgers too so weird! Dh made me a posh burger the other day but it hasn't satisfied it! May have to raid BK!

Pigley are we the same person?? same due date, same date for 20wk scan, and both v undecided as to swine flu jab...

I've finally put scan pic on profile if anyone's interested, and Kaylo what wonderful news, thanks for letting us know

Mollybob..I must admit we drove past the local kebab house and I said to DH..I could murder a kebab!!..now I never touch things like that usually and certainly wont now..but it smelt sooo nice

tiggsy · 28/11/2009 19:40

Molly i'm craving junk food big time! last time i was scoffin fruit and lollies, this time i can't get nough big tasty burgers!

My scan is mid january, same day as my 30th birthday so dp just said "ideal, only need to take the one day off work" which was nice of him lol!

Bit feeling a bit uncomfortable today, hoping it's nothing and going to have a soak and see if it helps...still stressing cos of flu jab though

pigleychez · 28/11/2009 20:30

Heffa- Thanks for thinking of DD. Shes actually been much chirpier today and i havent been constantly attacking her with a tissue!

We took her to our local NCT christmas party today. It was so fab, she loved it and so did I. We saw and had a chat with Santa. She was calling him Far kissmass, which was so cute! There was a pro photographer there taking pics and I cant wait to see them. It was her first visit to Santa as shes only 16mths. Felt quite emotional!

Well I thought the MS had gone but was back with avengance this morning

BooBoo- Know what you mean about your efforts being appreicated. DH and another a friends DH were heard chatting at the xmas party saying how being a stay at home mum is a full time job and how they dont think they could do it themselves! Dont you forget it boyo- especially being pregnant too!

Mollybob- I too am loving takeaways at the mo, Especially, chinese, fish n chips, pizza etc!
I also keep swapping between drinking gallons of fruit juices and gallons of strawberry Crusha milkshakes. At least baby will have strong bones!

Cupcake- Does seem that way! But who will pop first!?
Cant seem to open your profile to see your pics.
