13+2 here and feeling drained. I don't remember this complete lack of energy last time round. Managed to start to cry in Pizza Express at lunchtime for absolutely no reason whatsoever... DH said he'd look after DD this pm whilst I had a nap but somehow I appear to be the one with her whilst he's off upstairs doing something or other. I think I might put her down for a nap and then go for one myself...

DH has decided he doesnt like me pregnant. (jokingly)
When im pg I seem to want to decorate everything. With DD I decided to paint the bedroom. I was 36 weeks pg and did it unbeknown to DH whilst he was at work. Anyway after moving a wardrobe and breaking it, we ended up buying whole new bedroom furniture aswell. The I decided the bed didnt match so bought a new bed too!
Well ive now decided to redecorate the lounge. We have been thinking of a new sofas for ages but we ended up buying one yesterday. I have also persauded DH to replace the fireplace. This has meant he has spent today knocking it all down and half the wall. Been a big job and very dusty!
Poor DH says that me being Pg is expensive and hard work!!

Hello all, havent been to see my grandad but mainly because he seems to be doing ok and should be hope by next weekend so I decided to wait until then. We move house in 2 weeks so lots of sorting, selling and packing to do.

I am glad other people are having grumpy days. I have been awful today and its predominantly food related I am hungry but nothing seems quite good enough! Went over to see my mum and she cheered me up with roast potatoes (I'm nearly 32!!)

I have been starving all weekend but intermittently vomiting too - hubby has done a major clean up downstairs. My Mum came out and brought me soup and organised my washing. But I'm still grumpy.

My blood pressure must be really low as I'm so dizzy when I get up so I have decided no more getting up until tomorrow morning...

I've also been part of the grumpy gang! Although touch wood, I think the last week has been a big improvement and I feel more at peace .

I'm 15 + 1 today and feel really bloated and that I suddenly have grown a bump. I think I will find it hard to hide it from work next week (my boss is away until the following week so I wanted to wait until he was back and tell him first).

Pigley, you're a busy lady! Although I do have the nesting bug already, but I'm way too tired/sick/grumpy to do anything about it.

Evening all have had nothing really interesting to say the past few days. MS seems to be going, still lingering a bit though. SPD has kicked in though, hips are sore tonight, we went for a little walk today to the park to feed the ducks and tonight I have been ironing. It kicked in about 15 weeks last twice as well so not surprised, just got to think up coping strategies now.

Evening all. I'm 12 weeks tomorrow and pleased to report a return of some energy at last. My scan isn't until the 16th so haven't told many people in RL yet. When I told my Mum she said "I thought you might be, your father and I have been looking at Moses baskets for you". She's also convinced it's another boy - she must be right!

Not been on in a while as having major computer problems

Thought I was feeling much better but today I've felt awful and my gag reflex is ridiculously sensitive. Looking forward to scan on Friday and hopefully feeling better soon.

Hi all just checking in and have nothing exciting to say. Oh, except I got very good Nuchal results back. And bought the baby a stuffed elephant, which reduced me to tears, as did reading about blue whale populations recovering from near-extinction, and about a hundred other things.

Pamelat hope granddad is doing better?

question I am still getting the odd sharp, twisting pain, eg when I cough or move weirdly. It does feel like a ligament or muscle rather than a cramp. Does this sound normal or should I check it out?

I have also started contacting doulas!

Have my scan today - 13 weeks today - and feel ridiculously nervous. Keep thinking of viv and hoping she had a great day on Saturday.

Will keep you posted. Nausea finally wearing off a bit - had pretty normal food over the weekend!

morning all how are you? All ok here I guess. Had a mad weekend with birthdays/parties/ferrying ds to competitions on saturday, then yesterday was lovely and chilled, though I ate far too much and ended up in agony in bed last night feeling sick

Anyway, I am actually on my own today for the first time in god knows how long Got some energy today, so I am going to try and get the downstairs floors cleaned today, that will be a job well done. I have got my booking in appoinment with the midwife at 3.45. Am very nervous!!!

Hi all,

First time on this site and so not entirely sure how things work.....but i am due 7th May and so thought I would add myself on, especially as no one else is currently due on that date.

This is my 1st pregnancy and so I am still getting used to all the info, advice, scans, appointments etc. I have had virtually no pregnancy symptoms at all although am slowly growing a bump, which is reassuring....

Have only just told my boss, but no one else at work - think i might have to next week though.

Welcome, *Woody(. Strangely enough, I've just had my NHS dating scan, and my due date has been moved forward again so I'm joining you on 7 May! (I was 12 May, according to the GP; 13 May according to m/wife and dates; 9 May from the Nuchal scan last week, and now 7 May. If I have many more scans, I could be dropping next week...)

Baby seemed fine - kicking like mad, but that was prob because the sonographer was prodding really, really hard!

LuckyC..Congrats on the Nuchal results - it's such a relief isn't it! I'm getting the occasional sharp pain when I cough or move weirdly too but as this is my first pregancy I can't really answer your question
By the way - what's doulas??

luckyC - that is completely normal the pain your getting. When ever I cough or sneeze I have to almost tense myself so the pain isn't so horrible. I have had it in all of my pregnancies. It is because your muscles relax down there to make room for the baby.

I got a letter from my doctors today inviting me for the swine flu jab. I don't have a clue what to do. I find in really hard making decisions. What has everyone else decided?

Scan went really well. Happy baby, low risk of any problems, all vital measurements pretty good. Such a relief... - that wasn't really a 'no comment', I just like the new jammy rings!

lizzie I have pretty much decided only to have Celvapan if I can talk the GP into it. Nightmare...
