Hi Ladies

Just wanted to let you know that I will be leaving this thread. Sadly my little bean was not a sticky one. I won't go into detail as I know what an anxious time this is without hearing about you worst nightmare first hand...

Good luck to everyone, and try to enjoy your pregnancies, whatever symptoms get thrown at you

We will keep trying and if I get lucky I will pop back to let you all know

Take care x

lazyemma · 12/11/2009 15:32

I'm really sorry to hear that, beaufies. Take care, and hope to see you soon with happier news.

violetbubbles · 12/11/2009 15:51

So sorry to hear your sad news beaufies
Take care.

lifeistooshort · 12/11/2009 15:54

oh beaufie so sorry for you. Just don't know what to say really.

Thanks for all the welcome for the july's bus former passengers

Definitely a lot of bloating going on here. My trousers/tum get really uncomfortable in the evenings. Cominf 16.00 I usually look like I am four weeks pgt. I am sure I will show in no time too considering it is my third and that with my 2nd I was in maternity trousers at about 8 weeks!

violetbubbles · 12/11/2009 16:00

Hey GibbonInARibbon - you're right! I have become a neurotic mess and I must stop obsessing . I will not test again. Well, not until next week...

Welcome to lifeistooshort and all other newbies!

NorkyButNice · 12/11/2009 16:09

Sorry beaufies This has been a bad few days for the July ladies - so sorry for all of you.

Welcome to any new ladies I've not said hello to yet - things are quite manic here at the moment and I keep forgetting I'm PG (was looking longingly at the bottle of white wine in the fridge earlier then remembered it's going to be a while till I have another drink!).

Firerise · 12/11/2009 16:14

Beaufies sorry about your news, I'm thinking of you. I hope everything goes well for you very soon xxx

GibbonInARibbon · 12/11/2009 16:31

So sorry beaufies thinking of you and wishing you all the luck x

ApuskiDusky · 12/11/2009 17:14

Beaufies, just wanted to echo everyone else, I'm really sorry to hear your news . Take care.

So very sorry to hear your bad news beaufies

Hope you're ok firerise x

lifeistooshort · 12/11/2009 18:07

welcome mousemole. I think we were either on the june or july thread together. Congrats on your good news

Emster30 · 12/11/2009 18:46

Oh I'm so sorry beaufies. Take care of yourself and all the best with trying again.

Welcome to all the newbies, especially those from the July double-decker!

Interesting to hear some of you talking about bloatedness. I've been feeling terribly bloated today, I feel like I look about 4 months pregnant not 4 weeks! I did have a big lunch though. I'm less nauseous today, probably because I had a huge bowl of shreddies and banana for breakfast and then a big lunch so my stomach hasn't had a chance to be empty.

I'm seeing the nurse next Thursday when I'll be almost 6 weeks. I'm just expecting her to check my BP, weight etc and get me into the system to get a midwife appointment and hopefully a swine flu jab too - what do we all think about that?

It is killing me not to be able to tell anyone! I'm about to go off to a choir committee meeting where I have to report on an event I'm organising on 17 July next year - I wish I could say now that someone else may have to take it over... Plus I don't want to ring my mum as I'm scared of blurting it out. We've agreed to tell our parents face to face but time is dragging - can't believe it's only 72 hours since I got my BFP! I must be almost due by now, surely?

Evening all! Just updated the stats Not sure we've got everybody tho, can we all check that we're there and in the right place please? You KNOW I get neurotic about these things and I'm having a rare day with my brain engaged

Hello to the newbies espesh the familiar names from the July Bus

Am very for you beaufies I hope you are ok

I'm eating a disgusting amount of food today. I can't even bear to list it all here but needless to say the 3 pork pies have contributed to the bloat tonight. I've done alot today and wiped out now! Bed early tonight

mousemole · 12/11/2009 19:44

hi to all the familiar names from the July and other buses, it's good to be here..
I am very anxious and stressed because my nausea has really subsided. It was terrible at the weekend but last 3 days has been barely noticeable. Still got sore boobs and a a headache.
Has anyone had the same experience?

ApuskiDusky · 12/11/2009 20:02

I'm afraid my nausea is still present and correct, and I'm struggling a bit. The travel sickness bands have helped a bit, so I'm going a step further and taking myself off to an acupuncturist tomorrow to see if that helps. Will report back!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 12/11/2009 20:26

can't find seabands in local shops I'm going to check out my favourite pharmacy tomorrow morning god, that sounds bad doesn't it?!

mousemole my nausea has subsided today. Had a rough patch this afternoon but that was because I was away from a source of food for 2 hours. I think if I keep stuffing my face with crap nutritious snacks and drinking plenty to keep the dizziness at bay I'll be the size of a house fine

apuski hope the acupuncture helps I had reflexology when pg with dd and it was FAB but I only discovered it later on. I wonder if that helps too?

Amiable · 12/11/2009 20:36

Hello Ladies. Can I join you? I've just done the test this evening, and got the two pink lines, so am looking at a due date of 16th July.

Haven't read everything, but want to pass on a big hug to all those who have had to drop out of the thread - my heartfelt sympathies.

I've had two MCs - one start of last December, and one end of March, so really nervous about it this time, and know I will be able to rely on you lot to hold my hand! We already have DD, aged 3.9, so this will hopefully be #2.

Oh, for the stats, I'm in North London! (anything else you need to know?)

grumpypumpkin · 12/11/2009 20:52

hello all!
Welcome newbs and for those where its not going to plan.
Let us know how it goes tomorrow Firerise- will be thinking of you.

Still no proper symptoms but am a bit more aware of whats going on in my tummy than usual, bit tender and crampy.

Keep smiling to myself at work when I think about it, but really need to do a good job of lying all over Xmas and NY as don't really want to let them know till end of Jan, as will be difficult for them when I am off and I know that they will start sidelining me a bit from all big decisions as they will think "well she wont be here for that anyway". I am also on a short term contract which will finish when Im on maternity leave so will go back to my lower paid "real job" while Im away as I wont be able to put myself in pole position for another job at this grade.

What lies can I tell over Xmas? Am known as a girl who likes to enjoy gerself so will have to come up with something good!!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 12/11/2009 21:17

lol grumpy I'm also a girl who likes a party so a few more people know than I would like really. I'm useless at lying! My problem being that I tend to drink wine or obvious spirits like amaretto straight so I couldn't just get an oj and pretend it was vodka and orange or similar. You could try that, or say you're on anti b's for something? See? I'm useless!

Welcome amiable I do hope this is a sticky bean for you We're dead nosy and want to know how old you are too

GibbonInARibbon · 12/11/2009 21:39

If it's not the same people you will be seeing, say you got hammered the night before and are so hungover you can't possibly manage a drink that night

If it is the same crowd then will have to be anti b's for ear infection etc

I sound like a cow chewing cud, not attractive I know but chewing gum (yuck usually hate the stuff) helping tons with the MS. Thought I would try it and bugger me it works.

Did giggle at I think if I keep stuffing my face with crap nutritious snacks and drinking plenty to keep the dizziness at bay I'll be the size of a house fine I keep thinking the same but last few days hardly managed a thing.

Let us now how acupuncture is Apuski!

Spirael · 12/11/2009 21:46

Evening everyone!

I'm so sorry you're leaving us Beaufies, it's a horrible experience to go through.
Things must be pretty traumatic, but I hope you remember to be kind to yourself and I have every confidence that you'll soon find yourself back where you want to be.

Welcome to all the new people joining today, it looks like July is going to be a busy time! Looking forward to 8 months of chattering away with you all, though I suspect this topic will get moving pretty quickly if we all get going at once-!

I'm lucky on the whole keeping the secret while not drinking front. I'm not a big drinker anyway, so no-one really expects me to drink much when I go out. I'm usually the designated driver! So I can't help you much with excuses, sorry... I guess you could come up with something like antibiotics for a tooth ache, or an early start the following morning, or an alcohol free diet/detox you're starting prematurely for a New Year resolution??

Not much happening here right now... In fact worryingly not much. My chest doesn't seem to be aching as much as it did... I have no cramps or bleeding, so will someone come and reassure me that everything is peachy and sometimes symptoms just go awol for a time, please?? Mild panic is starting to set in.

FactsAndFigures · 12/11/2009 21:46

Hello to newbies

Sorry to hear of your news Beaufies, I can't imagine what you're going through.

Grumpypumpkin - what about a sponsored "dry" December? Everyone will think that you won't be able to make it as you enjoy a drink, they will then sponsor you generously thinking you're certain to fail and you end up raising a bit of money for your favourite charity

I'm 6wks today and MS free! The only symptom I've got is by late afternoon my stomach seems to swell and under my boobs feels very tender!! I'm supposed to see GP on Tues but now have back to back meetings at work, so will have to call and rearrange tomorrow Just hope I'm not leaving it too long to miss the chance of a 12wk scan before Christmas

MumfieMagic · 12/11/2009 21:50

Got call back from MW today, she's already booked me in for my scan in December and am seeing her 21st November (Saturday, how keen?). So super excited but remembering that MC Dday from last time is tomorrow, still bricking it.

Anyone else got appalling noises in their stomach and a lot of ....air??

Fireise big positive vibes for tomorrow...
