congratulations mrswee! those forceps are grim, aren't they? my DP was fairly traumatised by them too - like you, I was drugged up to the eyeballs so less freaked out by them than him

mummyhill · 15/10/2009 17:21

Aww congratulations Mrswee.

Congratulations Mrswee, beautiful name x

thanks everyone!
I presume breast feeding is supposed to be as dramatic, traumatic, difficult and unpredictable as childbirth...yes?

Can someone direct me to our postnatal thread now that I have finally graduated?

Congratulations, Mrswee - so pleased for you, but sorry that you had such a long drawn out ordeal. It's all over now!! Welcome Elsie Rose!

Have to say that I haven't found breastfeeding as bad as I had been led to believe - nipples can be a bit sore, and I sometimes get paranoid about whether or not she's getting enough, but Caitlin and I seem to be a fairly good match.

Didn't manage to get onto the web yesterday (seems a bit rude while the outlaws are around - DPs ma is great for cuddling DD to give us a break and I get afternoon naps ), but Caitlin is peaceful in the baby gym at the moment. She'll be ready for second-breakfast soon, I reckon.

Speak to you all on the other side
