Morning!!

Congratulations Diege and Mr Diege!!! Lovely name and a really good weight!!! So pleased for you!!!

Ses, tell SIL to mind her own business. If you are happy BF then keep it up!!

Hope everyone is well. I am not sleeping at all at the minute. Been awake since 4 this morning. I've decided if it happens again then I am just going to get up instead of just lying in bed.

GYo · 14/06/2009 07:04

morning,

Hi star, sorry Dd is poorly but good news on the sleep front. Will DD take a bottle now ?

Moosy · 14/06/2009 10:44

Well done Diege! And thanks Mr Diege for telling us

Have a nice day in Devon GYo and wave as you go past!

Kayzr · 14/06/2009 10:53

I have been thinking and I think we will hold off ttc until next year. I am losing this weight and I would like to enjoy being slim for a while before pilling the pounds back on. I haven't told DH yet though.

Cosmogirl · 14/06/2009 11:12

Congratulations Diege!! So pleased for you and your family!
Ses - you are doing really well - just ignore people's negative comments. I went along to a breast feeding group the other day and found out loads of interesting stuff, since then I've been reading lots about breast feeding and it is such a mine field with all the different opinions etc.. Another group I'm going to, out of 8 mums only two are bfing so it seems BF is in the minority as well.

Re: staring GYo. Some people have odd views about bfing and I don't think that C4 doc with the mum feeding an 8 year old helped things...My BIL said the other day that it made him uncomfortable...eh? Boobies were made to feed babies not for men to oggle at....page 3 has a lot to answer for! Ok, I'm off the bfing soapbox now

Cosmogirl · 14/06/2009 11:18

Re: mini meet up - would love to meet some of you! Would London or someone near to central London be doable for Southern peeps? I can get to Kings X on the train in an hour and 20.....I've never been on a train with DD but there's a first time for everything....

sorky · 14/06/2009 11:41

I find that some people stare, but most people smile at me
I've never had a negative comment, but have had a few people say they wish more mothers did it, or that it's nice to see

Cosmogirl · 14/06/2009 11:48

That's nice to hear, Sorky

Cosmogirl · 14/06/2009 19:07

Wow....did I kill the thread? [sneaks out....]

SesHasFinallyBecomeAMum · 14/06/2009 21:35

Not quite Cosmo!
Hopefully everyone's been having fun in the sun!

bumpsnowjustplump · 14/06/2009 21:48

Congrats diege Mr Diege and all the little dieges.... I bet he is getting absolutly smothered by all the girls isn't he. Lovely name and cant wait to see pics..

Well shit day here. Wont bore you all with the detials but I think the upshot of it all is that I am going to be a single mum I really dont want to go into details if thats ok but may need you all for support in the near future.....

Ses good luck tomorrow with the weight in... I have one too so lets hope they have both gained loads....

Cosmo good to hear from you!!

hi to everyone else..

SesHasFinallyBecomeAMum · 14/06/2009 21:53

Bumpy - sending you a huge and blatant hug
We are all here when you need us and if you need practical help or a literal ear/shoulder, just let me know.
Wish I could say something more useful and helpful. You have my mobile no so let me know if there's anything I can do or phone it if you just want to scream at someone or offload.
Thinking of you. xx

Cosmogirl · 14/06/2009 22:02

LB - so sorry to hear that. Another hug coming your way from over here. Having a newborn (or just any children for that matter) does put immense pressure on a relationship I think, plus all you've had to deal with, with DS' sickness.

Look after yourself x

idreamofbeanie · 14/06/2009 22:27

LB - a big hug and some fresh brownies on their way to you. So sorry you are having such a rough time - my mobile number is on FB if you need to offload.

Hi Ses and Cosmo - hope you had a fun day in the sun.

GYo · 15/06/2009 05:11

hi there

LB, so sorry to hear a out your relationship. As everyone has said we are all here as and when you need to vent or just get support. Look after yourself x

Hi cosmo nice to hear from you. Definately not a thread killer
Hi Ses, IDOB and everyone else.

Diege hope you are recovering well and enjoying your new little boy

We had a nice day seeing friends in Devon. Moosy I waved extra hard? Hope your saw me

Not sure what today's plans will be. Might be raining

Morning,

Bumpy So sorry to hear that. Remember we are here if you need us. Sending lots of brownies and hugs to you!!

I didn't sleep again last night, getting a bit sick of it now. Might get some sleeping tablets or something from the chemist today.

Hope everyone is well.

Starshinetiger · 15/06/2009 07:32

LB - so sorry to read your news. As everyone's said, we are all here for you for anything you need. So sorry it is looking like that for you.
How is DS doing? Are meds/dairy cutout doing anything?
Crappy night here sleepwise, but DD was so happy about it all - woke at 12, then 2.15 - til 3.40 - just chatting, cooing and smiling, but wouldn't go to sleep, despite being put in her cot - was in vest and seemed to kick her swaddle off really easily with bare legs, so think she'll be going in a grobag tonight. Back up again at 6.05 - again all smiles still this morning, so at least that's something, even if I could pack enough for two weeks' hols in the bags under my eyes
DS on the other hand seems to be totally worn out by our visitors yesterday (had friends over for bbq) - went to sleep at 7.30pm and is still asleep now! Unheard of - now, when do they both do this at the same time - do I need to wait until teenage years?!

Kayzr · 15/06/2009 07:56

I have been thinking and I think we will hold off ttc until next year. I am losing this weight and I would like to enjoy being slim for a while before pilling the pounds back on.

I think DS2 is getting a tooth. He is very grumpy and very dribbly this morning.

glaskham · 15/06/2009 07:59

Morning- just popping in to say MASSIVE CONGRATS to The Diege Family- hope you're all resting and enjoying these first precious few days with your little man!!

Have tonsilitis and a migrane so am out of action for a few days...
