"Hello.
Just to let you know Rupert Edward made his way into the world at 2.23 this morning, weighing a healthy 7lb1oz- not bad for 36 weeks. Unfortunately he's in Scbu needing help with breathing, with nasal CPAP and possibly needing ventilation. He came out grunting and recessing. I've only held him for 5 mins and desparate to see and feed him.

I'm not making it public on fb, until tomorrow- when Imogen has told her school pals and pics will be up then too. Feel free to tell the other juners on MN.

Keep fingers crossed that Rupert will get better soon xxx"

CONGRATS to effie and her wee boy! Hope everything goes well.

Laura - snow is right, if you could get out and about I think that would help. Feeling isolated is totally understandable especially at this stage in pregnancy, and to be honest also when you have a baby, so get as much support as you can!

I really want to go out, weather lovely again, but at the same time want to do as much work as possible to get this research finished!

I too just want baby to come, I am trying Looouise!

Girls, I am doing my best to lure LO out, but I think she has her mother's sense of timing and will be late...

Laura - I think def call a girlfriend or go for a walk, or do something nice for yourself. Can you go and buy a fruit salad and sit in the sun munching while reading a really trashy mag? Hope you feel better soon... Prob not helping that your LO has been mischevious pretending they are on their way, then staying put!

I saw the midwife again today, she says baby is 3/5ths engaged (same as 10 days ago ) and still OP. I have an app with the consultant next monday when i'll be 40+6 and she thinks he will try a sweep but will want me in the following day for induction thought they'd give me a little longer, but they are worried about my last csection scar. really really hope it happens some point this week so i can avoid induction!
