morning all

Eshay I've got no choice really, the evenings are the hardest when DD has gone to bed and I'm on my own and the weekends too because then I got a break as DP would do more. Only 10 days to go till were reunited though.

I'm lucky too in that I've had no morning sickness as yet, I feel tired but having a 10 month old and all the stress I have right now would do that to me anyway. Like last time I feel a bit of a fraud that I'm not actually pregnant. I know this sounds really silly but throughout my pregnancy last time I thought somone was going to turn round and say "sorry your not pregnant" although my ribs getting a good kicking every day was a good sign I was.

My appetite has gone, not craving chocolate which is very odd for me. Picking at food really but forcing myself to eat as I'm still BFing DD too.

Chuffed · 18/05/2005 09:39

sweetkitty that is just like me too, no morning sickness and I was expecting the scanner at 10wks to say 'what are you doing here'.
Not feeling too tired yet either, in fact went to the gym this morning and did spinning which I'm quite proud of, hopefully I can keep this up like I did for dd - I did an hour spin the day before I went into labour.

pinksofa · 18/05/2005 14:28

just been told that I have got Strep B anyone on the thread know anything about this?

Chuffed · 18/05/2005 15:03

pinksofa there is a number of threads about it.

www.gbss.org.uk/ has some info

The main thing is knowing you have it, they give you antibiotics during birth and all should be fine.

lilsmum · 18/05/2005 20:39

just to let you all know, i wont be joining this thread after all, after a faint pos+ and 8 days late for AF, i started spotting yesterday and i am now in full flow heavy bleeding with awful cramps

good luck to you all with your tiny bumps, and will look forward to reading all your birth announcements in Jan

horseshoe · 19/05/2005 13:43

lilsmum,

I'm really sorry to hear this and really hope you get your BFP soon....chin up.

Well can I officially join you all ladies. I'm due 22nd I think with my 2nd.

Extremely worried as had missed m/c before I had my first.

Lots of signs that come and go, had a very very light bleed last week which I think was implantation? 3 very strong BFP's so far.

i have wanted this for so long as probably have you lot so congratulations

Chuffed · 19/05/2005 14:58

welcome horseshoe - how old is your first?

Chuffed · 19/05/2005 15:00

pinksofa just read your other thread - am sending tons of sticky dust to you and all the good positive thoughts I can muster.

horseshoe · 19/05/2005 15:15

Hi Chuffed. She's 2 and will turn 3 in early Jan also so Jan will be an extremely expensive month for me

Pinksofa, I have seen your thread too.....wishing you all the best.

Lilsmum - so sorry it's bad news, best of luck for next time, I'm sure we'll see you again soon.

Congratulations Horseshoe!

Pinksofa - i have replied to you on your other thread, hang in there!

Chuffed - spinning! I had a friend who swam 70 lengths a night when she was 9 months - it was all I could do to get into my cossie...

How is everyone else?

chezie · 19/05/2005 18:43

Hi everyone.
I am about 6 wks pg. Been to see consultant and all is well, they even managed to see the heartbeat which was very reassuring although I had to wait till I was 7 wks for heartbeat to be visible with last pregnancy so I was surprised to see it so early. I am due around 10th Jan. got to go back to hospital in 4 wks. Now on Enoxaparin injections every day till the baby pops out. I too am really tired... I can't stay awake past 9pm and my legs feel like jelly. My other children are 1 and 4.6 years old and I am wondering how the hell I am going to cope, but I am sure I will.
Good luck to you all xxx

pinksofa · 19/05/2005 20:15

congrats to all the newbies

thanks for messages of support resigning myself to the possibility of things not working out as the heart rate is so low and the baby is small for its age, small sac and me bleeding, found a website that said that if heart rate is less than 100 at this age then outlook is grim, 80% pg fail

ds pg was fine so this has come out of the blue, was complacent, but it has been one thing after another with this pg, poor little mite bless her - for some reason i think shes a she, but prob wrong as ds was a she in my book

I was very sad earlier today. I saw the heartbeat and dr was positive and then started measuring and every new bit of data was bad news. So sad seeing my baby and knowing there was not much hope

but I am so blessed to have my dh and ds and taking a philosophical view, feel some trepidation at the physical side of things (if i do mc)

you all take good care of yourselves and enjoy this thread and the helter skelter of pregnancy, will let you know what happens next week, bye for now

horseshoe · 20/05/2005 07:55

Oh Pinksofa. I dont know what to say except that I'm thinking of you.

sweetkitty · 20/05/2005 08:50

thinking of you pinksofa

Flumpette · 21/05/2005 10:59

HI All. Read all the posts and it's bitter sweet news. So sorry that some of you have had bad news after thinking that happy news was in order.

DH has worked out that our baby is due Jan 12th but I have a scan next week and I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant or thereabouts.

Feeling nauseous and tingling boobs on and off. Very, very tired - narcolepsy.

Feeling apprehensive and just want to skip to next Thursday to be reassured that all is well.

Elly1801 · 21/05/2005 18:47

Hi all,

Good to read all msgs, and find that there's a place to share all that's going on. Sometimes it's hard not to be able to explain or tell people but I'm quite appreciating chance to get used to idea. DH too.

Got a +ve test back fr DR last week and think I'm due 16 Jan. Have got an apptmt wi DR on Monday to get all the info etc.

Take care,

Elly

AngelCakeUmm · 21/05/2005 18:59

Hi all and welcome to all the newbies

Lilsmum i am really sorry to hear your sad news i am thinking of you.

Pinksofa - so sorry to hear what your going through i will be thinking of you and your family

Well i am feeling ok been away for 5 days and that was the worst holiday i have ever been on. Thought i was going to relax but came back feeling worse than when i left

Still feeling pg thank god. I am suffering with tiredness quite badly now but luckily dp is really helping by letting me catch sleep when i need it and looking after our ds

Still paranoid bout mc but trying to be positive!!

I think i am only just over 5 weeks now, my pregnancy test picked up i was pregnant at 3 weeks i never realised, is this normal?

Will pop back soon and catch up with you all again, look after yourselves and relax

Flumpette · 22/05/2005 08:32

Hi All. 6 weeks pregnant and I have an early scan (due to IVF Conception) next Thursday. On tenterhooks and just want to be secure in knowledge that there is heartbeat.

Feeling very very tired and nauseous and boobs are very sensitive. So signs are positive.

How is everyone else feeling now?

Mak · 22/05/2005 13:14

Hi all. Lilsmum - so sorry to hear your news.
Pinksofa - hang in there.
Welcome to those who have just joined, I can't keep track now. Sickness seems to be coming and going more now (which I keep worrying about, it was constant) how about everybody else?

NorfolkTurkey · 22/05/2005 16:21

lilsmum

I wondered where these due in threads had gone. Been looking in pregnancy - duh!

LMP 6th April - due 11th January I think. Already have one DD who is 12 months. Have had a bit of a dodgy history. Ist baby came at 24 but died after two days. Second was a stillbirth at 26 weeks. My DD made it to 29 weeks and is luckily georgous and perfect in everyway. Fingers crossed that this one will hang around until January!

Been feeling really really tired, but when I get to bed I can't sleep! Other than that no other real sympton although my boobs have been sooooo painful for the last few days!

Good luck everyone!

Rachey1969 · 22/05/2005 20:52

Hi Norfolkturkey and Flumpette - I hope all goes well for you this time.

I really hope pinksofa had a peaceful weekend - I've been thinking about you.

I'm absolutely knackered all the time, slept through the FA cup final and very nearly star wars as well! Lots of unattractive retching, smells are driving me insane, mainly my own house and my own cooking! I went a bit mad and bought a pram on ebay cos it was what I wanted and a bargain, I really hope no-one was watching...

How is everyone else?
