Due in December 05

OK, it's way too early to test yet, and I'm probably tempting fate here, but I've got classic morning sickness, the dates are just about right, and I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant. And I've always wanted to start one of these due in threads .

And if the blue line winks at me in 10 days time, then I'll come clean and post under my real nickname.

Any one else?

I want to eat absolutely everything in sight! I haven't been this hungry in a long time. I crave big meals, too, not junk.

scully · 12/04/2005 12:18

my dd is 3 this month.... so thrilled that we've invited about 20 people and + their children around for a party for her, in 2 wks time, here's hoping I still feel ok.
I did 2 tests yesterday, and bought another 2 to do later in the week, don't think I found out this early with dd so a bit more anxious this time......
dd will be thrilled to hear there will be a baby in the house, she's obsessed with it all right now
saw my gp yesterday - they don't test you again here (was in a different borough for dd), so just have to visit the 2 hospitals I have to choose from and then it all goes ahead from there.

Nemo1977 · 12/04/2005 12:28

Qc i can probably ask for one but am undecided yet as even if i have one it prob wont stop the worrying cos pip made it to 9wks so even if i have one at 8 it wont mean anything. MY 2 prior mcs were naturally passed at 5wks and 6 wks so again not much point in a scan...so dont know what to do

BROWNY · 12/04/2005 12:36

Congratulations on your wonderful news!, I'm really happy for you!!. Hope you have a healthy and problem free pregnancy!! Wishing you lots of luck

quietlycautious · 12/04/2005 12:36

I know what you mean actually - I guess it's just re-assurance that you are actually pregnant and that there is still a heartbeat.

I won't be happy until I get to my 20 wk scan and even then I'll still be panicing. I think I'll start feeling better at 24 weeks once it's a viable pregnancy.

goldenoldie · 12/04/2005 13:51

chocfudge - I've got a 9 year old - who is not so keen on the idea of a sibling! I won't be saying anything for a bit.

Won't tell work till as late as pos. either.

Sophmum · 12/04/2005 14:52

Hello all. I think I'll cautiously join in. I'm due 10 Dec, and have been trying for a few months after a missed m/c in November.

Congrats and good luck to all, especially my fellow June girls, Nemo and QC. Fingers crossed for us all this time.

I've got my first gp appt tomorrow, and am hoping to wheedle a scan out of it. They don't normally scan here until 20 weeks, but maybe previous m/c will make them more inclined. Here's hoping.

Nemo1977 · 12/04/2005 14:56

spohs mum welcome...if they wont give u a scan do u have ahospital with an early preg unit..if so phone them direct when ur around 8/9 weeks and tell them ur concrens...missed mc is horrendous as u think everything is fine

quietlycautious · 12/04/2005 15:14

Hugs sophmum but congrats on your new bean!!!

Can I ask a really thick question - what is a missed miscarriage?!?!?!?!

I carried my baby for about 4 weeks after he died thinking everything was ok - is this what you mean by missed???? Sorry if it's a horrible question

quietlycautious · 12/04/2005 15:15

scully · 12/04/2005 15:25

I was thinking the exact same question, qc.....
& my edd is now the 17 Dec dh's b'day is the 12/12, so we're hoping I'm not early like last time!

quietlycautious · 12/04/2005 15:56

Blimey scully - looks like your in for a very busy December - good luck

I have been told if I go into labour on Xmas day I have to keep my legs crossed!!! Because dh and I know the day we conceived he thinks my due date should be 40 wks from that date - which takes me into xmas week - I've tried to explain it doesn't work like that but he can't get his head round it!!! Bless him

scully · 12/04/2005 15:57

we also know the day we conceived
when you have a 3 yr old, it's not difficult to work out

Nemo1977 · 12/04/2005 18:50

qc missed mc is what you experienced...like i was 15wks but baby had died at 9wks but my body held on with no outward signs of anything being wrong so u continue to have all pregnancy symptoms etc.

I am also worried about the dropping on xmas day. However my ds was 15 days late so who knows..lol

quietlycautious · 13/04/2005 09:44

Is any one else suffering from being totally over emotional???

I am really frightened anout my mw appointment today and spent all of yesterday evening in tears. I seem to feel like crying at the slighteset thing at the moment.

Being at crappy old work isn't helping!!!

scully · 13/04/2005 09:53

teary no, but a very short fuse at times, yes! that's when I first realised I might have been, on Sunday, when I lost it over something quite trivial.....
I did get teary though in my last pregnancy, cried once when dh had a haircut I didn't like

Nemo1977 · 13/04/2005 10:08

ive been quite weepy..crying at stupid stuff but have also been getting loads of cramps so convinced something is going wrong so i think its normal to be worried and weepy..lol

Lottielou · 13/04/2005 11:18

quietlycautious · 13/04/2005 11:32

Oh lottie, I'm so so sorry.

I was wondering where you had been.

If there's anything I can do please feel free to CAT me. I know things must really suck at the moment but I promise it does get easier.

Stay strong honey. xxx

Nemo1977 · 13/04/2005 11:46

chocolatefudge · 13/04/2005 12:04

Sorry to hear your sad news lottie hope your ok.

Thanks quietly cautious to put my name on the Dec birth list!

I'm feeling alot more hungrier now although it's early days yet can't wait for my docs appointment on Mon i wonder if they will check with a urine sample or just go by the tests i used.

Lottielou · 13/04/2005 12:18

Thanks Girls. It was all a shock to be PG in the first place, it all happened so quickly, as soon as i was, was as soon as i wasn't. I was just adjusting to the idea when it was taken away from me.
