Due in December 05

OK, it's way too early to test yet, and I'm probably tempting fate here, but I've got classic morning sickness, the dates are just about right, and I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant. And I've always wanted to start one of these due in threads .

And if the blue line winks at me in 10 days time, then I'll come clean and post under my real nickname.

Any one else?

QC, am so happy for you...speak to you properly when you're feeling more like your old self

golds · 11/04/2005 14:01

Oh thank you, I have only told dh and two friends so far, worried about telling my parents as I don't thing they will be too enthusiastic . So keeping it under wraps for now, certainly not telling the kids as all of the school will know by tomorrow.

Nice being able to share it with you all. I feel sick

Scraggyaggy · 11/04/2005 14:02

Sending you all lots of love and best wishes for December. Speak soon QC. xx

quietlycautious · 11/04/2005 14:07

Golds, don't let your parents feelings put a dampner on yours - if you are happy then that is all that matters. If they want to be miserable about it - let them, it's them that will miss out in the end!!!!

I am trying not to tell people at the moment too - although failing quite miserably!!! It's so hard keeping it a secret isn't it!!!!!

teabelly - thanks so much. I'm hoping for a happier outcome this time round

quietlycautious · 11/04/2005 14:08

Thanks scraggy - and thanks for being a wonderful messenger service

golds · 11/04/2005 14:49

Can't believe how lucky I was for a minute there, its my birthday tomorrow and my mum and dad where buying me some sunbed sessions to perk me up a bit, I only remembered 15 minutes ago, so I phoned them and said I'd changed my mind, they were just about to go out and buy them.

I would have had to tell them then wouldn't I ?

I shouldn't care what they think, but I remember once my mum told my she regretted having a third - by the way I was the third.

quietlycautious · 11/04/2005 14:58

Oh charming!!! Hopefully they will give you a nice surprise and have a positive reaction - if not just say you'll be trying for No 4 soon afterwards to even out the numbers

My mum and dad have always told me I was an accident - in a nice way

welshmum · 11/04/2005 15:14

Anyone decided when they are going to tell work? Mine are going to be so happy - not! I only started there in January!

Think I will keep it to myself till I can't hide it any longer 5/6 months?

Nemo1977 · 11/04/2005 21:00

golden i would keep it quite from work as i think u have to be with a company 20 ish weeks to be eligible for smp from them...but not sure so check it out

I am lucky as this time i dont have to tell work as i am a stay at home mum to my 18mth old...

chocolatefudge · 11/04/2005 21:39

quietlycautious · 12/04/2005 09:33

Welcome Chocfudge, what a brilliant name - it's making me feel hungry!!!

Nemo, yes I would have been due in June - 30th June to be exact.

I'm not doing a very good job of hiding on here am I

scully · 12/04/2005 10:56

Not even close to telling work yet..... managed to keep it from them for 10 weeks for dd, so hopefully around the same length of time for this one as well.
Keeping it from friends is a different story though, they will all wonder very quickly why I don't have a glass of wine in my hand

chocolatefudge · 12/04/2005 11:50

Thanks
I don't have to tell work luckily as i'm a stay at home mum already, i did feel like going back to work though but can't with the next on the way. I am pleased to be having another but am worried about how i will cope with 2.

Have any of you got 1 already?

golds · 12/04/2005 11:56

Congratulations Chocolatefudge

Well I told my Mum and Dad this morning expecting a Oh right ??? type of response and they were delighted so thats good. Feeling a little queezy today, I'm hungry but feel too sick to eat. Oh the joys

chocolatefudge · 12/04/2005 12:04

I've been feeling faint a bit at times but i remember having it with my first pregnancy.

Hi Nemo: My daughter is 13 months old. I feel like testing again too! LOL but might as well wait till i see the doctor on Monday.

x

Nemo1977 · 12/04/2005 12:07

i havent made my gp appointment yet so will make one next week. They dont do anything here anyway just say o right ok fill in this form and make appt to see midwife..bye now..lol

quietlycautious · 12/04/2005 12:08

nemo - lol, I tried to do another test last night but didn't need enough of a wee it was a digital test and didn't soak through properly so I didn't get a result.

I'm trying to resist temptation to pop to the chemist and buy another one.

choc, I have a dd already - I'm so looking forward to telling her she's going to have a baby as she's been waiting for ages. We have decided not to tell her until absolutly necessary though because if what happened before. Also kids have no concept of time and I'd constantly be asked "is the baby coming today" - Errrr no, not for over half a year darling!!!!!!!

I'm finding the hunger thing a real pain. I'm hungry ALL THE TIME!!!!!! and if I don't eat I get all shaky and start feeling sick - Oh well so much for trying not to put on weight. I've already put on 5Ibs

quietlycautious · 12/04/2005 12:09

Nemo, do you not get an early mw appt or an early scan because of your m/c??????

I have my mw appt tomorrow and they are going to try and get me a scan for the end of April!?!?!?!
