Due in December 05

OK, it's way too early to test yet, and I'm probably tempting fate here, but I've got classic morning sickness, the dates are just about right, and I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant. And I've always wanted to start one of these due in threads .

And if the blue line winks at me in 10 days time, then I'll come clean and post under my real nickname.

Any one else?

Hi everyone,
Glad to see you all here. Going by my last period I am 5 weeks and 6 days. So i guess tomorrow is 6 weeks (shake, shiver)! I have a scan on Monday and am really nervous but also excited as i said if everything is okay will tell friends then
Praying for all of us - its so scary yet so amazing - my head is down the toilet all day and night...eugh!

teabelly · 02/04/2005 08:03

Morning all, just popping over from the Due in June thread to wish you all the best

HappySecret - did you reveal yourself yet?? Or have you gone over to the November thread??

QC - have my fingers crossed for you poppet - everything will be fine this time I'm 100% sure - december is a great month to be born...I'm a december babe so obviously I'd know!!

Omega · 02/04/2005 14:00

Gosh ChaCha I didn't know you could get scanned as early as 6 weeks - is that for a special reason? When is the first scan usually - I thought weeks 10-12? I haven't even been to my GP yet to confirm pregnancy - will be 5 weeks on Sunday.

smellymelly · 02/04/2005 20:56

I found you chacha - congrats again.

And to all the others on here!

I had my twins in Dec04, and I can't believe it was nearly a year ago I got pregnant. I couldn't do it again, but here's wishing you all healthy pregnancies!

HappySecret · 02/04/2005 21:10

Ah well, it happens. If I hadn't already been having morning sickness for so long, I would never even have known. At least I can look forward to some more BD .

Hope you all have good, healthy pregnancies and safe, easy births. Take care of yourselves.

LoL

slappawappa · 06/04/2005 20:53

ooh - I have been told to join this thread... Due 8th December... Am really happy had 2 periods in last 5 years due to coil and now no more until Jan 06 ;-) Yeah - my friend MummyToSteven arrived at my house 3 hours after first 2 tests said yes - first thing she suggest was joining MN myself. V happy! Did not realise that going off coffee was a common symptom though... Anyone else near St Albans?

Omega · 07/04/2005 12:54

Welcome SlappaWappa and congratulations - it's pretty quiet on this thread so far. What's your estimated due date?

goldenoldie · 08/04/2005 19:21

I'm due 7 December - anyone in north/central London?

slappawappa · 08/04/2005 22:34

Hi Goldie - I am due the next day - I work in London though.. good luck...

goldenoldie · 09/04/2005 08:08

Hi Slapper - when are you having your first scan?

Omega · 09/04/2005 17:10

Like Happy Secret, I too won't be posting again on this thread as I'm no longer pregnant - bit of a shock and upsetting at first.

Best of luck to everyone due in December with your pregnancies and little early Christmas presents!

boowidger · 09/04/2005 20:31

hi everyone, new to the site and hoping for some happy chats over the next few mths! did 3 tests on tues 5th, all positive so very excited! 1st pg so also a bit anxious that all will be ok. just 5 2/7 wks, due approx. dec 8th. already feeling more tired than usual and have sore breasts but no sickness as yet wanting to know if slight cramping is usual? dh is still in shock though already suggesting unlikely names! :0

Papillon · 10/04/2005 08:11

Slight cramping happens Boowidger. I am feeling it abit too.

Due 9 December so it would seem so 6 weeks pregnant.
Will divulge the weird conception story later if the pregnancy is indeed here to stay.

Papillon · 10/04/2005 08:13

Oh and congratulations and commiserations to others... good luck and all the best for future attempts. My dh is most disgusted that he is not going to get lots of SEX and that the baby has pre-empted him somewhat
!

goldenoldie · 10/04/2005 09:14

Anyone else getting lots of aches in the ovary area - mainly on one side - feels like ovulation pains?

expatinscotland · 10/04/2005 09:28

Just got my BFP yesterday. Mind if I join in? Due date is 29 December. We have a gorgeous, 21-month-old DD who loves babies.

So far, getting cramps in the uterus, which I also had w/DD. And the lovely constipation.

slappawappa · 10/04/2005 10:20

Congrats to expatinscotland and papillion on the Christmaas baby boom... getting excited now.. did buy first maternity jeans yesterday (it is just me of do you hate showing your belly in hipseter????) Have not got a date for a scan yet - but looking forward to it... only 6 weeks to go... Although very tempted to get one of those 4D scans

Papillon · 10/04/2005 11:49

goldenoldie - I am having some of the ovary pain feeling sometimes.. and boowidger is too (see below)... noticeable more on one side.... the left for me... feels abit spongey there. This is our 2nd babe so my belly swelling abit already.

Have not done a pregnancy test... can just tell like last time I am preggers... not sure if I will get a scan until the sex can be determined.

Cheers, all!

I didn't have a bump the first time till I was 5 months along. Wonder how long it will be this time round.

Still sort of disbelieving of it all, despite another BFP this morning. I'll probably test a few days until I finally believe I'm pregnant again.

Ameriscot2005 · 10/04/2005 20:18

Congrats, EIS!

expatinscotland · 10/04/2005 20:31

Cheers, all! Hope this all goes well. I've already got piles, however! WTF? I've NEVER had them and want them GONE. These are worse than the projectile vomitting I had w/DD!

Ameriscot2005 · 11/04/2005 00:43

Nice picture, EIS . Isn't pregnancy romantic?
