OK, it's way too early to test yet, and I'm probably tempting fate here, but I've got classic morning sickness, the dates are just about right, and I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant. And I've always wanted to start one of these due in threads .

And if the blue line winks at me in 10 days time, then I'll come clean and post under my real nickname.

Any one else?

Another one not getting much sleep here - not sure if it's a pregnancy thing or just utter fear of my hospital appointment tomorrow.

Went to see my friend in hospital yesterday with her new born. My dd loved it - spent a whole hour kissing the baby. She got quite upset when we left - she wanted to bring the baby home with us - I couldn't help smiling to myself - she'll be so chuffed when she finally gets her brother or sister

MINNIE1 · 26/04/2005 12:55

sweetheart,
that is soo sweet your DD and the new baby..

I agree with the no sleep only slept5 hours on sunday night but made up for it last night..

expressmummy · 26/04/2005 13:11

im now watching living tv all the gory operations and dh is going to bring me a chip kerbab with chilli sauce on the way home from work yum yum

dramaqueen72 · 26/04/2005 13:30

LOL a chip dinner on way home to you..anyone 'craving anything yet? i dont think i am but noticing i am after sandwiches/bagels rather than sweet things. in fact for lunch ate two stuffed full bagels.......when i'm normally pushed to finish one. also sleeping like a log, so tired need to nap during day -not always poss! also having intensely detailed dreams/nightmares, -something i sufer from in pg. traumatising stuff!
is it me, or is december turning out to be a popular month to have a baby?!

MINNIE1 · 26/04/2005 13:46

Abit of a personal question warning!!!

Has anyone got pain on the top of there down stairs part when sitting and feels is easier to sit with legs not crossed??? Its not a stabing pain its just a little uncomfe, ahave it abour 2 weeks now..

Hope this makes sense!!

Sid · 26/04/2005 14:46

Can I cautiously join this thread? Am nearly 8 weeks, but had miscarriage at 7 weeks last October (just after I joined the due in May thread). Only difference is this time I definitely feel sick - as I did with my previously successful pregnancies - have ds (8), dd (5) and ds (3). Have spent the last 2 years persuading dh to go for 4th, who eventually buckled and was highly enthusiastic particpant in the creative process, though he's now very depressed about what this is going to mean for family finances, stress levels, balance within family etc. This means that most days I am thinking 'OMG what have I done'.... Good to see others here on their fourth - I need backup support!

Nemo1977 · 26/04/2005 15:33

welcome sid and we r on no.2 and still thinking
OMG what have we done despite the fact we were trying for the baby..lol Can understand ur anticiaptions about joinging threads as a lot of us on here have had mcs.

Minnie i understand about the pain as i had it with ds.

DQ i have been craving pancakes...get at least one pack with the shopping a week..lol O and crisps....

sweetheart · 26/04/2005 15:38

congrats sid - what is your due date?

I've been craving celery and cruncy salad type food which I suppose is quite good and healthy. Also been eating a fair amount of crisps

Hope everyone else is feeling better than me & yes its nice to see other mums expecting no.4 as it seems to be such a rarity these days!

Hi everyone. Getting bit busy over here now, obviously everyone is after a christmas baby to get out of cooking the dinner!!

Has anyone else turned into a beach ball? My stomach is massive, full of wind & god knows what else. Can't eat as nothing is moving any more. Tried prune juice, water, fruit, senakot but nothing is working.... HELP!! I'm going to explode...is this normal???

Becky, have you tried porridge or pasta? Both pretty bland I guess.

hi there well ive nearly done a day without any blood still not trying to get my hopes up to much the doctor said im due between the 25th dec up to new yr my two dss have been early though so hopefully it will before xmas ds1 is 7 and ds2 is 4 x x x

dramaqueen72 · 26/04/2005 21:56

becky try plain bagel, lightly toasted with a tad of butter on, seems 'plainer' than toast. HONESTLY if you eat something you will feel better, for abit anyhow
george, that is totally normal, its the hormones slowing everything down. try hot water. yes hot water to drink (boil it first!)on its own (well alittle cold water in it to stop you burning your mouth!) it will rehydrate you and should help, other wise, i would go easy on the 'remedies' because suddenly you find you ARENT anymore (as its a phase) and it could be drastic!
anyone else crying alot? not 'upset' kinda crying but soppy crying because you love something sooo much and all that? god i am! help!

Nemo1977 · 27/04/2005 07:00
