Due in December 05

OK, it's way too early to test yet, and I'm probably tempting fate here, but I've got classic morning sickness, the dates are just about right, and I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant. And I've always wanted to start one of these due in threads .

And if the blue line winks at me in 10 days time, then I'll come clean and post under my real nickname.

Any one else?

george32 · 24/04/2005 20:39

Congrats on you BFP Expressmummy
I'm sorry but I can't offer any suggestions about your bleeding as this is all pretty new to me but I'm sure someone will be able to offer some advice for you.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who is too big for their clothes already Mishi I think I'm off to a running start with the weight I put on before the m/c.
I need more elastic

dramaqueen72 · 24/04/2005 22:18

anyone showing early, sagging early or putting on weight early - have you seen these?
these click to find the jeans... gosh they look great! i know i know, not cheap.....
I have tried 'cost cutting' on maternity clothes before but because you have to wear them ALL day EVERY day, you really end up hating them. so this time i'm sticking with more expensive but gorgeous and well made things.....like above jeans. and have eye on few more items from that site, and isabelle oliver's site too. once have good scan news am investing!! will tell dh they are an essential

dramaqueen72 · 24/04/2005 22:19

sorry meant to say click ESSENTIALS to find the jeans!

ebbie22 · 25/04/2005 08:50

Morning all...no sickness yet, yipieeeee,Sorry expressmummy i have no advice either, have you got an appointment with ur doctor?
How is everyting and did you all have a gd weekend?

george32 · 25/04/2005 09:16

That site is great DQ. Might have to take a trip to Kensington to go to the shop (not forgetting a credit card!!)
Let me know if you find any other fab sites.
No sickness for me yet either Ebbie so keep forgetting that I'm pregnant
Off to celebrate DPs birthday today. Lovely room booked with it's own hot tub, I just can't go in it now!!! I'll have to sit by the side stuffing myself with birthday cake. No champagne either, so it's grape juice for me!!
Hope you all have a good day & speak again tomorrow.

sweetheart · 25/04/2005 09:29

Morning all - had a very exciting weekend. My best friend had a baby yesterday so I'm off for a hospital visit today.

Congrats to the newbies - and welcome to the club. Also huge congrats to Golds - those results must be such a weight off your mind.

Dramaqueen - I know exactly how your feeling at the moment - it's horrible isn't it - feel free to come here and vent at any time. I am constantly thinking that this pregnancy is already over which is becomming really wearing!!!! I'm too frightened to even do another test incase it's negative. I'm 8 +1 today and I haven't had any morning sickness - the odd bit of nausea but apart from that nothing!!!!

I'm starting to get a sinking feeling

NotTellingYet · 25/04/2005 09:46

No sickness for me either - but then I didn't get any with ds, so perhaps I'm going to be lucky again.

The downside for me is that being pg seems to do nasty things to my metabolism. Put on loads of weight with ds - and three and a half years later have still not quite got rid of it all. This time I'd gained 7 lbs by the time I got a positive test which is a bit worrying as I'm already (post ds) on a maintenance level of about 1100-1200 KCals a day - that's just to stay the same not to lose any. So I can't really afford another dramatic metabolic downshift or I'll end up either huge or living on a permanent diet of salad.

Formes is another one which does some good quality (though not cheap) Meternity stuff. Or Tiffany Rose .

dramaqueen72 · 25/04/2005 09:49

george, have MANY great maternity sites, brace yourself!
sweetheart, oh no, dont ge that sinking feeling yet. keep your chin up, we just dont know until someone medical tells us its all over, and that hasnt happened has it? so we are STILL pg and doing well, do you have a scan date coming up? and m/s is over rated, trust me! my bf never gets m/s and has two gorgeous girls. i usually get m/s esp with my girls, but each pg is very different so who knows this time?
today i am 5+2. and not feeling sick but not feeling v healthy either!LOL abit, as my dh says, 'woozy'.
we walked six miles yesterday -sponsered dog walk!- and my hips are killing me today. i dont usually do anything like six miles! the dog is still sleeping as well LOL
I can now officially say my scan is next week!!!eek!

dramaqueen72 · 25/04/2005 09:50

forgot to say george have fab time for dhs b-day! dip toes in hot tub and feel great! you pg girl you!
oh yes formes v posh but lovely stuff, will link some more later too.

MINNIE1 · 25/04/2005 09:57

quick question, Does anyone wake at 4-5 o'clock starving?? I had to get up and to have a boiled egg this morning and the same friday morning.. Plese tell me i am normal!

goldenoldie · 25/04/2005 10:28

Starving all day till sickness kicks in - evening time. Had 3 sarnies already today - before 10am.

Avoiding the scales, and if anyone tells me I only need an extra tablespoon of food a day till the last trimester - I'll sit on them!

MrsWednesday · 25/04/2005 10:31

Another gate-crasher from June lurking to see how things were going for Sweetheart.

Minnie1, I am so pleased for you!!! Seeing your name on here brought a tear to my eye, you were so lovely and supportive to everyone on the TTC threads. All the very best of luck for the next few months.

Sweetheart, sorry you are feeling so stressed at the moment. It's completely understandable (I was the same after 2 m/c) but no nausea isn't a bad thing at all, honestly. It's impossible not to worry though - hope you manage to get an early scan to put your mind at rest.

Golds - great news on your blood test results!

Sorry for interrupting, will leave you all in peace now!

sweetheart · 25/04/2005 10:31

DQ thanks for the positive vibes!!! I'm sure everything is OK - it's just panic and nerves setting in.

I haven't got a scan date yet - 12 weeks scan should be the end of May. I've got a hospital appt on Wed and I'm hoping they will scan me then. I asked the mw and she said they might but we aven't heard anything either way yet so fingers crossed.

On the June thread we did a list of all the maternity sites we could think of - I'll try and find it and post it here.

Joining you with another BFP (why didn't I look on antenatal, thanks Nemo and everyone)
I think it will be December as last AF end March but my skirts are tight already and I feel that fluttery, sicky feeling and sweat a lot at night
V Excited!

sweetheart · 25/04/2005 13:08

Whats your due date Ninah???? I'll add you to the list.

And CONGRATS!!!!!

goldenoldie · 25/04/2005 15:30

ninah - night sweats, I get them too, I thought they were linked with menopause not pregnancy? Anyway, it got so bad one night I had to sleep on a towel cause my sweat has soaked the sheet.

golds · 25/04/2005 16:09

Afternoon everbody

I am totally exhausted, I put myself ages ago on the reserve list at school, if they were ever short of helpers and dinner ladies, got a call today, absolutely great fun but totally knackering running around a playground full of 4-7 year olds helping out taking Y2 kids to the local church tomorrow morning.

Also feeling quite on edge today as I can't find any Happy Hippos anywhere, I have been to 4 shops today and they have all sold out. I will have to send dh out to Tescos tonight.

My jeans are getting tighter and I am starting to look overweight - PG or Happy Hippos ???? I'm not sure. Other than my cravings annoying me, I'm fine and well.

sweetheart · 25/04/2005 16:10

lol!!!!

Withdrawal symptoms from Hungry Hippo's - now thats something I've never heard before

golds · 25/04/2005 16:14

There like pringles, once you start you cant stop, they have to be eaten in two's

sweetheart · 25/04/2005 16:15

ROFL!!!!!

Nice one golds!!!!
