Sorry about the rants today. Hope everyone's feeling a little more relaxed now the DCs are in bed and the heat's left the day (not too long for you TS).

And just at all the goal-post moving and excessive arse-covering re: formula. If/when we need to use formuala we'll just do what worked fine with DD (the same as everyone else), unless there's a specific reason not to. There's a balance to be struck between practicality and precautions, surely.

annvan All I can say about bf is that you need to remember that both the baby and the mother are learning how to do it. Even after your first baby, you might have more experience but that baby still hasn't done it before!

Having had a reasonable day I have just spent the last 11/4 hrs putting him back in bed and trying to get him to sleep . After refusing to go to bed, DC then refused to stay asleep. Why am I having another? Oh yes, because she is a girl and will be fully obedient, sleep through the night (at least 6 hours from 6 weeks) and generally be a complete angel at all times .

Had another dream that I had the baby in the small amount of sleep I did get last night... dreamt that I had the baby whilst all the MW in the area were on their lunch hour !
