Come on I can't be the ONLY one!!! I got my BFP this morning - I think I'm due around the 12th March...

No real symptoms yet other than slightly weary this afternoon, and quite bad backache.

Not too hopeful JUST yet as very early days and had a m/c last year. Already have a DD (2.5)

Don't leave me here on my own too long!!

Woolyjo So sorry Sending you virtual hugs and a kick up the arse for the NHS

SunshineSmith · 31/07/2008 21:34

How are you Woolyjo? As other girls suggested I would def got to A&E.

A big hug your way. x

woollyjo · 31/07/2008 21:40

Thanks for all your messages I really appreciate them, being so early on in the pregnancy we had told v few people.

Unfortunately Shropshire only has one Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit and I think only 2 ultrasound machines (separate to the maternity ultrasound dept) hence the wait.

twocutedarlings · 01/08/2008 09:14

Good Morning Girls

woolly how are you today? ((((hugs))))

auntyspan · 01/08/2008 09:31

morning... also had a bleed last night. I'm exactly eight weeks and I had a similar one when I had my first prg, but also worried as it's about this time I miscarried with my last pg. It's not fresh though... (sorry if tmi) so fingers crossed it's old.

Taken today off though (yet I'm still working albeit from home) and trying to stay positive.

What happens now Aunty? Do you go to the GP or hospital? Have you had your first scan already -- if not when is it due?

Will be devastated if anything happens to your bean - you started this thread! Am sure you're fine though.

Sending a squeeze your way.

Playingthe9monthwait · 01/08/2008 10:06

Aunty, hopefully it is just a bleed. Is it around the time you would normally expect your period? If so, its probably nothing to worry about. Maybe talk to your MW and see if you can get a scan? I am really hoping there is nothing wrong!

MavisGrind · 01/08/2008 11:14

woolyjo - how are you today? Thinking of you.
aunty - thinking of you too. Bleeds are frightening but not neccesarily all bad. Is there an EPU anywhere near you?

Still feeling crap here, still telling myself this is good

Really trying not to think about our flight home at the end of next week. 27 hours of travelling with a 2 yr old is no fun at the best of times but I would imagine it's horrendous with ms. Ah well, I've got a week for it to sort itself out.

Enjoy your Friday's everyone - nearly the weekend!

Boobz · 01/08/2008 11:36

I am imagine Woolyjo has gone -- after checking back in to receive initial sorrys, I don't think I would hang around an ante natal thread hearing about others' pregnancies. I could be wrong, but it would be too difficult for me.

I know it's pessimistic, and I'm not usually like this, but given the stats we are still due a few more mc's given the number of girls on this thread. Am petrifed I will be one of them.

Thinking of you Aunty - hoping it really is nothing to worry about.

Playingthe9monthwait · 01/08/2008 11:53

I think secretly we all are Boobz. You are right, statistically there will probably be more as well. I also really really hope its not me. I know that sounds selfish, as I hope its not anyone but if we are honest I think most of us probably think like that.

Hi fellow paranoids I told my mum and dad last night, and my friends this morning, so am terrified that I have jinxed my pregnancy totally. I'm still only just 7 weeks, so I know it is early, early days, but this stage just takes for ever. So I told people. They're just going to have to be very very nice to me if all goes wrong.

Aunty fingers crossed for you. As you say, not fresh blood should mean all is ok. Thinking of you. And hoping for the best for woolyjo as well.

MKG · 01/08/2008 13:31

good morning everyone.

Woolyjo I hope you are ok.

Aunty try not to worry, old blood is good. Also have you had sex? But are you rh -?, if so you may need a shot.

Personally I've been doing well. I've been letting too much time in between eating and my goodness, am I ravenous at meal time. The tiredness has also hit me like a truck. I could sleep through anything.

lollipopz · 01/08/2008 13:49

Hello everyone, hope we are all well. I just had an early scan (9 weeks)coz I was so paranoid about everything(and had a bizarre notion I was pregnant with twins). The baby was waving its arms around like a raver! Who knew something the size of an olive could rave? Really made my day, esp since feeling sick as a parrot and getting hairier by the day (am so sure it's a boy).Wishing everyone a nice weekend.

SunshineSmith · 01/08/2008 16:00

goh, i am shattered! I could sleep all day long!

auntyspan · 01/08/2008 16:03

Hello ladies - looks like you have me for a little while longer.... bleeding stopped this morning and after a very lazy day in front of crap TV I'm feeling much better and have no cramps or anything.

Have a scan booked for Tuesday, so fingers crossed

Sharing the probably very obvious revelation of a first timer... but when I started proper vomity morning sickness a few days ago it was really gross. For some reason I had this romantic notion that it wouldn't be that bad because it was baby-caused sick instead of ill sick. See now I've written that down it looks even more stupid than when I wrote it... hee hee

Hope everybody has a paranoia free day.

Boobz · 01/08/2008 16:06

That is good news Aunty - fingers and everthing else crossed!

Am starting to think I might get an early scan - I don't think I can wait another 2.5 weeks, I really don't.

I am craving wine by the way, unhelpfully.

SunshineSmith · 01/08/2008 16:08

Aunty, would you like to do the honours of starting March 09 part 2? x

auntyspan · 01/08/2008 17:01
