Come on I can't be the ONLY one!!! I got my BFP this morning - I think I'm due around the 12th March...

No real symptoms yet other than slightly weary this afternoon, and quite bad backache.

Not too hopeful JUST yet as very early days and had a m/c last year. Already have a DD (2.5)

Don't leave me here on my own too long!!

not sure what type of bleed it was MKG they never said, im sure that this must mean that its nothing really, she certainly didnt spend that long looking anyway .

Ive just had a look on the other thread and they have people on theres that are due the end of Jan, so surely this means we can LOL. I dont really want to leave here now after posting here for the last 4/5 weeks, feel like i know you lot now and at least here, i wont be the last to deliver .

calsworld this little bean could go either way, DD1 was a week late and DD2 was 5 days early .

Playingthe9monthwait · 30/07/2008 14:43

Cal, you might be right, no hope for me Started takign them before I got pg, as soon as I started trying so can't really blame my own reserves being low!! Obviously just no hope for me!

MKG · 30/07/2008 14:44

2cute, you just jinxed yourself with that one. You will no have the longest pregancy in human history.

twocutedarlings · 30/07/2008 14:53

NO!! Dont say that, i never thought LOL .

tell you what is odd!! the fact that im 10 weeks means that ive been having the sickness since i was just 2 week pg , by the way worked out what day i concieved and it was on our holiday in spain, do you think we should do a beckhams and call it Costa Brava LOL LOL

Mandy73 · 30/07/2008 16:03

Afternoon all,

Hope everyone's feeling OK. I just got back from a scan at Early PG Centre following brown spotting.

So relieved - not going through MC at this time. Straight away the technician found the sack (good size) and traces of a small bleeding - but nothing else. I was shaking. After lots of poking with the sensor from a different angle (external scan) she found the little bean, and a pulse! Jeeez, massive relief. The size is right for my week and I've just been told to go home and live as normal.

This experience has really reinforced how much we want this, how grateful we are and how frail life is.

PS: I could so do with a glass of wine but I won't

Playingthe9monthwait · 30/07/2008 16:15

So glad your scan went well Mandy!

HopingCat · 30/07/2008 16:16

Got my scan date now. It's 2nd Sept, which seems ages off. I'll be 12+6 then so will be desperate to see little one.

Glad all is ok Mandy. I had very similar experience with DD when I was 9 weeks pg, and again at 13 weeks, but they never found a reason for it. It frightened me though.

SpookyMadMummy · 30/07/2008 16:22

Glad scans went well

I had an episode today of feeling faint and shaky - and this was immediately after lunch!

We were out with the children so I got hubby to finish up what shopping he wanted for the pets and bring me home. I had 2 hours rest/sleep.

Its warm here today, I have to work later (self employed) and I really don't want to... I am drinking tons of water and tea!

I think I will be having an early night tonight.

Mandy73 · 30/07/2008 16:51

Many thanks girls. It's so valuable to be able to share here because we haven't really told anyone yet.

SpookyMadMummy you take it easy! I'm self employed too. Pros and cons, right?

Boobz · 30/07/2008 17:54

Gosh a lot has gone on since I left the house this morning!

Playing - I don't really want to tell my bosses about being pregnant until I've had my first scan and the all clear. Scan is a couple of weeks away yet, but you are right, I had already thought about telling them early to make sure I can't get edged out the way! Having said that my original plan was to not even get preggers until beginning of Sept as I get a year-end bonus in December and was worried they would cut it if they knew I was up the duff. Since work has been a bit shoddy anyway lately, am starting to think the bonus will just be smaller than hoped anyway (minimum 20% of salary) so am thinking it might be worth telling them after the scan that I am 12 weeks gone.

2Cute / Mandy am so happy that both your scans went well and that the beans are doing their beany thing. Can you see arms and legs or anything at this stage? Or just a dot with a heart beat noise? Have you got pictures to post? Oh and 2cute - talking about naming the kid after the place you conceived - I think I was in Vegas in a hotel called the Rio - what do you think of Rio for a girl?! Bit cheesy.

Cals - thanks for the advice on the oil - will get on to it and add to my ever increasing list of stuff to take.

Better take the hound for a walk. See you later.

Hey I'm so happy since coming back and being able to eat. Yeah. Now I'm exhausted and ready to fall down.

ceedub · 30/07/2008 19:17

Hi everyone,

Sorry for not posting for a while - have had mum to stay, which has been great but very busy. She's convinced I'm starting to show...not so sure myself, though when I breathe in, my stomach doesn't go nearly as far in as before...though that could be all the crisps

But is anyone else thinking they look a bit more 'rounded'?

Got my date for my scan - 21 August. Will have bloods then as well. I'll be 12.5 weeks. So exciting!

twocutedarlings · 30/07/2008 19:27

At least Rio is a bit more classy that Costa Brava LOL. But i really it for a girl, but you will change your mind a million time over the next 6/7 mths

SpookyMadMummy · 30/07/2008 19:37

twocutedarlings Yes, we will have 'met' on TTR, my Dd1 has ASD

twocutedarlings · 30/07/2008 19:47

I though it was you, are you sure your no me LOL

Hows your DD doing??

SpookyMadMummy · 30/07/2008 19:52

She is not too bad thanks, we had a holiday last week and you would not have guessed she had any sort of SN
The school are still faffing re. statement for her and the ed psych wants her in a specialist ASD unit.

twocutedarlings · 30/07/2008 20:04

Do you know my DD is just like that, when shes with us in familiar places, most of the time shes perfectly happy and almost NT . I take her to school and she transforms and is so typical AS its untrue zero eye contact ect ect.

We have had lots of problems to getting a statement because she is clever!! the fact that school creates so much stress for her is irrelivant (sp??). Thankfully she is now in a school that is very SEN focused (M/S with SN unit) and they are actually providing one to one for her for all her lessons from there own SEN budget.

Boobz · 31/07/2008 08:25

Morning! Just a quickie -- my appointments were scheduled thus: MW appointment on 14th, bloods 15th and scan 18th. I have just got a letter to say the MW has been moved to a week later to the 19th, the day after my scan.

Does this make any difference? I would have thought it would be better to speak to the MW before the scan, asking questions etc, rather than afterwards. Or does it really make no difference?
