Hi everyone,

Got a few bargains today! Mamas and papas had a 10% off day, so went a bit mad there (can print voucher from their website). Then back to sainsbury's for some hospital bag bargains. They've got 25% off all their clothes so got a nightdress, waffle style dressing gown, yoga pant style bottoms and two vest tops (with buttons for easy bf) for £22. So feeling very pleased with myself. So I can get all of those in the wash then think about packing my hospital bag sometime soon!

Anyway, shopping over, need to get lunch and crack on with studying. I'm easy on the thread titles, will log on later to see what's been chosen. Not many posts left on this thread though!

So many messages - and I have had so much fun catching up on them all. I love title no 3, but tbh could also be as the bumps get bigger the posts get funnier as well!

Love the La Senza stuff - good find. Did you see the maternity knickers with the funny slogans too? Shame that part of my bump that is made up of cream eggs and not baby would probably hang over the slogans!

I am also premanently boiling too. Quite normal apparently....

Enjoy your BH weekends ladies - wonder how many LO's will be here by the next May BH.

I just spent the afternoon going through all of DS's old clothes, sorting them by size, and am washing the newborn and 0-3 ones. It felt like a huge job and DS and DH didn't help by showing up to watch and then running through the piles I'd made (okay, just DS on the running bit). If I have a girl I'm going to have so many boy's clothes to give away!

Anyways, I got a bit teery looking at the newborn ones and realizing that DS was once that small. They're so teeny!

Hi Everyone

Had a lovely but tiring day here, lunch at Ikea, then to Germany to a baby shop to buy the rest of the stuff for my hospital bag, then to a big park with a picnic tea.

Enjoy the weekend everyone

Morning all, full house for breakfast this morning but no beds to do, weather overcast but warm but they are insisting that the heating is out on so sat here in the kitchen with all the windows open and feeling like I am entering a sauna everytime I go into the other side of the house.

Have a lovely holiday LL

Welcome Gem, I'm due on 7th June, with my 3rd boy, the other 2 are 8 and 6! Doesn't sound like an ideal situation with the Father of the baby, are your family supportive?

Hi Sophie - guests can be sooo inconsiderate can't they Enjoy your day

Relaxing (hah - sunday lunch to make, gardening, painting, washing) at home today!!

PearTart · 04/05/2008 09:18

Morning All and hello Gemma.

Neenz- any news...?

I didn't sleep well either, I HAVE A COLD! This shouldn't be allowed when one is with child. I can't breathe properly and have a sore throat. And DH says he needs to go into work today so I have sole responsibility for chasing and croaking at DD.

We unpacked some of her newborn stuff from spare room yday. She was delighted with her old car seat and had a great time putting big teddy in it and rocking it in a way that would not be good for a newborn and giggling. Now she thinks it's a great toy.

Deb- I also like No.3 for next thread- which reminds me the lawn needs mowing...things grow fast when you're not loooking.

xxgemmalou22xx · 04/05/2008 10:05

hi yer my family supportive but its still something im going to hav tto do myself one day when they aint about. am so tired got 3 hours sleep

poppy34 · 04/05/2008 10:12

hi gemma- welcome and sorry to hear about your dd's dad being a pain. If you want to chat about it We're happy to offer virtual tea and sympathy.

If you're looking for local people have you tried setting your profile for mumsnet local - I did that and showed up quite a few good local links.
also expecting a dd but about 3 weeks after you .

Re sleep - know what you mean - I'm fed up with being uncomfortable and not being able to walk very far so looking like an old lady... roll on end of June!

bitofadramaqueen · 04/05/2008 10:24

Morning all. We're getting perilously close to the end of the thread, so as there were a few votes for choice number 3 I've started it here.
