HazieAndBaby · 28/03/2008 21:25

Ah, nice and cheery review then dizzy! I so wanted that one too

dizzydixies · 28/03/2008 21:27

lol hazie have posted the reviews on both the matrix but the cup is the new one which didn't get slated - the matrix pro is the old model and its the one which is not rated at all

I'd suggest going and having a look at it, I loved mine with dd1, of course not too happy now read that review of it but will still use it as a lie flat instead of buying a carrycot as wouldn't be able to use it as a lie flat with the other two in the car anyway

in all honesty I loved mine, the whole pram/car seat and buggy of it but its a very personal thing and what suited me may not suit others

lovely name, is it a different spelling of Islay but same pn or am I wrong?!?

dizzydixies · 28/03/2008 21:28

Hazie I wouldn't take the review too much to heart on the matrix cup - it still looks good, wil go and see if I can find some other reviews on a couple of sites

HazieAndBaby · 28/03/2008 21:32

Aww, you're such a legend!

I thought her name would be pronounced like eye-la (if you get me!) but it's apparently ay-la like it's spelt. I thought it was Ella to begin with and got a bit panicky as I saw my fave girl's name 'Gabriella' slowly slipping away from me!!

dizzydixies · 28/03/2008 21:34

jane reviews

more reviews

last one!

dizzydixies · 28/03/2008 21:36

definately last one!!!

HazieAndBaby · 28/03/2008 21:37

Wow! Check you out with all yr reviews! I'm hopeless at finding anything on the internet. DH is going down to Kirkcaldy tomorrow to hopefully get us a new car and I spent about an hour trying to find a site that would tell me that it had the isofix thingy on the back seats! I did get there in the end though.

dizzydixies · 28/03/2008 21:39

lol, all the way to kirkcaldy for a car? what are you getting?

HazieAndBaby · 28/03/2008 21:43

A Golf TDI, hopefully! He managed to get a good price for our current car (an Audi TT - I know it's a bit poser-ish, but I think you need to own one impractical car in your life!) so thinks it's worth going down for! I'm dying to go too, but do a volunteering thing on alternate Saturdays and it falls tomorrow, he has no patience to wait until Sunday either! Men!

dizzydixies · 28/03/2008 21:45

over TT!! would wait till you get the car then head off to somewhere that has the jane in stock and have a look at it to see what you think of it then, make sure its compatible with the new motor!

you're not missing much not going to kirkcaldy lol

HazieAndBaby · 28/03/2008 21:48

lol not a fan then? Don't think I've ever been, phew! I've wanted him to get rid of the car since I got my BFP so that I could hurry up with the pram shopping! Oops, did I say he had a patience problem??

dizzydixies · 28/03/2008 21:50

its where my college is, I drive in, park, get what I need at college and leave so a bit unfair of me to judge it, though what I have seen of it doesn't really impress me!

HazieAndBaby · 28/03/2008 21:53

Well, if you're associating it with studying I don't blame you not being impressed!

dizzydixies · 28/03/2008 21:56

I'd use the word 'studying' sparingly dh read my latest assignment through for me tonight and his comment was 'its a little dry isn't it?' am not writing a fecking comedy here mate

HazieAndBaby · 28/03/2008 22:00

PMSL! So helpful aren't they? What are you 'studying'?

dizzydixies · 28/03/2008 22:03

am doing an HNC in Event Management, its a distance learning thing and I have to fund it myself as already have my degree but wanted to do something to wake up the old brain and then found out am pg again so trying to get a lot of it done before baby comes lol

right sweetie, have a look at the reviews and see what you think, if you need anymore help just shout - am off to bed as shattered (old mother of 2 fartitis its called)

will tell you all about my matty wedding outfit saga tomorrow

HazieAndBaby · 28/03/2008 22:07

Can't believe your brain still works!! Good on you doing that and having the 2 little ones as well.

I can't go to bed yet, Katie and Peter is on at 11pm and missed it yesterday! Sad I know, but have to keep up with the girls in the office! At least I have my reviews to kill time now!

Look forward to hearing all about it!

Take care, and night night!

TwilightSurfer · 29/03/2008 01:40

Katie and Peter are still on tv?????....They don't come on here anymore. I really got hooked on that show. I'm a reality tv addict unfortunately.

Well DH and I have had an exciting evening watching my belly dance. She must be remodeling or something because she was all over the place. I can tell she's getting bigger because her head is still on by left side but now her feet kicks are completely reaching my right side. She had some fist action going on too. DH freaked me out by asking how it feels.....mentally that just gave me a weird alien thought so I had to stop watching the action.

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend!!

SKYTVADDICT · 29/03/2008 10:21

TS - I saw the first movement last night too and DD1 felt it. Everyone had gone to bed by the time I saw the movement though so I didn't have anyone to share it with.

Shattered today as C has "required" a bottle to settle him in the middle of the night for 4 nights in a row and then he woke for the day at 5.30! He is back in the land of nod now but I have loads to do as I am going to work all day every day next week (have I already said that?) and really don't know how we will all cope!!!

Think he is teething - he only has 6 so far and a very sore bottom again.

TwilightSurfer · 29/03/2008 11:27

That's so cool SKY. So how many more are seeing movement?? Mine actually was active all night long. I know I woke at least four times to her bumping around. I had chocolate pudding after dinner so I'm wondering if that's what caused her to perk up.

But sorry about your DS SKY. Cutting teeth is such a disruption in their little lives. My DD lived on Motrin during her teeth growing days....she asks for it now anything she feels achey.

Rainy here today. I think we'll take DD to the pool later (indoor/heated). I'm also going to return a few items I purchased yesterday...buyer's guilt. DH had some business in town early so he's alreay gone whilst I still lay in my BIG bed, eating toast and drinking orange juice. What a plush life I have.

CaptainCaveman · 29/03/2008 13:50

Well the evening out was lovely - the only problem I find is that I get so uncomfortable sitting up after around 9pm, I just want to lie down!

Not seeing any movements here yet - still waiting....

OP posts:
cyteen · 29/03/2008 13:55

Not seeing anything here either (am nearly 19 weeks)...then again, I'm still not feeling anything I could honestly identify as movement.

Been out to look at a house this morning, it was rather cute. Would need loads of work doing in terms of decorating, and a new kitchen and bathroom at some point, but great layout and garden space. Not going anywhere for the rest of the day though, it's minging outside!

TwilightSurfer · 29/03/2008 14:22

TWENTY WEEKS

How silly I forgot to shout that earlier. I am officially 20 weeks today!!!

dizzydixies · 29/03/2008 15:56

SKYTVADDICT - poor ds - have you tried nelsons teething powders - they're wonderful!

cyteen - house sounds great, we bought ours like that, needing loads done, would sacrafice nice car/holiday etc and tighten belts, within a month of moving in I was pg with dd1 so it still needs LOADS done don't regret it though as we still love it

am feeling loads of movements but I think it will be a while before can see them through the protective layer I have dedicated to building up for my child by eating loads and avoiding the gym - am devoted mother me

so some of the stuff had ordered for the wedding turned up yest so waited till after girls had their bath before trying it on

was badly disappointed. this stuff was not cheap, was a credit card indulgence through panic over outfit for wedding and I thought it was terrible. A pair of trousers £80, they were such crap material you could see through them. Now I wouldn't pay 80 farking quid for a pair of trousers normally and certainly won't be doing it whilst pregnant unless they make me look like Angelina [humph] needless to say they've all been parcelled back up again and into the box for a swift return on Monday morning. Still have stuff from 2 more shops to come so fingers crossed otherwise I'll be going in my joggers

took girls to soft play thinking I could get some college work done whilst they ran riot. the place wasn't busy so that was brilliant, dd1 had 3 other girls rounded up like the pied piper and playing away, dd2 - PITA. am about demented with her and don't know quite what to do with her full stop but (sigh) thats a whole other behvaiour/development thread!

pissing down here too girls so hoping its nicer where you all are

cyteen · 29/03/2008 15:59

dizzy - that's rubbish about the clothes I hate it when stuff arrives and is totally not what you expected, it's such a let-down. When is the wedding you're going to?
