It’s about the level of chance you are happy with though Skylark. I felt like a total drama Queen telling the NIPT lady that my odds were 1:2300 but that I just wanted to put my mind at rest, but I’m glad I did it now.

So exciting that it's now second trimester and feels like it's going to fly by with Christmas coming up. I have a lot of birthdays November and December so feel like the next 2 months are going to fly by.

That's so exciting a few of yous re starting to feel little flutters for kicks. I've not felt anything yet but can't wait until I do.

Hope everyone's keeping well 💕

@Cuppasoupmonster I've been definitely feeling some flutters too, gave me intense memories of when I was carrying DS but didn't expect to feel it this soon.

I feel like it’s gone really quickly already! Probably just because DD keeps me busy, but it’s October and bubs will be here mid March 🤯 I think the next 2 months will fly by then January and February will be loooooong! I’m pleased I won’t have a newborn in the depths of winter though, nights must really drag if you do - I think we’ve timed it well so the days will get lighter in their first few months but it won’t be really hot.

I agree, I think the months will fly particularly over Xmas and once we don't feel sick anymore! 🤞😅
I think I'm going to go off from 32 or 34 weeks this time so that'll possibly be mid Feb or end of Feb, so hoping Jan and Feb don't drag too much.

@Cuppasoupmonster my DH doesn't think it's worth it to do the nipt because the results are basically the same as they were for DD which is a good sign, esp as I'm 2.5 years older now. I think I'll see how I'm feeling in the next few days but I just hope I can get that equilibrium back !

@Cuppasoupmonster It is the best time to be pregnant! Not too uncomfortable over Christmas but a lovely bump and hopefully in the glowing phase! I was the same last time, another April baby, and it was lovely having the spring to go for first walks and things. It also worked out that they were learning to walk the next year as the weather got nicer so it was lovely, rather than worrying about cold and muddy stumbling around!

Honestly everyone keeps saying to me what a lovely time it is to have a baby, I feel so lucky!

@AliceinSlumberland It really is! It also ties in with the whole Easter, spring, new life thing when all the flowers come back and the animals have their babies.

I have a gorgeous photo of me and a few days old DD under a cherry tree in full blossom.

Sorry I have been MIA since thread one! I have been SO sick for the past 6 weeks but moved onto new tablets which have changed my life! I feel so tired still but I can actually eat and enjoy life. How are you all? I have my 12w scan on Monday, I think I’m one of the last? EDD is 28/04 so I’m definitely not feeling movement or anything yet!

@AliceinSlumberland everyone says that to me too and it actually makes me so happy that it ended up happening for us when originally we felt April wasn't an ideal month 🙈 I think it's so nice to think about the weather being nicer to get out walking with a pram and enjoy the fresh air

@Theowlwhowasafraid what tablets are you on? I'm finding the ones they prescribed me do not work too well! 🫠

Agreed it is lovely, we tried to aim for April/May/June again as our DD is an April baby and the mornings getting lighter earlier make things easier, or that's how we felt anyway. I'd have really struggled in the depths of winter as I always get SAD in the darker months, a new baby on top of that would have not been well planned I don't think

Great to hear the meds are working! Which ones are you on? I’ve only been sick a couple of times this week, I’m 95% ok throughout the day then usually have a dodgy hour at dinner time where I feel sick but don’t usually throw up. And I’m only waking once at night (general insomnia) so huge improvement. Pregnancy sickness is the pits isn’t it! I think I’ll be on the promethazine for another few weeks at least.

Having an April baby feels really alien to me. All 3 of mine are within 3 weeks of one another in November 🙈

I'm hoping it'll make Nov fly by as we have our 20 week scan booked for 1st Dec ☺️

Had my screening reuslts through the post today, low risk for all which is a relief.

We are having a surprise this time round but I'm so impatient the waits gonna kill me.

I've always heard a spring baby is lovely and can really imagine so! DD is a September baby which was also nice as I love September, but it got cold quickly. I found having a newborn over winter nice though as it's a snuggly, cosy time and fits with the long hours of cuddles and feeding. But definitely excited to do it basically the opposite season this time!
And most of our babies will be Aries ♈ although some will be pisces 🐟 or Taurus ♉🐂! Aries is a bit of an outlier compared to what me, DD and DH are so hoping it brings a nice little spark to the dynamic 😂

I was just thinking isn’t it lovely that we’re documenting this all? 🥰 wish I’d done something like this all with my daughter to read back in future, I can’t remember a lot of the finer detail even though it was only a few years ago!

I’m videoing things and will upload to YouTube sometime so it encourages me to document lots more than I would usually :)

thank you for starting the new thread, and for all the activity in here.

Looks likely I will have a pisces ♓️ which will be an interesting mix with DD who is a Leo ♌️ through and through! She’s very confident and loves to be the centre of attention (like me Blush) DH is quiet but I wouldn’t say he’s emotionally in tune at all 😆

Is everyone in maternity wear already / obviously pregnant? My boobs are gigantic but I’m still in regular clothes (Although I wear comfy clothes so not super tight). I’m 13 weeks today. I’m also pretty much the same weight as normal too. Everyone is asking where my bump is! 😅

@Skylark1990 Taurus is fierce with a kind heart and steel backbone so defo my daughter 🤣 I think they will induce me as I’m older and babies get bigger abs send try be the norm. I’d rather not though ideally.
