Thought I’d start this as a follow up from the ‘TTC NOVEMBER 2021’ thread for everyone who got their BFPs! ☺️

@TH22 Hi sorry to be a pain, I scrolled back to every old Facebook link and unfortunately none of them work. Obviously when searching for the group on Facebook it's incognito.

Been very tired and hungry the last couple of days. Mostly napping and eating! Growing twins is hard :grin:

I'm 9 weeks Thursday, and had an appointment to take my weight/blood+wee samples etc at the weekend but not heard from anyone about an actual booking appointment yet. Apparently it'll be over the phone?

When did any of you have a booking appointment?

@starkid I believe the booking appointment is done in two parts: the first is what you describe - bloods and weight etc and then a detailed phone call from one of the midwives. I had my bloods and weight taken at 7+0 weeks and the phone call at 9+4. I won't see anyone again until 16 weeks. Does a twin pregnancy place you in the high risk group? If so you'll probably be seeing more of your midwife than us singletons. Have you been advised to get the flu jab? Totally agree on the tired front, now I've hit 12 weeks I feel like crap which is not what is supposed to happen! Ha x

@Caslo - yeah I'll be consultant-led due to twins and also medical history (I have ulcerative colitis, and have had my large intestine and rectum removed, anus sewn shut and a permanent stoma on my abdomen! ).
Ah ok I'm 9 weeks tomorrow so hopefully I get my booking appointment through soon.

@starkid Oh wow that's quite a medical history. Sounds like you've been through the mill. I was expecting some warning for my booking appointment but I was at the cinema when my phone rang and it was the midwife wanting to do it there and then. Obviously I explained I couldn't and she was very reasonable and asked me to call her when I was free later that afternoon. So you may also get no notice! x

Yes I've been through it haha, so pretty scared how it'll all pan out with the pregnancy and labour, not exactly any/many people to talk to about having twins with my medical issues!

Did anyone get a chance to post on the FB page to admin by any chance 🙏🙏🙏 without admin or someone helping me I doubt I'll ever gain access. I'd appreciate it if soemone can keep pestering someone to post the link or make the page public so I don't have to rely on sending messages here each week.

@Cmacq32 it has been mentioned will mention again now. I don’t think the group can probably be made public because a lot of people won’t have told family and friends yet!

@LT543 thank you for the update. The group could be set so that if you know it's name and want to join you can submit a request (rather then requiring a link) it can therfore remain private 'secret' but means that I could just submit to join and then once vetted admin can accept or decline me.
Would be much easier than the current system which clearly is a ball ache for everyone. Although I appreciate not many others would be joining now.

Is this a different group? I was part of the 'secret bees' August group but my Facebook was hacked and I lost the group when I rejoined. The previous group I had been messaging on ect and this seams completely different now?

I've lost my TH22 group login, hence the name change. No it's a different group that I set up...

Don’t worry, tiredness is all part and parcel of growing another little person 🥰

I won’t lie though, I’m feeling sorry for myself because since I hit 10.5 weeks, I’ve had the worst tiredness and headaches ever! Now 12+1 and still feeling pants 😅

How are you feeling now?

I'm 12 weeks and 1 day and I've extreme tiredness, nausea and the migraines are the worst ever had.

@CountryGirl189 hey, can I ask how your NIPT went with Iona and what your screening results with the nhs were, no worries if you don’t want to share but I’m due to have one tomorrow and so nervous! What’s it like? How long did it take to receive results? Wishing you the best with your pregnancy! I’m due august 22 ❤️

@Minimossy159 - all went well and the results came through a few days later! Much quicker than expected! 😊
