Thought I’d start this as a follow up from the ‘TTC NOVEMBER 2021’ thread for everyone who got their BFPs! ☺️

#Santiagosister I also don't really have any symptoms yet and I remember having sore boobs and fatigue by this point in my last pregnancy.

The only thing I've noticed so far this is is feeling really hungry all the time - even when I've not long eaten!

ajayelbee · 04/12/2021 12:39

Happy Saturday everyone!

I got a slightly lighter test this morning and freaked out a bit. But my BBT is still going up and tried to remind myself that at some point I won’t be getting anymore test progression!

In terms of symptoms I feel like I have the slightly odd uncommon ones, like a stuffy nose and nosebleeds. I’ve never had a nosebleed in my life before now!

@MeatyRvita oh I’m glad it’s not just my area having to wait that extra bit! I just wanna get going! Think I’ll definitely book an early scan, just to have some early reassurance.

SantiagoSister · 04/12/2021 14:35

Thanks for the reassurance all! I’m pleased that it seems quite common not to have many symptoms yet, I’ll try and relax a bit now lol

That’s a bit of a worry about your dress @mrsmw132! Hopefully you won’t be showing by then but I can see what you’re worrying, I’d be doing the same. Congratulations on getting married though, that’s so lovely 😊

Hi @chiatta, congrats on your bfp!

Sorry your test this morning worried you a bit @ajayelbee, maybe it’s time to stop testing now and worrying yourself unnecessarily? I’m not testing any more now as like you, I would be worried if something unexpected shows up. It just feels like absolutely everything is a worry doesn’t it, I really need to find some ways to manage my anxiety before it gets too much. I end up worrying that my worrying is harming the baby! 😂😩

Dani7 · 04/12/2021 18:29

Hi. Wasn’t on the TTC but was posting last month about my evap lines/chemical pregnancy and drove myself crazy with tests. Took the month off from trying and we only had sex once… turns out that was enough as just got my BFP! I am in shock!

KellyA25 · 04/12/2021 18:54

Hi everyone, I haven’t been on any previous groups but have done a digital test this morning and I’m 2-3 weeks pregnant (due 18th August I think) with my second. I’ve booked an early scan at the end of the month Smile

Dani7 · 04/12/2021 19:10

Just to add, it looks like I’m due 7th August 😀

Daisydolly1986 · 04/12/2021 19:30

I have had the faintest positive this morning. Due date 23rd August. Congratulations everyone

Have slept soooo badly. So shocked and excited still! Minor cramps and feeling queasy which I’m pretty sure is 95% in my head at this stage 🙈
Oh and the toddler who came to join us at 5am and is hogging the bed doesn’t help either!!

@SantiagoSister definitely time to stop testing. It won’t change the outcome, so I just need to try and relax about it! Have you tried the app headspace? It’s guided mindfulness and starts out with 10 minute sessions, which makes it easy to fit into a busy daily routine. I also used to use an app called mindshift CBT. I personally find CBT techniques extremely useful. Hope you’ve been having a lovely relaxing weekend. I’m going to a Christmas wreath making workshop with DH today so that will be a lovely way to focus on something else ☺️

I’m due 11th August! 🥰

Only symptoms I’ve really had so far are slightly tender boobs (as they would be before a period!) but they don’t hurt at night?! Only when I wake up!

I’ve also had the usual cramps and a stabbing pain in my pubic bone - which I’m slightly concerned about as when my mum was pregnant with me, her hormones went so high, her pelvic bone ended up splitting! 😧 So hoping this isn’t and early sign of that!

Also been craving tropical flavoured things, so at this point I’m convinced it’ll come out singing Moana 😂

Did have an awful dream last night that I miscarried - this is my biggest fear and I’ve feared it all my life! Not sure if it’s actually normal to have this much anxiety about it?!

@CountryGirl189 with my first I really craved tropical juices and pineapple juice

SantiagoSister · 05/12/2021 09:46

@ajayelbee glad you’re feeling a bit more positive about the testing situation today. I think we all know deep down what we need to do.. it’s just convincing our minds to try and stop worrying isn’t it! I haven’t tried Headspace, thanks for the recommendation, I’ll download that now. I’m willing to try anything to help get me through this! I think my anxiety was at its worst so far yesterday, I gave myself too much time to google and ended up feeling even more worried about everything. I’ve had a word with myself and I’m now banned from looking up pregnancy things on google!! I’m going to force myself to stick to it, and also make myself busier so that I don’t focus too intently on things. Your wreath making workshop literally sounds perfect 😍 what a lovely thing to do with DH and a great distraction for the day too. Hope you have a lovely time!

@CountryGirl189 that tickled me about your little Moana 😂 just to let you know I’ve had that dream also, it’s horrendous. I think it’s just the fear playing on our minds, it’s something we would all dread to happen as we want these little beans so badly. I feel like the queen of anxiety right now so I would say it’s probably very normal to worry about it, it’s something that’s beyond our control which I think doesn’t help either.

CountryGirl189 · 05/12/2021 09:56

@chiatta it’s so weird! Haven’t had a Lilt in about 10 years and the other day I almost cried at work because I wanted one so bad 😂

@SantiagoSister so horrible to have dreams like that isn’t it! I think it’s partly because my symptoms keep coming and going too and it really freaks me out! Especially the boobs! Everyone I know said their boobs were so painful and mine are barely tender and even that seems to be waning now!

Ahhh, hurry up 9 months! But at the same time I don’t want to wish it away!

SantiagoSister · 05/12/2021 10:03

@CountryGirl189 I know what you mean, that happened to me the first time round with my symptoms coming and going and it was completely normal, but it does make you worry at the time. At the moment, I have zero symptoms! Literally nothing, which also makes me worry. Definitely try your best to relax and enjoy things as much as you can, I would give anything to be able to have the naivety and joy of a first pregnancy all over again, it’s really magical.
