Hi all
I have only been in London for the morning and you lot have produced three pages for me to wade through!
Amani, Beller, I think Amani's mw is a bit out of date. Jaundice can happen if baby gets too much blood, but if you let the cord just finish its job the baby won't get too much. S/he will just get what they need. I am planning to leave mine as well, and try to breastfeed while still attached to help with natural delivery of the placenta.
MrsMcJnr, I can't be much more pregnant than you, I am one of the last on this thread in terms of due date (30 January), so I am only 30weeks today. I find cycling easier than walking as it does not bother my back and my bike carries my bag for me. But then, I am Dutch and have cycled since before I could walk . If I would not cycle, I would have to take the bus to town (which takes just as long) and then walk another 15mins to the station. Plus waiting for the bus.
I was in a fairly important meeting at the Home Office this morning when beanie decided to majorly distract me. One of his limbs was apparently stuck at the top of my bump, cue ten minutes of wriggling, pushing, squirming, until I suddenly felt an arm or leg sliding across the top of my bump and down across his body. In the silence that followed I could almost feel the contented sigh . It was hard not to laugh. After a few minutes of peace normal bouncing resumed which more or less allowed me to concentrate.
at folks meeting up. Does anyone live in Oxford?
