Hi, yes - 4th December, all going well! Still such early days but trying to be confident about it. This will be our first, how about you?

@Rebsy1991 Thank you, congrats to you too! As it's our first time then we have a lot of nerves and unknowns. Chemical pregnancies are a totally new concept to us, and I'm constantly trying not to worry that it'll happen to us. Do you mind sharing your experience at all?

Morning! Can I join you? According to online due date calculators I'm due December 1st. Its very early days so I was hesitant to join, but I think I need to chat about stuff as my head is swimming with no way to talk in real life!
I'm 41, so lots of scope for things to go wrong, so I'm still fingers crossed.
@Rebsy1991 - sorry about your chemical. I had one last year.
Anybody have any symptoms yet?
I feel deathly tired. Which I was feeling two days before testing. As soon as I got the BFP, dp and I had a lightbulb moment about the tiredness 😁 I am exhausted. Had to pull over when I was driving exhausted! Also feeling sick, but not been sick. Anyone else?

@KJJD In jan we werent really trying so wasnt tracking anything - so i didnt test until after a missed period, I knew something wasnt right as the test lines were very faint even on the 6 day early tests. I had very light brown spotting for a few days and then AF came. Im trying not to worry this time, the lines are strong and getting darker. The extra CM doesnt help as went to the toilet just to check my knickers 10 times yesterday just to make sure I wasnt bleeding!

I am sure everything will be perfect for you! Dont forget to me taking your vitamins and folic acid!

@ClaraBean Congrats! Welcome to the December club!
My symptoms have been tiredness and vivid dreams ive known each time im pregnant because of these, its one of my first signs. Ive had mild cramps too for a few days which i didnt have with the chemical so I am hoping its just the little bean getting comfortable!

No morning sickness for me, a felt sign with my first for a few weeks but was never sick so hoping I dodge the sickness again!

Ive tested early so not 4 weeks until sunday, AF due tomorrow so hoping to get past the weekend then i can relax a little!

@Rebsy1991 Thank you for the info. No spotting at all for me so hopefully wee one is ready to grow. @ClaraBean hi! Welcome to the club. It is nice to have an outlet to talk about things isn't it.
Symptomise wise, also deathly tired, and nearly constant indigestion. Continuous upper abdominal pain from about 10 mins after I eat for several hours 🙄 it's not a feeling I'd ever had before so it's what prompted testing. Also, I went to eat a yoghurt and was almost immediately repulsed by it. I never turn down food so that was distressing 😅

Report
ClaraBean · 26/03/2021 10:39

@KJJD - oh no! Did you eat the yogurt or was it binned immediately? I'm not looking forward to good related symptoms! Knowing my luck I'll crave cake and be enormous by December. I already bunged on a load of lockdown weight!!
I think dp will go insane if I don't find another outlet! I woke him up last night to show him a baby hat with rabbit ears (reminded me of Louise from Bobs Burger 😁). He was not impressed!

@Rebsy1991 ooh yeah vivid dreams. I put them down to the fact I'm reading The Stand. Maybe it was a symptom after all 🤣
Fingers crossed for an easy couple of days for you to get past af due date so you can relax!! And move on to the next date to aim for 😁

Are either of you booking in for a Harmony test?

Report
Rebsy1991 · 26/03/2021 11:32

@ClaraBean No I probably wont be getting a harmony test, unless anything comes back as high risk at the 12 week scan. I would probs then get a harmony to rule anything out.

They are very good and accurate so worth the money if you do want to do it. My cousin her baby came back as high risk for downs at the 12 week scan so got a harmony and came back that the baby didnt have it. Perfect and beautiful little girl now!

I will get a private 8 week scan just to put my mind at ease x

Hello @ButtonTum and @May2311
How is everybody doing this morning?
I've been up since 4am (dp fucked his back last night so his groaning woke me up and I can't get back to sleep) and have been feeling sick since before I even opened my eyes. Feel marginally better since a cup of tea but still pretty 🤢
I'm obsessively watching One Born Every Minute. Can't get dp to watch with me though.
How are all your dps? Are they reading/watching stuff with you? Dp is not which is frustrating but I guess there isn't much going on for him yet, except a knackered sicky wife 🤣

Report
May2311 · 27/03/2021 06:47

@ClaraBean oh no sorry your feeling sickly!! In my first pregnancy I sipped ginger ale ( usually about 2am 🙄) and ate dry crackers!

My DP is still on cloud nine boasting about his Olympic swimmers 🙈 It will probably be closer to the time DP will take more notice as they start to worry I think as it gets closer.

I suffered terribly with PGP last time & expected to this time but I already started feeling odd twinges in the night. Hubby thinks I'm imagining it as I know how bad it was last time 🙄

Xxx

KJJD · 27/03/2021 13:05

@ClaraBean hope you start feeling better soon! I can imagine it's frustrating having mismatched levels of interest with DP at this point. I think the fellas don't really understand, as they don't have the hormones going crazy to remind them what's happening. For them, their job is done and they are reminded of that in 36+ weeks, yet for us it affects almost every waking moment! He might also be a wee bit nervous. I'm constantly trying to remember that my husband has had absolutely zero interaction with babies, there's being none on the family and friends living too far away. For him it's a total unknown and therefore he's ignoring some things, out of both fear and ignorance!

Less nauseated today, but I did my first long run and was 30s per km slower than normal. Also awake in the night for a couple of hours and awake at 0600. That could be pregnancy, or our cockerel though 😅

Hi all,

I found out last week that I am due on 2/3 December. I already have a DD who will be 2 in December.
No symptoms really apart from cramps and hunger but knew I was pregnant almost straight away this month.
Looking forward to a happy and healthy 9 months for all of us.

I know! Hubby and I were saying that this morning. It will be lovely Christmas Day morning waking up and going downstairs with our eldest & the newborn ❤️ Plus the night feeds in front of the Christmas tree 🎄

Has anyone registered with GP/midwife yet? Even though it wasn't long ago I had my DD I still feel like I've forgotten everything 🤣 Currently researching "healthy eating during pregnancy" whilst I eat a Turkish delight bar! Xx

Hi everyone! Just got our BFP woohoo and should be due early Dec! My wife and I have a one year old and this is my first pregnancy as my wife had our first baby. We're so excited and really hoping all goes well! Is anyone feeling any nausea or morning sickness yet? I'm just a big more tired than usual and sore boobs but that's it. Congrats to everyone else on their positive tests!

Hi all can I join you? 2 really clear BFPs this afternoon on cheapie tests, AF not due for 2 days. Have felt sick as a dog all day which prompted me to test early.
It’s only our 2nd month trying for 1st DC.
Think I’d be due on 6th Dec.
Congratulations to you all!
