I know it will be very early for everyone. But I had a BFP this morning after chemicals the previous two months!

Estimated DD 5th December.. is anyone else due a december baby? xx

I got first positive today and due date (according to NHS calculator) is 26th December which funnily enough was my own due date. My one year old was born on Christmas Eve so I've really not planned this one right lol

Hi everyone, I hope you don't mind me joining so late. First baby due on the 5.12.2021.
I've been avoiding getting my hopes up due to an early miscarriage last time but an early reassurance scan on Monday has shown baby is the perfect size and has a heartbeat so I feel I can get excited about everything now.
Has anyone been experiencing extreme hunger. I'm not hungry all the time but when I am it is so bad and I need to eat straight away which is causing me to over eat.

Omg I’ve got the extreme hunger too! It suddenly comes over me and I feel that hungry you wouldn’t think I’d eaten in days! I can have a meal then an hour later be ravenous! God help the weight gain!

Glad I'm not the only one. Everything I've been reading or I've spoken to those who have had babies before have talked about morning sickness. Except slight nausea on and off, my main symptom is the hunger.

I’m the same, @Keelsm123! Ever so slight nausea, mostly in the mornings, but mostly insatiably hungry and I now have an incredible sense of smell.

Not really a hunger but I have "hangover belly" so have to eat most of the day otherwise I feel queasy!

Hey, I'm new here, found out I was pregnant last Saturday, can anyone shine some light into how far along I am, I had what I thought was a "period" on the 19th March, I came off the depo injection in January, on 17th April I got a positive with 1-2 on a clear blue, on 19th April I got a 2-3 which I know you add 2 weeks on, I went for a scan on 21st as a precaution as last pregnancy was a bumpy ride for sure and she seen a sac but nothing in it and she said I measure at 5 weeks, my hCG was 767 on 21st and I went back on Friday 23rd and they went up to 1587 which she was pleased with, she's booked a scan for me on Monday 3rd coming, will I be 6 weeks here or nah? I'm not really experienced in ovulation and tracking as I don't normally have periods with me being on the depo and haven't had a period in 4 years since I had my son, to be pregnant within 2 months of coming off it when doctors say it will take around a year, is a big shock, I don't have no pregnancy symptoms or anything just a positive test to go off x

@kaylx congrats! Going off your last period you should be 6 weeks this Friday give or take a few days depending on when you ovulated :) should be more accurate when you go back on Monday as they should be able to see little bean. I had a scan at 6+1 and you could see the fetus and a heart flicker by then! X

Hi @kaylx hope everything goes well with your 2nd scan, I agree it sounds like you are coming up to 6 weeks. I had a scan at 6+5 and could see my little bloblet and heartbeat.

I completely relate to the shock too, I had my mirena coil out in January expecting it would take at least 6 months for things to settle down. And then conceived 2nd month
Makes me grateful for having access to effective contraception until now haha!

Thanks, I actually took my last clear blue an hour ago and it finally came back at 3+ I've been worrying all day yesterday as it was still saying 2-3, I feel like a right idiot for worrying about getting a 3+ on a pregnancy test for so long even though I was measuring correct at the early scan, I'm praying Monday comes quick so I can see x

@kaylx I had a scan at exactly 6 weeks yesterday, and they could see the sacs which looked spot on for 6 weeks, but couldn't see a heartbeat. They said that was normal, and I have extensively Googled for about 24 hours now, and Google says the heartbeat should usually become detectable in the 6th week for external scans - but it's still panicked me.

They should definitely be able to see growth from last time, and you might be lucky enough to see a heartbeat (especially if they do an internal), but you might not if you're spot on 6 weeks.

I hope it comes quickly x

Yeah my scan will be internal so hopefully see something, it's such a wonderful time for me , no symptoms and growing something but such a worry when I've got no symptoms and you don't know how it's going in there x

@kaylx I feel you - I’m 5+2 and I’ve got no symptoms at all. I didn’t with my son before, and he was healthy! It’s just very hard not knowing what’s going on isn’t it?

Son, wouldn't have known I was pregnant if I didn't peel lemons and eat them🥴 tonight I've had some mild pains so hopefully baby's growing and I get to see something, I'm so impatient too so this isn't going well🤣

Just had an early scan this morning at 8w2d where I saw the heartbeat and measured 8w3d so pretty much spot on.

First time for me so have been soooo nervous waiting for this scan and was really feeling like it wasn't going to go well. Have very little in way of symptoms, no nausea (well, the teeniest tiniest bit of feeling queasy but at times I thought I was imagining it).

Officially due 29/30th December although actually hoping I can hold on for an extra week maybe.

@flowersatthecastle what's the December Facebook group just in case it's not one of anymore I've just requested to join?

Congratulations with your news!

I'm 8.5 weeks pregnant and at the moment the calculations say that the baby is due the 30th/31st December.

As I'm new to the experience, I was just wondering if any of you have any questions you think are important to ask during the first scan.

Also, I'm struggling with morning sickness and food aversion and anything that pressures my belly doesn't help at all. So my normal wardrobe is not great for me at the moment but neither some maternity leggings which cover the belly I thought I'd try... so any ideas on sort of trousers that could work/places in UK to get them? Thanks for your help!
