@vitaminb33 I had exactly that on and off to 8 weeks and get the tiniest 5 mins of it every now and again now. I think all normal stretchy stuff

Pancakes7 · 30/03/2021 22:09

@vitaminb33 Haha that might have been me 🙈 I love a crisp sandwich atm. Also a chip sandwich! I haven't had one recently but craving one now 😋

I've been quiet on here but reading.

Lovely scan photos for those that have had recent scans.

@vitaminb33 I've had stretching almost cramp like pains. I'm 12 weeks now. My nausea had disappeared so was quite worried but similar pains are normal according to my google search. I'm counting down to my nhs dating scan in 8 days. I'll be 13 weeks+5 days then. I'm
Just hoping there are still heart beats and both babies are ok (twins). Anxiety is rife!

vitaminb33 · 30/03/2021 22:54

Oh thank you @Strawberry08 and @smarty4 that's really reassuring, it's so easy to focus in on any worrying symptom - and I'm sure nausea going at 12 weeks is fine! Lots of people definitely have it improve before then.

@Pancakes7 yes it was you! Thanks again, I couldn't even stomach Cheerios, who knew bread and potatoes were the solution 😅

PumpkinEverything · 30/03/2021 23:36

Thanks for the good luck messages! Got out on two walks, had a nice shower, husband made dinner and then we sat and watched superstore. Currently sitting on the sofa with my stomach properly churning though trying to make myself get up and go to bed 😬 really hope I sleep tonight as even though I wasn’t consciously thinking about it last night I had a very unsettled sleep.

Pancakes7 · 31/03/2021 06:32

@PumpkinEverything thinking of you today. I know everything will be fine. I hope you got some sleep. ❤️

@PumpkinEverything good luck for today ♥️♥️

imisscoffee · 31/03/2021 08:10

Happy scan day @PumpkinEverything! Did you manage to sleep? I wasn't worried about mine yesterday but had the worst nights sleep and was just churning over it all night. What time is yours? Mines at 1030 but heading out to the woodland burial ground to visit my little boy on the way there to try and distract myself.

Firevie · 31/03/2021 08:12

@imisscoffee all the best for your scan hun xxx

PumpkinEverything · 31/03/2021 08:32

Thanks @Pancakes7 @Firevie
I’m so jealous yours is a bit earlier than mine @imisscoffee ! I think that’s a really nice thing for you to do this morning beforehand though. I had an absolutely awful sleep, just felt like I was tossing and turning all night. Have woke up this morning feeling like I might actually throw up all over myself because I’ve got so nervous. Mine is at 130 so still another bit to go and I think I’m going to struggle to eat and drink before that. I know I need to though because I know having food in me and being hydrated is better for blood tests.

Pancakes7 · 31/03/2021 08:35

@PumpkinEverything Oh no, it's horrible when you feel that anxious. Try toast with butter, it's easier to stomach. I'm living off that atm. Drink some water as like you said it helps with blood tests to be hydrated. Put a comedy on tv. ❤️

imisscoffee · 31/03/2021 08:38

Oh no! Be gentle with yourself this morning, drink whatever you can, if squash or pop is more palatable then go for that instead. I hope the morning goes quickly for you lovely xx

JRH4622 · 31/03/2021 08:56

I'm having a mini freak out this morning, I've woken up and my boobs don't hurt as much and I'm not as bloated! Not sure about nausea as that always comes later in the day! @PumpkinEverything I remember you saying that you had some symptoms lessen!
I'm 9wks today and haven't got this far before but its tipped me over the edge of calm today! Any advice?

JRH4622 · 31/03/2021 08:58

Good luck with your scans @imisscoffee and @PumpkinEverything cant wait to see your pics! xx

PumpkinEverything · 31/03/2021 09:03

@Pancakes7 I think that’s what I’m going to do, and if I can manage it/the weather is okay I’ll try and get out on a walk.
@imisscoffee yeah I definitely just need something in me! Also need to try and get a urine sample to bring with me so hope I don’t forget that 🙈

Thanks @JRH4622 it’s terrible isn’t it! Yep mine disappeared around the start of week 8, and haven’t really came back. I’ve had the odd bit of boob pain but definitely not daily anymore, and my bloat is on and off. That’s been the only real ‘symptoms’ but really the last few weeks I’ve just felt very normal! I had a scan at 8+6 and all was fine, so that was 6 days or so after my symptoms lessened/disappeared 😊

marplemead · 31/03/2021 09:05

Good luck for your scans this morning @imisscoffee and @PumpkinEverything ❤️

My dating scan is this evening at 7.15pm. I had one less than a week ago, so feeling less anxious this time as everything was fine 6 days ago.

JRH4622 · 31/03/2021 09:08

Thank you @PumpkinEverything good to know that you had a good scan after....Hope all goes well today for you!

JRH4622 · 31/03/2021 09:09

Good luck @marplemead exciting! Cant wait to see your pic! xx

Smurf123 · 31/03/2021 09:41

Good luck @PumpkinEverything and @imisscoffee for your scans!
@PumpkinEverything certainly not the healthiest but a can of lucozade original has worked at settling my nausea/ actually getting fluid in

MrsTD88 · 31/03/2021 11:02

@vitaminb33 I have had cramps on and off since the start, now 14+2. I think it is normal stretching.

@Firevie thank you, it does feel good to have it out in the open and not attempt to hide my growing bump.

Good luck to you all @PumpkinEverything @imisscoffee @marplemead looking forward to your updates.

@JRH4622 try and not worry too much about it, symptoms come and go quite frequently especially when the placenta starts to take over. I went days feeling fine and then suddenly I would feel crap again. My boobs starting to hurt again a few days ago and the nausea hit again... thought I was past that stage!

lamby12 · 31/03/2021 11:07

Hi ladies, good luck for your scans today and thanks for the reassurance about my bleeding.

I had a scan at EPU this morning and everything is fine despite the brown spotting continuing a bit. Still a baby with heart beat that has more than doubled since Friday?! I didn't need an internal scan so that was a relief to get the answers without the dilemma of having another internal.

Whilst the doctors and nurses said the previous internal scan couldn't have caused the bleeding it feels too coincidental to me. But a relief and I'm going to try and chill about now because I've spent the last few days in a terrible anxious state.

Chill until the next worry.....! I'm feeling super sick, bloated, windy, gripey tummy just everything unpleasant tummy wise. I suppose that's a good sign. X

PumpkinEverything · 31/03/2021 11:09

Good luck too @marplemead

Thanks for the recommendation @Smurf123 we don’t have any in the house but I’ll have a look and see if we have any sort of fizzy drink that might help
Have made myself eat a croissant and a pain au chocolat. I know they aren’t the most healthiest but we’ve not done the shopping yet so I’ve no bread to make toast and don’t really have much else that I feel like I can eat. No idea how I’m supposed to get a urine sample and have a full bladder 😬 I’ve had to go like 5 times already this morning so all the liquid I’m drinking is coming straight out again 😂🙈

Strawberry08 · 31/03/2021 11:14

Good luck everyone with scans today!!

@lamby12 wonderful news, so happy to hear everything is looking good

Pancakes7 · 31/03/2021 11:44
