So I don’t really know what I’m doing but trying to keep the bus moving after our BFPs. Don’t know about everyone else but I feel very anxious and worried about the whole thing. I really want to be happy and celebrate but can’t just yet

Thanks @OnNaturesCourse she's phoning next Tuesday so I'll chat to her then 🥰🥰

Did any of you experience any cramping? I've had light cramps all day today and it's freaking me out a bit xxx

OnNaturesCourse · 09/06/2020 14:30

I had unbelievable cramps around 3+5 right until 4+1 - it's all stopped now and I'm worried

Runnergirl1 · 09/06/2020 14:55

@TTCgee I get the odd cramp here and there but sometimes not sure if it’s just wind lol. I don’t really feel pregnant it’s all very surreal. I’ll be honest I keep doing tests to see if it’s still real and the lines are still progressing the one I did yesterday showed a very very strong test line compared to control line which was nice to see x

Haha @Runnergirl1 you sound like me. I have done 4 FR tests, one clear blue and about 10 IC ones since finding out 7 days ago.

I was a two test a day woman with my first pregnancy, right up until I got a scan at 9 weeks. Kinda figure I'm going to the same, if not worse, with this one!

How is everyone doing?

Hogrider · 10/06/2020 05:16

@Little11 That's so cute!! Love how you told him 😍

@TTCgee Congratulations! And welcome! I was super excited when I found out and my first thought was "my body works"...! 😆 As @Runnergirl1 says, every time you do anything that isn't sleeping you worry that you might hurt it somehow. Sneezing is definitely one of them! 😝 Trying to enjoy it and allow myself more breaks in the day, eat better etc. On the cramping point, I had cramps between 9 and 15 DPO which went away by themselves if I lay down for 5 minutes (thank god I'm working from home).

I've also done lots of tests, which I know is pointless because the hormone stays in your body for weeks even if the pregnancy is terminated. Still, there is something very satisfying with the line getting stronger on a First response or seeing the CB cross....

DAC21 · 10/06/2020 07:15

We only did extra tests the morning after finding out because it made us too anxious to sleep! But hoping maybe to do another CB digital a week later. Just don't want to pressure my wife into it (she is the one who is pregnant) because testing makes her really nervous.

Spoke to GP yesterday but they were not able to tell anything about how antenatal care is carried out at the moment. Can only hope that the midwife will be more knowledgeable!

Runnergirl1 · 10/06/2020 09:32

Haha you ladies make me feel like I’m not such a crazy ass so thanks for that. Hope everyone is doing well x

Defo makes me feel better you guys are all in the same boat! I honestly feel like I've made up that I'm pregnant! It's crazy. Trying to let myself feel excited and happy though because I guess we may aswell!

Yeah I'm 4+4 according to my app ... my cramps are very mild / sporadic but they still freak me out!!

I've only done the one test so far so maybe I'll do another tomorrow to make myself feel better! Although I'm almost too scared in case I just had a faulty positive yesterday 🙈

It seems sooooo long to wait for a scan too! Cray! Are any of you going to get a private one done earlier? Or will you all wait til 12 weeks? Xxx

Runnergirl1 · 10/06/2020 11:32

@TTCgee and so we should enjoy it. I’m waiting for my letter to come through the door about appointments I know they have booked me something in for the 9th July so that will make me 9weeks but I only know that as my doctors has an app which tells you appointments but like I say not sure what it’s for or whether it’s the first one over the phone but hopefully letter will confirm. I’m also hoping the letter will maybe explain further if partners are allowed to the 12week scan - if they aren’t then I’ll book a private one so he can come, I want to experience it together it’s not just my baby x

Can I join?
I got a very strong positive line last Friday despite being on the pill! Definitely a surprise addition to the family.
This will be baby number 2 for me and number 3 for my DP.

OnNaturesCourse · 10/06/2020 11:58

Welcome 😊 what a lovely surprise!

I've woke up feeling super emotional, and I've cried at the most ridiculous things already today like DD asking her Daddy to come and play.

I'm very achy today, my actual pelvic bone hurts as does my back and groin. Trying not to worry, but it's hard.

I'll definitely be getting a early scan but I'm torn between getting it at 6 weeks or 7 weeks. I'm not sure I can wait the extra week with how anxious I am, but I know they will be able to see more then and a 6 week scan could worry me if I don't measure where I should be.

DaffodilsAndDandelions · 10/06/2020 12:15

@OnNaturesCourse I know it's impossible but try not to worry. If you can wait until 7 weeks for a scan then you will be able to see more. Is there a reason for the early scan? I'd really like one although there is a good chance it won't be early as such as I don't know how far along I am!
Thought I felt movement the other day but could just be wind! And I haven't yet had any morning queasiness like I did with number 1.
I've got sciatica which is very hard to manage now that I've had to stop taking painkillers and cider! Just 🤞 I've not done baby any damage

OnNaturesCourse · 10/06/2020 12:23

I got a early scan with DC 1 at 9 weeks as just reassurance. But I'm getting a earlier one this time due to having a small bleed at 4 weeks and really bad cramps. Because I was only 4 weeks the EPU couldn't do anything, so I just want to check in on the bean especially as I'm still having discomfort.

OnNaturesCourse · 10/06/2020 12:24

How far along are you

DaffodilsAndDandelions · 10/06/2020 12:29

@OnNaturesCourse
I changed pill from Rigevedon to Femodene 3 months ago. My bleeding went a bit all over the place. The first period went in for nearly 4weeks with a few days off in the middle. Then I had a very light one and then nothing this time so tested. So could literally be anywhere up to around 14 weeks! 😬

Little11 · 10/06/2020 13:27

Ladies is anyone else absolutely shattered? I just can’t focus in work I’m so bloody tired. Also my boobs are massive and so sore and tender. I don’t remember it being this bad this early last time!!!!!

OnNaturesCourse · 10/06/2020 13:32

@little1 I have the tiredness, and slightly tender boobs but they aren't as bad as I remember them being with DC1 just yet.

I'm having bad cramps again so my anxiety is high and I don't know what to do.

TTCgee · 10/06/2020 13:39

@OnNaturesCourse can you speak to anyone about it?

I think the best advice I can think of is to just try and think positive until you have a real reason to not to 🤞 that's what I keep telling myself when I feel panicky.

In terms of scans, If my midwife says I won't get a scan until 12 weeks I think I'll probs pay for a private one at 8 weeks! Then it's only a month to go before I'd get to have some reassurance 🙏

I feel quite tired but no other real symptoms other than lots of watery CM and light cramps xxx

OnNaturesCourse · 10/06/2020 13:46

The water CM is crazy here too... And slightly pink. DP is here but he just goes "phone someone!" which doesn't really help... I think because of the earlier scare he is just as worried as me. He'd usually be my voice of reason.

DaffodilsAndDandelions · 10/06/2020 13:55

@Little11
I've had the tiredness too! Falling asleep just after I've put the boy to bed. Then waking up at 5am. Thought it might have been the painkillers (amytriptaline and later pregabalin) but have stopped those now and I still fell asleep at 8:30 last night during Scott and Bailey on Britbox. 😴
Boobs haven't changed yet although I suspect they will. I looked like Betty boop last time for a couple of weeks until things settled down.

Hogrider · 11/06/2020 05:02

@DaffodilsAndDandelions Congratulations and welcome! How are you feeling?

Movers arrived yesterday and accidentally found my stash of pregnancy tests... he took one look at me and shut the drawer again. Now they are packed in one of them many brown boxes so no chance I'll be testing again for the next couple of days until I find them again at the other end!

Hogrider · 11/06/2020 05:03

@OnNaturesCourse I have watery CM too, lots of it!!! 😬 It makes me think AF came, so I run into the loo to check, only to realise what it is, again! Not sure if that helps you in any way... Apparently it's very common.
