So I don’t really know what I’m doing but trying to keep the bus moving after our BFPs. Don’t know about everyone else but I feel very anxious and worried about the whole thing. I really want to be happy and celebrate but can’t just yet

@Sydgal22 good progression there! Fab!! Xxx

Bear127 · 17/06/2020 07:07

@Sunshine1984 Yes it’s fine to take the conception vitamins until they run out. It says it’s safe on the leaflet inside too. I’ve just run out of them so I start my pregnancy ones today 😊

Sunshine1984 · 17/06/2020 07:22

@Sydgal22 Fantastic. Congrats on the darker line! Hope that puts your mind at ease a little. I only have 1 test left so going to order a couple more and try not to test today! Haha.

@Bear127 Oh great - thank you! I must remember to get better at reading things again now!

Sydgal22 · 17/06/2020 07:39

Thanks @sushine1984! Also got the attached so now doubts now ha!

Went to the doc today she said they don’t do bloods under 4 weeks exactly after start of last period even tho I have short cycles 🙄 so have to wait til Saturday! I’m really going to have to learn some patients, we’re in this for the long game lol

Morning ladies

Had a horrible gut feeling something was wrong yesterday but took an IC this morning and the line appears to have gotten lighter from yesterday and I ended up having a full blown panic attack

Really hoping since I tested with a new 'batch' of tests there just may be the colour difference but very doubtful and cramping now so I think horrible AF may be approaching 😭

kwastell · 17/06/2020 09:32

@Mococo1 so sorry to hear you had a panic attack.

I am feeling similar. My lines aren't getting significantly darker, and they're quite inconsistent, some light, some mid strength. No dark lines that I would expect at 4 weeks +6 days. Hoping I ovulated or implanted late.

I've read a few hopeful stories in various forums so am clinging on to those.

TheGirlWhoLived · 17/06/2020 09:54

Sorry to hear lines arent getting darker, @Mococo1 the signs of a successful pregnancy and an unsuccessful one are so similar so there will be cramping as the bean burrows in - sending positive vibes to you!

@Sydgal22 that’s a definite line progression, congrats!

@kwastell it’s tricky because depending on how concentrated your urine is, the lines get lighter and darker so it could be because your weeing more as you have got more pregnant then you will be diluting it more iyswim?

Going to do a meal plan today and write down everything that I can eat from my new diabetic cookbook. Looks like some yummy dishes even if low on carbs!

Woke up with a sicky feeling this morning so really hope this one sticks firmly!

TheGirlWhoLived · 17/06/2020 09:57

6+5 today. Obviously already named said child, no looking too far ahead for me Grin

TheGirlWhoLived · 17/06/2020 10:15

Sorry another one from me: just received my booking in appoinment through the post for 9th July - so it looks like ours will be face to face! Had the screening tests booklet so this’ll include blood tests etc all in one go, will be 9+6 by then

kwastell · 17/06/2020 12:11

@TheGirlWhoLived I'm definitely weeing a lot more 😂 I used to be able to hold it all day. Now I have to go every hour or so.

kwastell · 17/06/2020 12:12

@TheGirlWhoLived I've got a face to face booking appointment too. I was surprised.

Mococo1 · 17/06/2020 12:33

Thanks @kwastell- never had a panic attack before and DH got really concerned- seems my anxiety is through the roof atm but we had a good chat realised I'm not over the MC as it was barely 2months ago.

I've held my urine this morning and managed to get the same result as yday so it's calmed my nerves a bit. Given DH the IC as this baby is taking me on an emotional rollercoaster

@thegirlwholived @kwastell whereabouts are you based?i would love a face to face booking appt x

TheGirlWhoLived · 17/06/2020 13:29

I’m in Worcester, about an hour south of Birmingham- really glad for the face to face, I was definitely expecting a phone appointment!

Roseandrose20 · 17/06/2020 13:37

I got details of my face to fave booking appointment, I am in Surrey

bluebubbles12 · 17/06/2020 13:57

Hello everyone! I hope you don't mind me joining, but I got my BFP this morning! 11DPO and AF was due today.

I've not had chance to read through the whole thread, but I'll do my best to keep on top of it now!

Congratulations to everyone, I hope you're all well x

kwastell · 17/06/2020 14:40

@Mococo1 I think once you've had a miscarriage it's hard not to worry. I had no problems in my first pregnancy and didn't really give it a second thought. Which is really what I should do now as there's nothing I can change or control, but easier said than done!

kwastell · 17/06/2020 14:41

@Mococo1 I'm in Manchester

kwastell · 17/06/2020 14:41

Congratulations @bluebubbles12 🥳

Mococo1 · 17/06/2020 14:44

Maybe In London I'll get a face to face booking appt! But virus situation is much worse here! I Have an appt with the doc on Monday but I'm sure that's just fairly standard: don't smoke don't drink over phone. Nurse did mention she wanted doc to speak to me but not sure what they can really say tbh! X

bluebubbles12 · 17/06/2020 16:27

@kwastell thank you!

What has everyone done about telling their gp? I've read online that you can call as soon as you get your BFP, but I feel like I might jinx it by calling early 😕 going by the first day of my last period, I'm 4+1 (and was due AF today).

Bear127 · 17/06/2020 17:36

@bluebubbles12 congratulations! 🎉
I rang my GP when I was 4+2 and was given the number for the community midwives’ office instead so I registered with them 😊

Bear127 · 17/06/2020 17:38

I think it’s also useful to have any pregnancies on record even if something happens and there’s no baby at the end of it. At least there’ll be a record and you will be better supported with access to tests and scans earlier the next time x

Mococo1 · 17/06/2020 17:50

@bluebubbles12 congrats!

I rang my gp yesterday and have an appointment for next week where the gp will say: take vitamins and avoid certain foods. I know il be asked to go online and self refer to the hospital (but receptionist said I could do it myself now) and they will then get in touch with me at about 9 weeks I think x
