So I don’t really know what I’m doing but trying to keep the bus moving after our BFPs. Don’t know about everyone else but I feel very anxious and worried about the whole thing. I really want to be happy and celebrate but can’t just yet

@bear127 yeah defo you're right- with my MC I was referred through my GP to the EPU so they have that all on file!

bluebubbles12 · 17/06/2020 17:53

Thanks @Bear127 and @Mococo1. I think I'll phone tomorrow and see what they say. I was thinking the same that if anything bad does happen, at least it will be on my record then.

OnNaturesCourse · 17/06/2020 19:04

I'm 5 weeks, and about 4 days, I've still not spoken to my GP, midwife or booked my early scan privately. I'm petrified of jinxing it. I've told myself if I get to 6 weeks then I'll get the ball moving.

Little11 · 17/06/2020 19:54

Hi @OnNaturesCourse I think I’m just a day behind you and I’ve not spoken to GP or midwife or booked and early scan either. I keep telling myself “I’ll get to 7 weeks and then do it” but feel like time is going so slowly!

Sydgal22 · 17/06/2020 22:00

@Mococo1 sorry to hear you’ve been having a tough time. I hope you’re ok, it’s so so hard not to worry isn’t it :(

@OnNaturesCourse @Little11 you guys have some patience I literally couldn’t wait to see my doc and I’ll only be 4 weeks tomorrow 😂 I guess I’m just super excited and staying positive that all will be well.

I’ve got pretty bad lower tummy cramps tho and still a stitch like side pain, anyone else crampy? That and tiredness and a bit of nausea are my only symptoms at the moment

RiverRoo · 17/06/2020 22:20

@Sydgal22 I had some AF like cramps and a weird feeling on the left side of my waist between 4 and 5 weeks but these have subsided now (I'm 6 weeks today). I've read a few posts of similar experiences at 4ish weeks so I think it's totally normal!!

Sydgal22 · 17/06/2020 22:46

@RiverRoo that’s good to hear thanks! Interestingly I had a really mild stitch pain in my right side which was an indication I thought I might be pregnant, it’s intensified and I mentioned to the doc but she’s not worried that it’s an eptopic or anything like that, I guess aches and pains are just part and parcel of it!

Mrsi2020 · 17/06/2020 23:51

Hi, how’s everyone getting on?

My tests are getting lighter 😓 so I’m waiting to tomorrow to do a frer again to check but I imagine af is around the corner! This wait is torture! Xx

Sydgal22 · 18/06/2020 04:41

@Mrsi2020 oh no :( maybe don’t do anymore tests if it’s stressing you? It seems like there can be such a variety depending on pee and everything like that. When are you due for period? Have you seen the doc?
I took that positive digital one yesterday and I’m not gonna test again now, what will be will be!

TTCgee · 18/06/2020 07:31

@Sydgal22 I'm the same as you! I tested the day before my period and rang the doc that same day ! 😂🙈 because this is my first I just felt the need to speak to someone who knows what they're on about to calm me!

I'm 5+5 today and still a bundle of nerves! I had some cramping / stitch like feelings in my left side but midwife seemed to think it sounded very normal so that's calmed me a little - I was terrified of ectopic! Got my bloods etc on Monday so hopefully that will tell me more too!

I've booked in for a 9 week private scan in 3 weeks as it just felt too long to wait the full 12 weeks!

All I have is slightly sore nipples but I haven't felt sick at all yet which I was expecting to feel (as both my mum and sister were) just keep trying to remind myself everyone is different and keep as calm as I can

How is everyone else doing? Is anyone else feeling sick yet? / booking in for an early scan? xxx

Sydgal22 · 18/06/2020 07:54

@TTCgee sounds quite similar to me! Glad I’m not the only one with a stitch like feeling! My boobs are barely sore have had random aches in them once or twice. My two best friends are also pregnant and all three of us have had diff symptoms so that makes me feel better!

However I’m not even four weeks til Saturday and Im very tired and already have waves of nauseous and actually dry retched this morn :/ feels very early for that, maybe it’s twins lol! I’ve been referred for a scan at 7 weeks :)

I’ve calmed down a bit since Monday but still so so anxious!

Mococo1 · 18/06/2020 08:14

@mrsi2020 hope you're okay? All I can say is urine made a diff to my tests and so did a new batch of tests because of dyes, stopped testing now for my sanity

Barely any symptoms here! less oily skin I think my sense of smell has slightly increased but that's it. No nausea/sickness nothing. With mc I had all the symptoms by now plus my skin went from oily to DRY in a matter of a day so praying that everything is ok down there/ symptoms will kick in later!

Hope all you ladies are okay! Xxx😘

TTCgee · 18/06/2020 08:49

@Sydgal22 I'm starting to realise it must be quite normal to feel this anxious! I think it's just because you want it so much don't you!

I'm trying to keep calm and not google as much but I definitely freak myself out about something at least once a day 😂😂

Also, we had sex for the first time since we found out yesterday and I was so scared the whole time that we would do something to harm the pregnancy... I think I'll feel better after a scan! Just got to keep thinking positive and hoping for the best but I suppose being aware that something could happen and trying to prepare a bit for that too! It's a real roller coaster xxx

OnNaturesCourse · 18/06/2020 09:29

My nausea has kicked up a notch today, I feel like my stomach is swishing even after picking at some dry toast. 🤢

Its still not passed after being awake for 2 hours so I'm writing the morning off and have got DC1 in my bed watching cartoons with snacks. Anything for peace while I try to convince my stomach we aren't on a boat.

My test line this morning was lighter but I suspect it was because last night I was up and down peeing all night so maybe wasn't as concentrated as usual. I hope anyway.

I'm 5+6 today from my LMP - all going well I will contact midwife tomorrow and book a scan for 7 weeks.

How is everyone else this morning? Anyone else dealing with symptoms and small snack monsters?

TheGirlWhoLived · 18/06/2020 09:38

I have no appetite, it’s the smells that have me gagging! I can smell rotten veg in the fridge but I’ve cleared out EVERYTHING and it’s still there - it must be me Envy

OnNaturesCourse · 18/06/2020 10:50

Oh the smells 🤢 the dishwasher smell caught me last night and I was retching. I was the same when pregnant with DC1, i couldn't even open the dishwasher when it was empty as I was convinced it still smelt.

I had mild HG last time and I'm really hoping it doesn't come back this time.

Sunshine1984 · 18/06/2020 12:22

Welcome @bluebubbles12 Congratulations ❤️

Barely any symptoms here but the line has got darker so I’m relying on that for reassurance and trying to enjoy not feeling sick yet!

Mococo1 · 18/06/2020 12:24

Same barely any symptoms but nipples are sore every now and again! Just book a booking appt for 3 weeks time and it's over telephone- quite shocked as I filled out the paperwork 2 days ago x

TheGirlWhoLived · 18/06/2020 13:28

Talk about things moving fast, I have the date for my 12 week scan already! 23rd July, so excited and nervous at the same time Confused

Hi girls,

I have had nausea, vomitted a few times amd not even 5 weeks yet. Its the smells, meat particularly 🤢 i was the same with my daughter.

Are you all paying for scans at 7 weeks?

Will people find out what they are having? We found out at 16 weeks with my daughter as had to have genetic testing due to high risk of down syndrome, so found out then. I like the idea of a surprise this time but not sure if i will actually be able to stick to it 😂😂

Sunshine1984 · 18/06/2020 23:45

I will definitely get an early scan. I did at 8 weeks with my daughter but I might go earlier this time!

We didn’t find out before and I really liked having a surprise but DH would have preferred to know so I think it’s only fair to let him choose this time. I’m secretly hoping he’ll opt for the surprise because he knows that’s what I’d prefer and it’s what we did last time!

OkyDoke · 19/06/2020 07:03

Morning all, got a line this morning! A very faint one but it's there! I'm 31 and this will be my second baby. Due 24th I think!

Sydgal22 · 19/06/2020 07:25

@sjones2588 I’ll been very nauseous too and I’m only 4 weeks :/ have been retching. It’s my first so nothing to compare it to!

I’ll be getting an early scan at 7 weeks but it’s standard here. Holding out for it ha! I always thought I wouldn’t find out but judging how impatient I’ve been about finding out if I’m pregnant I think I’ll want to find out! My OH kind of wants to know so I think we will 🥰

Sunshine1984 · 19/06/2020 07:34

Congratulations @OkyDoke 🥰

Just woken up and POAS again! Clear blue 1-2 weeks. I’m going to have to stop doing that or it will become a very expensive habit!

Today’s the day, I’m telling DH. It’s his birthday. Card & test ready as a gift. It’s been a long 5 days keeping it to myself!
