So I don’t really know what I’m doing but trying to keep the bus moving after our BFPs. Don’t know about everyone else but I feel very anxious and worried about the whole thing. I really want to be happy and celebrate but can’t just yet

Anyone else feeling sick yet? I got a BFP on 5th June but don't know how far along I am. Trying to work it out from symptoms based on my last pregnancy. I speak to the midwife today for a booking appt and hoping to get an early date for my 1st Scan.
Hope everybody's beans are settling in nicely to their new home x

Mrsi2020 · 16/06/2020 10:59

Thanks everyone! @sydgal22 I think everyone should have 6-8 week checks! Well have a private scan at 7 weeks all being well! !

@Mamajones89 I’m due 22nd feb and thought I was only three weeks +4 😱 I hope I’m wrong lmao!

This is today’s tests on the bottom, I’d have liked them to be darker. I’m so nervous xx

@TheGirlWhoLived lol! I have 2 kids from a previous marriage and dh has one. So between us we have 3 kids here so this will hopf be #4!!! Lol xx

kwastell · 16/06/2020 11:34

Congratulations on the new BFPs - so exciting!

Does anyone have any recommendations for companies to get early reassurance scans with? I'm in Manchester, UK.

Sydgal22 · 16/06/2020 11:35

@mrsi2020 your CD 24 and 25 were the exact same as mine. How does it compare to your previous pregnancies? I’ve literally never had a positive pregnancy test before I’m like 😳😳😳 so anxious! Hoping when I get bloods done tomorrow they’ll come back quickly!

Mococo1 · 16/06/2020 11:52

Yes please recommendations on coMpanies really want a reassurance scan before the 12week one and I know I could go to epu due to previous MC but really want DH to be able to see the little bean too x

Mococo1 · 16/06/2020 11:53

Does anyone know if there's a massive difference between pregnacare normal and max? The price difference is crazy!!!

Mamajones89 · 16/06/2020 12:05

@TheGirlWhoLived I know, bigger gap this time as my kids will be 7&9 by the time this one arrives!

@Mrsi2020 I was due on 13th (4weeks) but tested on the 12th, the test I put up was from yesterday.

I am worried though as other than cramping and feeling a bit nauseous on Friday I have had zero symptoms (maybe a bit more tired/waking) with my other pregnancies I’ve always been really sick. I know I should be glad but it’s a worry x

TheGirlWhoLived · 16/06/2020 12:34

Ah 4# @Mrsi2020 Love a busy house! I’ve got a bigger gap here, ours will be 10 and 6 so oldest is really excited. I’ve told my parents and siblings so far, andy girls- all are very happy Smile I haven’t heard anything about early scans, will I get one as I’ve had a previous MMC?

TheGirlWhoLived · 16/06/2020 12:36

@Mococo1 I think the difference is just the omega’s? I got pregnacare normal in the Tesco 3 for 2 so 90 tablets for £9 which I’m happy with!

TheGirlWhoLived · 16/06/2020 12:36

Forgot to say I also take omega 3 and 6 in another supplement, so didn’t really need them again

OnNaturesCourse · 16/06/2020 14:14

Hey ladies

How are you all working our you due dates?

All my apps say different, and the NHS calculator does too.

I ovulated 21st/22nd May - got my peak mid day on the 21st and it dwindled away to high on 22nd AM and low on PM, nothing on the 23rd.

My last AF started the 9th.

Cycles are anywhere from 26 - 30 days, sometimes longer.

Mococo1 · 16/06/2020 14:40

@thegirlwholived that's what I would rather do as opposed to £20 a month on the pregnacare max! Might see the vitamin content breakdown and see if I can make it up some other way! X

Mococo1 · 16/06/2020 14:42

@onnaturescourse I just did last period and fully guesstimated my DD from NHS website..I'm assuming once I go for scans they will give me a proper one as no clue if my cycle was going to be 29days or 33days all I know is I started off with the faintest of faint!

DaffodilsAndDandelions · 16/06/2020 14:54

I've just had my booking part 1 and the lady I spoke to used my last period date and her wheel. Puts me at 6+1, due date 7th Feb.

Bear127 · 16/06/2020 17:40

@Sydgal22 congratulations again! 🎉

@Mrsi2020 @Mamajones89 congratulations! Welcome to the grad bus 💕

Bear127 · 16/06/2020 17:47

@Mrsi2020 how many DPO were you on your first test?

@kwastell I’m also around Manchester so would like some recommendations! Where abouts are you based? I’ve seen a few that Facebook friends have used but I don’t want to ask them 😬

@OnNaturesCourse I used my ovulation date because I didn’t ovulate until CD27 !! Compared to most people’s CD14/15 so I didn’t want my scans to be super early based on the date of my last period 😕 I know I’ll get a more accurate due date at the dating scan so I think I’ve made the right choice for me... I think! X

Mrsi2020 · 16/06/2020 18:06

@Sydgal22 I’m nervous too! I wish I could go for bloods! Hope you get yours back quickly xx

@TheGirlWhoLived we’re not telling anyone until 12 week scan all being well, kids here are 10,7&4 lol xx

Mrsi2020 · 16/06/2020 18:07

@Bear127 I don’t know as I wasn’t tracking! I’m guessing 9/10dpo.

Girls be v careful with vitamins. Doctor told me only to take pregnacare absolutely nothing else. Lots of vitamins have vitamin a which is dangerous for preg I think. Xx

@Bear127 I'm in the city centre. How about you?

Bear127 · 16/06/2020 21:44

@Mrsi2020 Yes too much vitamin A (retinol) can cause miscarriage or severe complications during pregnancy. Most multivits don’t contain it anyway but always best to check. A lot of acne medications contain high levels of retinol which could also be bad, as well as retinol serums and creams in skincare. I stopped using retinols in my skincare when ttc as a precaution.

@unluckyducky I’m thinking Window To The Womb too, I’ve heard good things.

@kwastell I absolutely love being in Manchester. We live in Bolton now but I’m from around Salford and we lived in the city centre too for a few years.

Sunshine1984 · 16/06/2020 21:54

Hi ladies.
Congratulations to the newcomers today! How exciting!
Vitamin wise, I was going to finish the conception pregancare ones first - does anyone know if that’s ok to do? I still have a whole packet left. This is baby #2 for me and I feel like I’ve forgotten everything!
Also, DH’s birthday is Friday so I’m holding out telling him until then. It’s soooo hard! I have literally told nobody other than you guys that I’m pregnant! It feels so surreal!
My DD is 22nd Feb (based on last period) but realistically probably March based on ovulation.
I felt a bit sick today - but I don’t know whether it was heightened more due to thinking about it! Trying not to overthink everything! Hope you’re all ok x

Sydgal22 · 16/06/2020 22:24

Morning ladies! Well took another test this morning after holding my wee ALL night lol and happy to see a darker positive 🎉 I then went to take my CB digital and it came up with an error 🤦‍♀️😂 anyone ever had that before?! I’m going to go out and try and get another one I think. I’ve kept my fmu in a cup how long does it last does anyone know?
Symptoms wise feeling better today, Altho the cramping is now like a stitch in one side :/ hopefully nothing scary! The boob aching is gone, I kind of feel like I want symptoms ha! Altho I’m still only 12 DPO. Such a rollercoaster this haha! Hope you’re all feeling well
