Hope things going well for you @peetieswie.

Good luck @josiejo1990 and @Magpiefeather hopefully things start progressing.

I've just come back into hospital, had propess in for 24 hrs, contractions started at 12 and getting steadily stronger hoping it continues so I don't need the drip and can still have a water birth

Had contractions for hours and then stopped, started again, and stopped again. Hoping it kicks off again later and baby arrives tonight.

@Cornishbumpkin hope all is progressing well for you! I had the propess inserted at 6AM this morning. I been getting regular tightenings and just waiting for the real contractions to start etc. How long did it take for you for things to kick off?

@Magpie21 I had it put in at 11.45 yesterday and didn't have anything until 12pm today unfortunately. Seem to have slowed down a bit now though annoyingly

does anyone have any experience with ROA position? wondering if this is why I'm getting start stop contractions and no idea how long to expect this prodromal phase to last...

@Bikbikmum I'm 40+13! Have a very stubborn little boy that just doesn't want to come out lol

Still pregnant over here. How’s everyone else getting on today?

I’m 41+1 today, which was the gestation my first kid arrived at. I was hoping sibling rivalry would make this one want to beat his sister’s record but apparently not! Have had loads of false starts but the contractions always ease off. Come on come on come on baby!

Still pregnant too. only a couple mild contractions overnight and even the plug coming away seems to have slowed to a near stop...sigh....40+2

gosh I was just lying down and felt an almighty kick or pop and when I stood up there was a trickle but now theres nothing?! this baby is really keeping me guessing! going to wait and see for a bit because I only just got tested for waters on thursday and I dont want to look crazy

Thankyou! theres been a bit more so I'm pretty sure now. going in to get checked about 8pm if I dont need to go in sooner

@josiejo1990 when my waters went I felt and heard a big pop! My waters flooding out like in the films though so there was no second guessing it! It sounds very promising for you though 😃 good luck when you go in at 8!

@chocolate26 that's what happened to me with my last pregnancy there was defo no mistaking that one! x

well guys that was crazy...contractions started very sporadically about an hour after waters went. went in to hosp 8pm as planned fully expecting to be 1-2cm and get sent home....6-7cm!! was 3rd in line for epidural and when anaesthetist finally arrived she got called away on an emergency. felt like crying at that point ended up having my boy with just gas and air at 23.52. his name is Beau and he was 8lbs 9.5oz. couple minor tears stitched up. staying overnight but cannot sleep just keep staring at my beautiful boy ❤
