Hey! Just wanted to start up a thread because I couldn’t find another one, just got my BFP today after about 6 months of trying. Due date is 1st august! Still feeling nervous as I’ve had 2 miscarriages in the past but both before 6 weeks, so ill be keeping my fingers crossed and wont let myself get too excited until that deadline has passed!

Hope to hear from other ladies due at the same time, and hear your BFP stories :) xx

That's great news @Frazzlerock!

It's my birthday today and Im working but directly before leaving the house I had my head down the loo Sad

MaisieMolly · 27/12/2019 12:40

Lovely news @Frazzlerock so pleased for you!

Jojo19834 · 27/12/2019 16:27

Woohoooooo @Frazzlerock that’s amazing news, so pleased. Positive vibes to baby from now onwards!

Sjacey · 27/12/2019 17:40

@Frazzlerock such lovely news ! Xx

Polly1116 · 27/12/2019 17:58

Such good news @Frazzlerock, so happy for you.
Everything’s still ok with baby, measuring at 8 weeks 4 days which puts my due date to 3rd August which was the same due date as my youngest, though he didn’t arrive until 11th August, hoping this one arrives on a different day so they don’t share birthdays 🙈😂

Early scan booked for 9th of Jan at my local EPAS. I will be 9+6 there and it's the earliest they can squeeze me in 3 days after my booking appointment. I'm unsure wether to go private for earlier or not don't want to be rushed away if it's bad news as they only get 15 mins per person.

CharlotteCx · 27/12/2019 18:42

Hi ladies. I was at the EPU on Thursday as I had done a cheapie internet pg test & it was fainter than the ones I had done all week (I don't no if I had drowned the test 🙈) but anyway, the nurse done a pg test and was a dark positive again. I requested a beta HCG as I convinced myself I was having a chemical pregnancy. The dr said he doesn't think I need one as not in any pain or bleeding, but still had it. I was 13dpo on my first HCG test and that come back at 125.6 and then went back 46 hours later and it had gone up to 217, so a gynae called me and said she'd like me to go for a early scan Monday just gone to rule out ectopic. As I expected they couldn't see anything as far to early as I had only just missed my AF on the Saturday. They said my tubes were clear and no blood was leaking from them etc which is good news but got to go back at 6 weeks for another scan. Going from my dates was 4 weeks + 4 but the scan lady said she'd say around 4 weeks. I am really concerned I have tried to shut off over Christmas but am scared it's not a viable pregnancy. The gyno said they like to see a 66% increase and mine increased by 72.8% but then another nurse said they like to see it double so am being told different things. Had a phone call Monday after my scan to say my uterine lining was 11.8mm so that is good, and to keep an eye on any bleeding or bad pain etc which I haven't had. Boobs are on and off sore, they've been like this since 2DPO! started to feel sicky in the evening since yesterday at 5 weeks. And extremely tired. Does anyone else have any similar story's?

Tink12345 · 27/12/2019 19:35

😍😍 Strong heart beat. Measuring 7+3 which is only a day less then I thought. Everything looking okay!

Jojo19834 · 27/12/2019 19:39

Beautiful @tink12345

girlygirl98 · 27/12/2019 19:55

Had some peace on the spotting front for about a week now. Then tonight red when I wiped. I should be 8 weeks. Not sure if I should ring epau tomorrow. I've already been twice

Tink12345 · 27/12/2019 20:48

@Frazzlerock So glad all is well with you! Hope we both sleep slightly easier tonight

Frazzlerock · 27/12/2019 21:19

Thanks all!
@tink12345 what a superb picture!
This is our rubbish pic. What we actually saw was way more like yours. We could see the head and belly and everything. Fuck knows why she took this photo 😂
And yes, we can both get a restful night's sleep tonight (well except for the pregnancy insomnia of course)

I'm going to be scanned again in two weeks, then again at 12 weeks, then again at 16, but she said I can be scanned any time I'm worried.

I asked if it was too early to hear the heartbeat. Consultant said that there is equipment that enables that, and some private companies use it, but it generates too much heat which isn't good for such a tiny baby.
I thought it might be useful info for anyone hoping to hear the heartbeat at an early scan

Anyone due August 2020?
Frazzlerock · 27/12/2019 21:33

Happy birthday @PandaPink
Have you had a lovely day?

I would probably book a private scan if you can't wait

Frazzlerock · 27/12/2019 21:36

@girlygirl98 ring the EPU, that's what they're there for. Hopefully all is well. I think we've all had bleeding of varying degrees here xx

girlygirl98 · 27/12/2019 21:42

@Frazzlerock thanks. Congrats on your scan. I think I'll see if it gets worse. I remember having some breakthrough bleeding with my daughter for the first three months after my period was due and my period would be due today so hopefully that's all it is

PandaPink · 27/12/2019 22:30

Thanks @Frazzlerock my day has been okay, just chilled tonight after work, been nauseous all day. Glad everyone's scans are going well! I am 8 weeks today!

Firstmummytobe · 28/12/2019 09:01

Then scan pictures are amazing congratulations everybody!!!😍😍 I’m counting down the days til the 20th January for my 12 week scan as hopefully we will be able to see a proper babe coming along by then🥰 my nausea has started to die down a little an boons aren’t as sore but like 2 rocks 😂 how is every body today? Hope you all had a lovely Christmas xxx

Tink12345 · 28/12/2019 10:08

@frazzlerock sounds like they are looking after you well. Reassuring that you are being closely monitored.

I want to tell the world now but think I am jumping the gun 😬 Had weird labour dreams last night (for the 2hours I did manage to sleep!) So shattered today but seeing family later. Think I will probably blurt it out!

Nellie3 · 28/12/2019 10:52

Congrats to everyone that's had scans, they look amazing! I've told more people than I would have liked to, mainly because of all the social events over Christmas and not drinking. I'm going away to a couple of nights for new year with my friends who will work it out straight away, don't know if I'll see midnight though 😅. A few days I was worried my symptoms were going, I didn't need to worry as they are back even stronger now, feeling nauseous from the moment I get up and lasting all day 😷.

Has anyone had their booking appointment yet? Mines on Monday xxx

Frazzlerock · 28/12/2019 13:32

I've also told more people than I'd like but they're all the people who will know if we miscarry so they may as well know

Like you @Nellie3 my symptoms come and go. Boobs stopped hurting for about a week following my bleed (so obviously panicked) but then they started again with shooting pains too!
Now they're not painful at all today and I'm worrying again, despite having such a positive scan yesterday. I've also had a day of stress, so another thing to worry about 🙄

My booking in is on Friday. Feels weird going again as I was only there in November last year. Hopefully I'll get to stick around this time 😊 I feel like saying to just copy everything from last year as it's all the same, but I doubt they will. It's the longest most boring appointment ever! But at least it's another milestone ticked

girlygirl98 · 28/12/2019 14:45

@Nellie3 yes I've had mine. It took about 50 minutes and she couldn't get any blood samples so I need to go to the hospital. Got referred to w consultant as well as I had precipitous labour first time around

Jojo19834 · 28/12/2019 17:31

@girlygirl98 you very nearly answered my question, so they take bloods at the booking in? Mines a home visit, do we think this will be the same?

Macbless · 28/12/2019 17:34

I feel like we have told a lot of people too. It makes me feel quite anxious but I agree that we'd be wanting their support if it did all go wrong. Yesterday some of the people we told were asking about the colour of the nursery etc and I just felt like I needed to bring them back to reality. We're only at 8+5 and there is so long to go. But then I also feel like I'm being negative! It's trying to get the right balance.

I've got my midwife appointment on Thursday so agree that's another step on and a box ticked. Looking forward to knowing when the 12 week scan will be. @girlygirl98 annoying that they couldn't get your bloods. I hope they can get mine. It's hard with work trying to go to the appointments without anyone being suspicious. I work full time I'm just saying I have a hospital appointment but then I'm not sure what to say about the scan. Has anyone got any advice? Xx

girlygirl98 · 28/12/2019 17:42

I haven't told work yet either. I'm going to just keep saying hospital appointments or tests. They are going to get suspicious of me I think though. Don't want to say until after results of 12 week scan. Can't remember how long it took last time plus you don't always have it bang on 12 weeks. My booking appointment was last Wednesday but not had scan date through yet

girlygirl98 · 28/12/2019 17:46

@Jojo19834 midwife tried at mine but it was in surgery. Might be different for a home visit but yes they will want to do blood tests
