Hey! Just wanted to start up a thread because I couldn’t find another one, just got my BFP today after about 6 months of trying. Due date is 1st august! Still feeling nervous as I’ve had 2 miscarriages in the past but both before 6 weeks, so ill be keeping my fingers crossed and wont let myself get too excited until that deadline has passed!

Hope to hear from other ladies due at the same time, and hear your BFP stories :) xx

@jojo19834 very slight nausea for the last week, then nothing the last 2 days. Slight ache / cramps around 4 weeks. Sore boobs but seem to be less now. That’s all. Worrying that things have subsided, hopefully over analysing.

Babykent2019 · 23/12/2019 17:02

@Polly1116 I'm exactly the same but mine was a light bleed a week ago, I can't get into the doctors until the 30th though and I can't self refer for a scan. Haven't had anything since and tests are still positive. Hope all goes well for you hun x

girlygirl98 · 23/12/2019 17:14

Scan this morning. Was a bit scary at first. I was supposed to be 7+3 based on them measuring me 5+3 two weeks ago and by ovulation. At first she said she couldn't see clearly and asked me if I had a tilted womb ( I don't) which scared me because I'd been fine with abdominal scans with my daughter. Tried internal and saw the heartbeat but measured 6+6. She said she had seen the hb abdominally but wasn't sure if it was a blood vessel. She didn't seem concerned about the measurements then had a good poke about trying to find my ovaries ( very sore now!). Trying to be positive about the measurements and happy there was a heartbeat

FriedasCarLoad · 23/12/2019 23:32

@BabyB19
I'm queasy and tired already, and feeling cold a lot... But I'm still so over the moon to be pregnant that I don't really mind!

@blackpinkinyourarea
Wow that's some good growing! Maybe this is going to be a child who's taller than their mother before they reach double figures!

@MaisieMolly @Nellie3 @Jojo19834
In my first pregnancy the nausea came and went. It worried me too, but that little baby is now a healthy toddler. It's hard not to worry though.

Jojo19834 · 23/12/2019 23:58

Thanks @friedascarload good to know, plus there are 3 of us currently experiencing the same so I’m staying positive. Those odds are far too high for it to be a negative sign

Girlinglasses · 24/12/2019 00:15

@Jojo19834 @FriedasCarLoad yes that does ease my mind a bit- and I don't think I'm completely symptomless, just definitely less nauseous. I was on antibiotics all last wee and finished now so also wondering if that has something to do with it! Going to try and stop analysing every little thing and be positive 😁

Tink12345 · 24/12/2019 08:05

My nausea comes and goes. Hopefully stays away tomorrow when I am cooking christmas dinner for my OH. This romantic christmas away seemed such a good idea without morning sickness factored in 🤣 I don't want to be shouting out instructions for him 😬

FriedasCarLoad · 24/12/2019 08:24

@Girlinglasses. The typo made me giggle... After all, wees can sometimes seem to last a long time in pregnancy Grin

Firstmummytobe · 24/12/2019 09:38

Ladies I wouldn’t be worrying about not being nauseous I would be over the moon, I feel sick from the minute I get out bed to the second I go to sleep it’s awful and nothing seems to be helping, vomited quite a lot the past few days aswell I would honestly be made up not to be sick every day😂😂😂😩😩

BabyB19 · 24/12/2019 12:01

@FriedasCarLoad I am the same I welcome any cramp or nausea just to know that everything is ok in there! I'm currently only 5 weeks and wondering what to do tomorrow with the not drinking as my family will be on the Buck's Fizz to the wine with lunch and cocktails through the rest of the day, there's no avoiding that I'm not drinking and as they know I had a MMC this year they are expecting me to pregnant again soon so don't think there's anyway I can hide it! What will you be doing?

Polly1116 · 24/12/2019 12:05

So I had a scan and baby is fine! Measuring 8 weeks with a strong heartbeatbeat, I have some bruising next to where baby is which is where the bleeding has come from. I cannot tell you how happy I am. Xxx

Macbless · 24/12/2019 12:13

@Polly1116 that's great news.

@Firstmummytobe sorry to hear you are so sick- it must be horrible. I've just got mild nausea and a bit of reflux that comes and goes and that is definitely enough for me.

We had a scan last night. Measuring 8+4 but I think I was 8wks exactly and I guess it's early days. Lovely to see the heart beat.

When I saw the midwife HCA and was talking about feeling a bit anxious she just reassured me and said that trying to be positive/relaxed about things you can't control is really important. I know that must be so hard if you've had a mmc or Mc before but hopefully Christmas will be a good distraction. And we're all here to support xx

Girlinglasses · 24/12/2019 13:04

@FriedasCarLoad I didn't even notice that- what's funnier is I was on antibiotics for a UTI so literally for my wees 😂

blackpinkinyourarea · 24/12/2019 14:56

@polly1116 thats fantastic news im so pleased for you!!

I finally told my mum last Friday and she was over the moon! My sister still doesnt know but i am going to give her the scan picture tomorrow whilst we are exchanging gifts Xmas Smile

FriedasCarLoad · 24/12/2019 20:16

Sadly I’m miscarrying my baby. So that’s it from me on this thread. Very best of luck to all of you and wishing you every happiness with your lovely babies.

BabyB19 · 24/12/2019 20:30

So sorry to hear that @FriedasCarLoad I'm afraid I think I'm going the same way 😓 what a Christmas hey. I hope you're doing ok ❤️

Jojo19834 · 24/12/2019 21:48

@FriedasCarLoad @BabyB19 here’s hoping you are both wrong. Can only imagine what you are both going through x

BabyB19 · 24/12/2019 22:06

Thank you @Jojo19834 mine isn't definite yet I am just keeping an eye on things and have to test every 48 hours to check my levels unless I have something that more resembles a MC, good luck with your journey, hopefully we're wrong and we'll still be around to follow it 🥰

Amber2097 · 24/12/2019 22:13

Hi everyone!

Congratulations on your pregnancies!

I'm 22 and found out I was pregnant 3 weeks ago. We wasn't planning on keeping but have decided we want this!

My due date is 11/08/2020. Having the worst morning sickness and cramps as well as mood swings. Had to come off fluoxetine for depression so not having the best of times :(

Just wanted to speak to other expecting mummies instead of my uneducated OH! Xxxx

Girlinglasses · 24/12/2019 23:16

@FriedasCarLoad I'm so sorry to hear that, I know how difficult it is- take care of yourself and make sure to take the time you need.
@BabyB19 sending you lots of positive vibes and hoping things go more positively in the next few days!

@Amber2097 welcome- I'm sure you've had a tumultuous few weeks, it must have been very difficult, but hopefully you'll be able to start to feel excited now that you've made a decision. It can't be easy to come of medication suddenly, make sure you are getting OH to take care of you as best he can! And you can ask any question you like here / just have a big rant if you need to!

I went on my first "night out" last night without people knowing. It's wasn't too bad initially- the bar had a non alcoholic gin and then bar tender made me "g&ts" for the night so I got away with it. Unfortunately, 5 fake g&ts did not sit well with my dodgy tummy so I was up at about 4am vomiting 😂 it was worse than a hangover!!!

Wishing you all a very happy and hopeful Christmas tomorrow, I hope Santa comes x

Jojo19834 · 25/12/2019 07:04

Merry Christmas all, hope we can all enjoy as much yummy food as our tummy’s can handle!

@Girlinglasses that doesn’t sound fun! But I’m guessing you pulled off the secret so well done, not long until we don’t have to hide it from the world. All my family know so I don’t have to do a lot of hiding these couple of days thankfully. Would be hard if I did as I am the worst liar!

Dollywilde · 25/12/2019 08:38

Merry Christmas all! Santa kindly bought me my very first proper bout of morning sickness Envy Grin lucky me...

girlygirl98 · 25/12/2019 08:57

Morning everyone. Anyone else getting stressed out by the combination of Christmas and pregnancy with regard to weight gain? Normally I enjoy Christmas and then go on a strict diet after. I've already put 3.6 pound on and my bum was already just over 25z I just can't resist all this food!

Firstmummytobe · 25/12/2019 09:48

Merry Christmas everybody!!! My first present was a toilet full of sick then followed by a huge bought of diarrhoea, I’m sure I’ve caught this Norovirus form the care home I work in so a day in bed for Christmas Day for me😂😂😂 hope everybody has an amazing day ❤️

MaisieMolly · 25/12/2019 09:58

Merry Christmas everyone.

I think I might be out Sad

At 7 weeks all my symptom have stopped. Completely. Just waiting for the bleeding now I think Sad what a horrible Christmas gift.
