Hey! Just wanted to start up a thread because I couldn’t find another one, just got my BFP today after about 6 months of trying. Due date is 1st august! Still feeling nervous as I’ve had 2 miscarriages in the past but both before 6 weeks, so ill be keeping my fingers crossed and wont let myself get too excited until that deadline has passed!

Hope to hear from other ladies due at the same time, and hear your BFP stories :) xx

Hey everyone! Been abit quiet as I’m litterally dying with nausea, I’m not throwing up but just feel like I want too 24/7 ever since I turned 6 weeks on Thursday it just hit me ! It’s torcherous.

How lovely ! @LanieM87 I’m 6+2 today too! Smile

I have a private scan booked for the 29th December and I’ll be 7+3 so hopefully get to see a heartbeat also been booked in for 12 week scan on 3rd of feb I received it by letter but still haven’t heard from midwife or have an appointment to see her which is weird I’m going to have to call them Monday morning.

So sorry to hear that some of your journeys are over wishing you all the best sending hugs and lots of baby dust your way

22Ash22 · 21/12/2019 18:08

So, I had my private scan yesterday and was told I have not one but TWO healthy babies!! Shocked was an understatement that’s for sure!!

Anyone due August 2020?
NamiSwan · 21/12/2019 18:25

Wow @22ash22! 😮 How are you feeling about twins??

FriedasCarLoad · 21/12/2019 18:40

@22Ash22. Congratulations! Will they be your first (and second!)?

Sjacey · 21/12/2019 19:44

@22Ash22 omg !!!! How exciting, how do you feel about that? X

2CatsAndABaby · 21/12/2019 21:37

Hey everyone, been lurking for a while but think I'll finally join in. Due date is 10th August, not confirmed.

I found out I was pregnant around 2 weeks ago now, it'll be our 2nd child.

@Sjacey I've been unbelievably nauseous since Wednesday. So so painful, but since Wednesday night I've not been able to hold anything down. Stupidly went this long before doing something about it. Spent half the day in hospital, and told I'm severely dehydrated (I kind of realised when I couldn't even squeeze a few drops of urine for a sample Grin). But I've been on a drip and given anti sickness meds. Back home and feeling a little better now, but still that slight sickly feeling. My first pregnancy went so well, so I was not prepared for any of this. I just hope this is the worst of it and it gets better from here.

Congrats on those with beautiful scan pictures, and @22Ash22 congrats on the twins!

Sunny866 · 21/12/2019 22:29

Jumping on the bandwagon. Found out I’m due end of August 2020. Every day between 1-6pm I get a dull backache and the odd stomach cramp here and there. Still can’t believe there’s something growing in there!

22Ash22 · 21/12/2019 22:31

@NamiSwan & @Sjacey to be honest I’m still in absolute shock. It really feels like a dream. I’ve gotten over the fact everything will be twice as hard and am now happy. I’ve been blessed with two little babies to love. My partners parents and my family are all over the moon about it too so that’s been lovely.
@FriedasCarLoad these are my first and second yes 😂 at least with having twins first I’ll know no different and have nothing to compare it too!
X

So I’ve woke up this morning to spotting. I know it happens to a lot of people, but I’ve had 2 miscarriages before and 2 healthy pregnancies. I never had any spotting in my healthy pregnancies so I’m pretty sure this one isn’t viable. Absolutely heartbroken, I feel like there’s no way we’ll try again now because this is the 2nd miscarriage in a row and I’ve already got two beautiful boys so to put myself through this again would be too much. 😔

jennielm · 22/12/2019 09:24

@Polly1116 Ian so sorry for you, having to worry like this and the torture of waiting to find out either way is awful, I know. I have everything crossed for you and all the other mamas out there who are waiting to see. SadFlowers

As for me, I’m 5+6 and still peeing on cheapy sticks every morning. The line comes up good and fast, which I reassuring, but I know I should stop. Think my early 7 week scan a week tomorrow will be my cut of off. I there’s a healthy, happy little bean in there, then I will have to try and start believing it. GrinGrinGrin

Babykent2019 · 22/12/2019 09:38

@Polly1116 about a week ago I had a light bleed for one day , no pain, no clots then it stopped. 2 days ago I had a small spot of brow discharge nothing since. I've got my 2nd gp appointment 2mo, my tests are still positive, my boobs tender and peeing frequently. I had a MMC in June so hope for the best. Perhaps I'll get a scan referral 2mo 2 check. Are you symptoms still strong? Totally understand how nerve racking it is, Maybe will be the lucky ones where it is common to just spot.

BabyB19 · 22/12/2019 10:15

Morning ladies, is it ok to join? EDD is 26/08/20, I found out last week and have had a whole load of symptoms and test getting stronger as the week goes on. I had one teeny spot of pinkish CM yesterday which panicked me as I had a MMC in June and a CP in September, no other children so this means everything to me! Seeing all your early scan is getting me so excited! Xx

FriedasCarLoad · 22/12/2019 13:32

@Polly1116. I hope you're wrong, and am sorry if you're right Flowers

FriedasCarLoad · 22/12/2019 13:35

@BabyB19. Yay, due the day before me! So glad it's going well for you so far this time, after going through all of that.

BabyB19 · 22/12/2019 14:39

Thank you @FriedasCarLoad 🥰 it's nerve wracking but exciting! Can't even tell you how many tests I've taken waiting for the line to disappear! I may be further along than that because I haven't had a proper cycle since the MMC so it's hard to gauge! How are you feeling so far?

blackpinkinyourarea · 22/12/2019 14:48

@22Ash22 wow! How incredibly exciting for you Smile

I had my private scan yesterday morning, everything is still looking good and it had grown by 4mm since the internal scan 3 days earlier!

MaisieMolly · 23/12/2019 05:47

Welcome and congratulations to the new peeps and sorry to those who are having trouble.

How is everyone doing? I’ve lost some of my symptoms the last couple of days which is quite worrying. It might be because I’ve been busy and not thinking about it as much as when I was sitting at work bored. But 7+1 or 2 and no nausea / sickness, I’m so worried. I keep reading that having nausea means a healthy pregnancy but that implies that if you don’t have nausea then somethings going wrong?! Sad

Girlinglasses · 23/12/2019 08:18

@MaisieMolly I'm 7+4 today and have also noticed a real decrease in my symptoms- still getting the odd wave of nausea and boobs are slightly achy but no where near what they were- it's also making me very nervous!

Anyone else no if this kind of thing can be normal?

CrazyCoonz · 23/12/2019 09:42

I had a private scan yesterday at 7+1 (we lost our first baby in July at 14 weeks, missed miscarriage). I was a total nervous wreck. They had to turn the screens off for me until they knew everything was okay. Good news is baby is looking good, measuring 7+3 which is great, giving me an EDD of the 6th if Aug. Thinking I might book another scan in 2-3 weeks for reassurance. They treated me so much better than the nhs sonographers did.

Feeling totally exhausted despite sleeping loads and boobs really sore!

Anyone due August 2020?
Nellie3 · 23/12/2019 09:59

@maisymolly @girlinglasses I'm 7+6 and yesterday I also noticed a decrease in symptoms. I've been having such bad nausea until yesterday but now it seems to have eased off a bit. I'm feeling worried too as I have a bad experience of this in the past.

The first trimester just feels so strange, especially around Christmas. Fingers crossed for all of us that all will be well and we can relax over the next few days xxx

Nellie3 · 23/12/2019 10:01

Sorry wrong tag, was supposed to be @MaisieMolly x

Polly1116 · 23/12/2019 16:35

I haven’t had any more spotting since yesterday and although I don’t feel as sick as I did I do still feel
Nauseous. I rang my GP this morning who got me referred to the EPU for a scan tomorrow at 12, so at least I’ll know either way by then. I’ll be 7 weeks + 6 days so definitely far enough along to see a heartbeat if there is one. Still haven’t told anyone in my family and even if it’s the worse news tomorrow will wait until after Christmas to let my mum know as I don’t want to upset her when there’s nothing she can do about it x

Jojo19834 · 23/12/2019 16:55

@Nellie3 @Girlinglasses @MaisieMolly I’m similar. My nausea has eased (even though it was minor) so was thinking same as you lot. I’m still insanely tired though and had some cramping today and my boobs felt on fire last night so hopefully symptoms aren’t all or nothing and we can have days off. Have you girls been bad with morning sickness or not? I’ve so far had it very easy so wondering if it is that

Jojo19834 · 23/12/2019 16:56

@Polly1116 hope all goes well and it is just normal for your body. Let us know how you get on but surely your mum would rather know than out her foot in it and not be there for you?

Babykent2019 · 23/12/2019 16:59

@Jojo19834 I've had some slight nausea yesterday morning and this morning when I had breakfast but other than that nothing. My boobs hurt like hell a few days ago and only feel tender now. Feeling a bit worried about this. I've had a headache today and cried @ Christmas with the Kranks 💁‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ so maybe a symptom change?
