Hey! Just wanted to start up a thread because I couldn’t find another one, just got my BFP today after about 6 months of trying. Due date is 1st august! Still feeling nervous as I’ve had 2 miscarriages in the past but both before 6 weeks, so ill be keeping my fingers crossed and wont let myself get too excited until that deadline has passed!

Me! Got my BFP on Saturday, I'm due 3rd August :-)

This is baby #3 for me 😱 but my youngest is nearly four now so I've forgotten everything about pregnancy.

Sorry, pressed send before I had finished. Wanted to also say sorry for your losses, and fingers crossed for you! I had a chemical three months ago, and have been testing every day this time round because I'm scared of it happening again ☹️

@NamiSwan congrats to you too!! How are you feeling about it all? Only symptoms so far have been sore boobs which haven’t gone away, and im knackered, which is why i tested! The last few months ive been going mad testing every day in the lead up to my period, always to be disappointed, so this is the first month ive not tracked my CM or tried to time DTD with ovulation, and i think maybe the stress of all the planning was part of the problem! Do you remember when your symptoms started before?

How old is your oldest? How do they feel about another brother/sister?!

@NamiSwan ive just seen your second message, im so sorry for your loss, its the worst thing isnt it and my gp was not supportive, its made me want to move and be under another one now im pregnant. Ive got my fingers and toes crossed everything will be ok for us both :) - if testing every day helps put your mind at rest then i dont blame you at all!

I found out yesterday and am due 2nd August by my calculations! It’s my first pregnancy and was the first month of trying. I’m nervous, excited and completely over the moon. It’s nice to find people at a similar stage!

@DanielleG96 aww congrats to you too! I know all those feelings too! Im so pleased for you that you’ve got your BFP the first month of trying too :) Have you told your partner yet?

Hello all congratulations on your BFP I found out today and have roughly worked out I'm due the August 4th this will be my first pregnancy.

Thank you! Yes I told him as soon as I knew. We are so happy :) I’ve had nausea and feel exhausted. My boobs are just so sore and I’ve been having light cramps but I’m feeling ok mostly!

Congratulations everyone! I just POAS today (12 dpo and AF due tomorrow but I just couldn't wait any more) and got a very strong BFP!! Been trying for 11 months, and had an early miscarriage in feb so feeling very overwhelmed right now 🙈

I'm due August 7th if everything sticks!

Yes fingers cross for all of us @DanielleG96 !! I have been peeing more than usual and sore boobs. Some light aches in my stomach as well which are different to my usual cramps- any one else having any mild pain?

@Girlinglasses yeah I've been having light cramp type pains for the past few days! I think it's quite normal and from what I've read very common!

@DanielleG96 yeah all of the google searches I've done (7 million) say it's common so trying not to stress!

Hi all! I found out I’m pregnant with my first today and also have a due date of August 2nd.

I am already confused though. What’s a BFP (is it just a positive test or a doctor confirmation?)

I’m still a bit in disbelief as I did two tests earlier last week and got negatives and then yesterday realised I got some dates mixed up. Long story short, I did another pee on a stick at lunchtime that was positive and was so surprised I did two more (two different types as well) and I’m thinking three positive tests are the truth..!

A friend of mine who's pregnant recently had some spotting and cramping and went in to the hospital expecting the worst and found out that not only was everything fine but actually she was expecting twins 😂

@JessManc BFP just stands for big fat positive I think 😂 I also did multiple tests as I was in shock!! Also will be my first baby. My husband still isn't home from work so I am going up the walls here 🙈🙈🙈

Congratulations ladies @DanielleG96 @Araz208 @NamiSwan @Girlinglasses @JessManc. My test only showed 1-2 weeks but I've already had a few days of sickness.

I had a positive test last Saturday and been waiting for this thread to start, I didn't want to get too excited but I find it very hard. It is our first but had a miscarriage about a year ago. I have no symptom whatsoever which make the whole situation very much hard to believe. Very happy to share the next few weeks with you :) I am due 1 August!

@Grainedesesame I am in a very similar situation to you and am trying to not get to excited but it's basically impossible 🙈
