Anyone due July 2020

Hi all,

Anyone due July 2020? Sorry if I've missed a thread, done a quick search and couldn't find one...

DH and I were due to start TTC for #2 in the new year, but haven't been actively not-trying. Well something was just niggling at me over the weekend, I just 'had a feeling' if that makes sense... did an FRER yesterday and there it was! that second pink line...

I'm equal parts excited and batshit scared haha. I've not told DH yet, it's his birthday on Tuesday so going to break it to him then.

@susie12345 congratulations 🥰

LisaxMarie · 10/12/2019 09:17

@susie12345 that’s amazing news. Congrats ❣️

PixieN · 10/12/2019 09:22

@susie12345 lovely news - congrats x

susie12345 · 10/12/2019 09:28

Thank you!
I am slightly worried about the heart shaped uterus - it says there are risks associated with late miscarriage or birth defects :(

Doingitagain37 · 10/12/2019 11:36

@susie12345 . . I have a heart shaped uterus (quite a severe one) and I have one daughter already, when i had my last daughter (10 years ago) I had no idea of the chances of birth defects etc and no one ever mentioned it, the chances are very low so I'm not worrying about it this time round x try not to read too much on it

rosamundos · 10/12/2019 14:20

Hello all - dropped off this thread for a while, but I've just had an early scan (8+1) and they saw a 166bpm heart beat and baby measuring at 8+3.

Had a missed miscarriage last time so I'm nervous as heck but feeling a little more positive now. Fingers crossed for 12 weeks. Good luck to everyone.

Also to anyone struggling to cover up morning sickness at work - I feel your pain puke

Essexgirlupnorth · 10/12/2019 14:53

I'm in Manchester.
Was sick this morning and went back to bed for a nap after dropping my daughter at school.
I two minds about paying for an early scan be reassuring it everything is ok but don't want to tell the family till we have the 12 week scan and everything is ok. Told everyone boxing day last year before I had my scan and then had to tell everyone I had miscarried so don't want a repeat of that though will be suspicious if I am not drinking.

Wayekalb · 10/12/2019 16:13

Just had my online notes updated and I've supposedly got a urine tract infection. Feel fine but said I've not got to have antibiotics 😫 I really didn't want them on top of sickness tablets! Feel like I'm doing no good to body and babies. 😫😫😫

susie12345 · 10/12/2019 16:17

@Doingitagain37 thank you for your message, that is really reassuring to hear :)

Dafs123 · 10/12/2019 19:34

Over the moon after my second scan. Seen baby moving away with a perfect heartbeat. At 7 week scan they put me behind 4 days. But babies caught up by 3 days so only measuring 1 day behind what I originally thought going by last period. First time Iv allowed myself to believe I'll have a baby in July x

@Dafs123 Amazing scan! Much clearer than my 9 week private scan. Pretty sure the private hospital doesn't have the best equipment which is annoying for £150 a scan!!! What's your due date currently? I've got my 10 week scan tomorrow and feeling nervous after the small bleed I had. Consultant wasn't worried but I still have been!

@susie12345 I was told I have a heart shaped uterus and had a hysteroscopy to correct it... came out of surgery to be told it wasn't as bad as it looked on the ultrasound and it didn't need correcting! So I had been worrying for nothing!

@rosamundos Great news about your scan!

@Essexgirlupnorth Sorry you're struggling. Totally understand your anxiety and it's a shame you don't have your scan before Xmas.

@Wayekalb Sorry to hear about the UTI 😢 not treating it would make things worse so antibiotics is the best thing you can do. I know it's a horrible situation but I'm sure it will all be okay.

rosamundos · 10/12/2019 21:20

@Dafs123 I know the worry of behind on dates v well, so good to see your great scan shot Grin

Rainbow2020 · 10/12/2019 21:52

Is anyone due there 12 week scan ? Mines not while New Year's Eve

Kiki275 · 10/12/2019 22:01

@Rainbow2020 I've not even seen my midwife yet Sad x

RedRobin7 · 10/12/2019 22:04

@Rainbow2020 @Kiki275 I haven't seen my midwife yet either! Midwife appointment next Wednesday at 11 weeks and then 12 week scan at 11+6!

Rainbow2020 · 10/12/2019 22:45

@Kiki275 @RedRobin7 oh that's not good thought they had to see u b4 10 weeks.. and my midwife said to me the CAnt scan u any earlier then 12+3 ? Xx

LisaxMarie · 10/12/2019 22:47

I had early scan at 6 weeks, booking app with mw at 7 weeks and got my 12 week scan on 2nd Jan at 11+6. Currently 8+4 x

Ethellsmum · 10/12/2019 22:56

I have my midwife appt next week at 9+5. I can not stay awake today - I fell asleep on the bus, fell asleep at gymnastics, fell asleep in the bath and then fell asleep doing bedtimes! I have an 2000 word assignment due Thursday, I’ve already had to request a 2 week extension because of the tiredness and nausea.

RedRobin7 · 10/12/2019 23:02

@Rainbow2020 I feel they say different things in different parts of the country. There's a lady on another thread having her dating scan at 9 weeks which will be too early to do the measurement but the good thing is they'll have to scan her again! Seems strange they aren't all consistent!

Dafs123 · 11/12/2019 06:45

@RedRobin7 was yours on top of stomach ? At this place they do internal for below 10 weeks as more accurate. Oh my goodness mine was only £50! There's a few scan places around Liverpool so they're quite competitive. I was told at my booking appointment that light bleeding /spotting is completely normal. It's heavy bleeding /clots with a lot of pain is when to worry xx

susie12345 · 11/12/2019 06:51

@RedRobin7 can i please ask why did you have a surgery? Was it due to MC or did they say you needed it? I am being referred to a consultant so will have to see what he says but im worried i will have MC due to the problem with the uterus. I feel like i am given one good news and then bad news again and i cant seem to enjoy the pregnancy which is annoying.

I saw midwife yesterday and she booked me for a dating scan on 8th january where i should be 11weeks+6 days.

I do have another private scan booked for just before christmas as i was going to tell family but am so worried that when i tell people something will go wrong

Kiki275 · 11/12/2019 07:05

@RedRobin7 that's weird!! You'll then end up having two lots of bloods etc in the same week? X

@Rainbow2020 I'll be 9 weeks. Apparently they only do booking ins on a Monday Hmm x

susie12345 · 11/12/2019 07:32

@Doingitagain37 can i please ask if you are seeing a consultant and are they monitoring you more? I dont think i have ever been so worried in my life! Im not worried about me but the worse case scenarios are in my head all the time (what if i miscarry, what if the baby dies inside and i wont know for weeks, what if i have to deliver a baby that died), seriously what is wrong with me!!!

Its so nice to hear you have a child already and are expecting another and the fact you are not worried. How far along are you if you dont mind me asking?

Doingitagain37 · 11/12/2019 08:27

@susie12345 I'm 10 weeks now, last time I was consultant led care and scanned every 4 weeks for growth development etc, they kept quite a good eye on me. Try not to worry. I have a heart shaped womb and my sister has two complete wombs and between us we have three perfectly healthy children x
