Anyone due July 2020

Hi all,

Anyone due July 2020? Sorry if I've missed a thread, done a quick search and couldn't find one...

DH and I were due to start TTC for #2 in the new year, but haven't been actively not-trying. Well something was just niggling at me over the weekend, I just 'had a feeling' if that makes sense... did an FRER yesterday and there it was! that second pink line...

I'm equal parts excited and batshit scared haha. I've not told DH yet, it's his birthday on Tuesday so going to break it to him then.

Oh good thinking! I have my work Christmas doo 300 miles away on 5th December, I’m definitely going to be ill!! 🙈

ArabellaSwan · 31/10/2019 13:22

Hello,
I'm currently 4 weeks 1 day EDD 8th July.

Sooo happy but incredibly nervous as we've had 4 miscarriages so fingers crossed this one sticks.
I've booked my midwife appointment for next Wednesday to get some early scans booked in and hopefully get out 12 week scan before Christmas as I'm going to be 12 weeks Christmas day and would like to finally announce with our scan photo to family.

Congratulations to all

bellebox19 · 31/10/2019 13:45

Hey 🙂,

I'm due on 8th July! (Our wedding anniversary!) 12 weeks on Xmas day.

1st baby and first pregnancy. I have PCOS and it's taken us almost 3 years for this so we are overjoyed and still in disbelief lol x

bellebox19 · 31/10/2019 13:45

OMG three of us due on 8th July!! X

bellebox19 · 31/10/2019 13:47

Wait..5 In fact lol 😂

rhij86 · 31/10/2019 14:06

Wow hello everyone! Lots of us due July, how exciting! I'll try and get a list together of everyones due dates.

@AutumnDazed - welcome to you too! It's so brill that you want to learn as much as possible and be a support for your wife. My husband bought a book when we fell pregnant with our first last year and he said it's honestly the best thing he's read. It's just a total no-nonsense guide to becoming a dad, how things will change for your wife, and you!! And how to support her through the changes during pregnancy and beyond. Let me know if you want me to find the name of it for you.

@rhij86 I would like the name of this!

And hi everyone, I'm due baby number 1 on 1 July, found out on Saturday Smile

bellebox19 · 31/10/2019 14:25

@ArabellaSwan I'm also really hoping I'll get my scan before Xmas day too 😅. We have an early one on the 15th nov just to check everything is ok. I'm very anxious but excited as I can imagine you will be too! x

Bee84 · 31/10/2019 14:37

Congratulations everyone! I took a test this morning and it was positive 🥳 so I’ll be due mid July. It’ll be my 4th - and with 3 girls we’re desperately hoping for a boy this time so please keep all your fingers and toes crossed for x

CL1982 · 31/10/2019 14:57

Hi! Due 8-10 July! Best exciting second baby but a little bit nervous as we had x3 mcs pre my dd...

ArabellaSwan · 31/10/2019 14:58

@bellebox19 fingers crossed we will get a scan before Christmas day! I'm booking an early scan for the 18th Nov and then they want to book me in at 8 and 10 weeks just to check progress.
Yes I'm so anxious but mostly excited this time Grin x

AutumnDazed · 31/10/2019 17:00

@rhij86 Thank you! And yes please, if you could find the name of the book that would be great, thank you so much! My wife is also due 8th July so it’s a very popular date here! This is our first pregnancy and at 36 years old (both of us) we didn’t know if we ever could, after 17 years together, so it’s kind of surreal and unbelievably wonderful at the same time. I’m the sharing type, hence me being on here, whereas she’s the worrier and doesn’t want to get her hopes up too soon by starting to believe this might all be true when there’s a long way to go.

Wish everyone here all the best :)

MrsS147 · 31/10/2019 17:20

@MrsD7 I'm not sure how to tackle my Christmas lunch! I'll be 11+4 and my scan is the week after so not sure whether just to announce it on the day or wait until the scan 🙈

@rhij86 could you put me down as 5 July?

Racoonworld · 31/10/2019 17:29

Is anyone thinking of booking a private scan early on? I’d like to have one to confirm pregnancy is going ok, but not sure what would be better, a 6 weeks viability scan or wait until 7/8 weeks to hopefully hear the heartbeat?

toomuchteaandcake · 31/10/2019 17:44

@Racoonworld I'm in two minds about it too, I think I'm going to wait and see when my scan appointment is and then if it's the full 12 I might go for one between 7-8 weeks

LazyDogFox · 31/10/2019 17:44

I’m 10th July too! :)
Had lots of cramping today and lots of CM. Checking it’s not blood every 20 minutes 🙈

bellebox19 · 31/10/2019 18:30

@ArabellaSwan fingers crossed ! How different Xmas will be this year, I'll just be wishing it was next Christmas the whole time so there's a little person haha. X

@Racoonworld I've booked a viability scan for 6+2 x

Louiseem · 31/10/2019 18:38

Hey everyone, it's my first time posting on this site congratulations to everyone!
Found out today I'm 4 weeks pregnant after trying on the first cycle!
Feeling very lucky and excited but also feeling a bit scared, is this feeling normal?
Were hoping to tell everyone at Christmas too, will be such a lovely present for everyone!

MrsD7 · 31/10/2019 18:46

@Racoonworld @toomuchteaandcake I am having the same dilemma I really want one as feel anxious because we’ve been trying for sooooo long, have found somewhere local that will do it for £80. DH thinks it’s a waste of money 🙄
Am thinking the same as @racoonworld and waiting until I know my scan date.

Does anyone know, will I get all these dates at my booking appointment?

I’m so excited I could burst! Don’t know how I’m going to wait another 6 weeks to tell anyone!!!

What are you all doing about telling people?

Cymrubaby · 31/10/2019 19:14

@Louiseem it was our first try too (it was actually our practice go before our first try) my husband was then abroad! I feel incredibly lucky, but as a result hugely shocked!! I keep thinking something is going to go wrong and am jumping at every twinge!
I filmed my partners reaction it was brilliant 😆 It’s a look of absolute terror on his face 😂
I’d also be really keen to know how dates for scans are given... it would be so lovely to tell everyone at Christmas! It’s just my husband and my boss that knows at the moment my immediate family are away! ☹️

I’m a keen runner and hoping I can keep it up as long as I can, everything I read seems to suggest activities you did before are ok to continue, my period was due tomorrow/Saturday and am nervous for that now for some reason 😰 honestly It’s been the longest week!! 😅

toomuchteaandcake · 31/10/2019 19:27

@Cymrubaby our trial cycle too! Oops 😂 I'm still running and going to the gym, feel like the stronger my body is the better and now is there time to build muscle while I still can

Louiseem · 31/10/2019 19:30

Congratulations!!
Yeah i was always so worried I'd struggle to get pregnant! I feel very lucky!
I called my GP earlier and they redirected me to a website to self refer myself to the midwifes so hoping to hear soon, but really unsure how it work, there's some girls at my work pregnant but I can't ask them as don't want to tell anyone at this stage! I'd really love a scan before Christmas so we could tell everyone!
I'm very active too! I go to the gym 5 times a week so hoping I'll be able to keep up a routine for as long as possible!

I feel quite anxious too but I've seen a few threads on here and that seems to be quite normal!

Cymrubaby · 31/10/2019 19:42

Oh that’s brilliant 🙌🏽
Thanks girls, that’s such a relief about exercising too I’m so grouchy if I don’t go and tomorrow is my long run day 🏃🏽‍♀️ I won’t be trying for any PB’s though!
Belly significantly more bloated today and Aunt Flo type cramping is definitely there on and off 😣 definitely going to be a long couple of months to the 12 week mark!!! 😅 xx

Louiseem · 31/10/2019 19:45

Also could anyone help me with some advice,
I'm booked to go to ibiza on my friends hen do at the end of April and now thinking I probably won't be wanting to go. The girls keep asking about booking things (flights and hotel are already booked) I'm not sure what to do as don't really want to tell anyone I'm pregnant yet but how can I say I can't go!?
