Hi all,

Anyone due July 2020? Sorry if I've missed a thread, done a quick search and couldn't find one...

DH and I were due to start TTC for #2 in the new year, but haven't been actively not-trying. Well something was just niggling at me over the weekend, I just 'had a feeling' if that makes sense... did an FRER yesterday and there it was! that second pink line...

I'm equal parts excited and batshit scared haha. I've not told DH yet, it's his birthday on Tuesday so going to break it to him then.

Dating scan isn't until 9th Jan. Bit disappointed as I'll be nearly 13.5 weeks by then. Was hoping it would be earlier :(

@Kiki275 yeah I had the full debrief but they didn't help at all. I'll speak to her

Thund4rcat · 06/12/2019 14:32

I wondered why the July 2020 thread I was on was so quiet... Everyone is in this one instead!

I am due 12 July 2020 after my third IVF transfer. Previous transfer resulted in a missed miscarriage at 8.5 weeks which I'm at now so am very anxious.

Also both pregnancies I've had hyperemesis and been hospitalised multiple times. I'm now taking 16 doses of medication per day to control it and to support the IVF pregnancy. Down to being sick twice a day but feeling sick 90% of the time, and totally bedridden.

For the short time periods that I don't feel sick (10 minutes here and there) I worry I've lost the baby because when I had my MMC I started feeling better as soon as it had happened, before I found out.

Basically I am having a horrible time.

Sorry for the rant!

Doingitagain37 · 06/12/2019 16:57

Has anyone suffered from excruciating pain at all, I had it on thursday and it lasted a couple of hours, still feel sore now. I'm not talking sharp quick pains, these were awful, I couldn't move and nearly passed out. Haven't been to the epu yet as terrified. No bleed or anything. Bicornuate uterus

OlivejuiceU2 · 06/12/2019 18:46

I haven’t @Doingitagain37 worth getting checked out. Probably nothing to worry about but I’d leave something like that to the experts

RedRobin7 · 06/12/2019 20:04

@Thund4rcat Sorry you are struggling. Totally understand about the anxiety that pregnancy after loss causes. I worry about absolutely everything now... am I sneezing too much and too hard, will it hurt the baby... I've cut my finger, what if it gets infected... I've got a bite on my leg, what if that gets infected... actually feel like I'm going to go crazy! Had some bleeding this week so I went for a scan and baby was fine but two days on I'm worried again!

I think this thread was originally on the pregnancy board but was moved to ante-natal recently.

RedRobin7 · 06/12/2019 20:05

@Doingitagain37 Definitely get checked. Phone 111 if you're worried.

Kiki275 · 06/12/2019 20:18

@Thund4rcat there are at least 3 threads for July, so I signed onto them all! Sounds like you're having a really rough time, I hope things ease up after the 1st trimester is over x

Doingitagain37 · 06/12/2019 23:16

Thanks ladies, I think I'll head to the epu tuesday when I can next get there, I cant get any time off work. It's all subsided now but sore still

Dafs123 · 07/12/2019 16:35

Almost 9 weeks and feeling like an absolute 🐳 getting ready for works night out. Anyone else struggling with clothes already? X

PixieN · 07/12/2019 17:06

Yes! @Dafs123 I’m craving carbs, feel nauseous if I don’t eat and have put on a fair few pounds already at only 10 weeks. I’m avoiding trousers and wearing dresses that skim over (I hope!) the bump/bloat x

LisaxMarie · 07/12/2019 17:43

Yes really struggling with jeans already I think because of the bloat 🤦‍♀️ I actually went and bought a pair of maternity jeans yesterday 😂 they hang off me but they are so comfy! Mothercare have got 50% off maternity wear atm ladies

misselphaba · 07/12/2019 17:53

Yep, I look horrendous in everything due to a steady diet of carbs and little to no veg as can only stomach peas!

I am also heavier beginning this pregnancy than I was the day I have birth to DD so there's also that! I'm going to be huge this time.

peanutfoldover · 07/12/2019 19:51

@misselphaba me too (re. Weight now being the same as full term pregnant last time!) and I’m only 7w3d!!

I’m feeling nauseous pretty much all the time. Drinking ginger beer, eating beige food. But feeling reassured this means I’m definitely still pregnant at the moment.

misselphaba · 07/12/2019 20:29

@peanutfoldover it's crazy isn't it. Did you have many symptoms with your previous pregnancy? I had none. Apart from the obvious (no periods and an ever growing bump).

OlivejuiceU2 · 07/12/2019 20:56

Glad to hear that it’s not just me wanting to eat pizza all the time! I’d normally eat loads of fruit and veg but really struggling to get anything healthy down me. I’ve actually lost a couple of pounds (no idea how) but so bloated I look very pregnant. My sickness seems to be worse at night and I’ve only thrown up once a few days ago (guess I should be glad of that), I take it is normal?

How is everyone else doing?

peanutfoldover · 07/12/2019 21:04

@misselphaba I had a couple of days of mild nausea, but other than that pregnancy was dead easy last time! I even had a small, neat bump!

5 years older now though and knocking 40!

Kiki275 · 07/12/2019 21:11

@peanutfoldover & @misselphaba can I join you in the carb loving this time around. I had few to no symptoms in early pregnancy last time. Apart from a few days of nausea and bloating (and a totally justified foul mood & meltdown) I'm not really suffering this time. I'm a life long weight watcher and pregnancy is literally like a free pass to eat anything. I'll be massive come July.x

RedRobin7 · 07/12/2019 21:19

I'm on the carbs train too: I'm loving pizza, pasta and anything tomato based at the moment! Some foods just make me feel sick and I've really gone off spinach which is random. I've definitely gained a few pounds and look very bloated! I've not been sick yet so I guess I'm considered lucky but it does make me panic more.

I'm on metformin so I wonder if that is helping with the symptoms side of things to. Coming off it at 12 weeks so I'm worried the symptoms will hit me in one go including migraines and acne. Anyone else on it?

AutumnDazed · 07/12/2019 21:39

After a tough week where my wife’s symptoms had almost all disappeared we went for a scan this afternoon and everything looks wonderful! We are 9+4 instead of the 9+1 we had assumed (not sure how significant that change is but hey ho). Little one looked amazing, and even as a useless man who can never usually make out anything from any ultrasound, I could see them so clearly. Their little heartbeat was amazing! Long way to go yet, but that was a massive boost for sure. Anyway, wishing you all the best with your own and thanks again from both me and the wife for sharing your stories here and helping guide us through our first pregnancy.

Essexgirlupnorth · 07/12/2019 22:10

Hi ladies can I join due 24th July pregnancy number three should be baby number 2 had a missed miscarriage in January so extra nervous this time round especially as I got pregnant same month as last time but a couple of weeks behind.
Have sore boobs, feeling tired and unwell but can't tell if it the cold I can't shift or early pregnancy.
Got my booking appointment through for Christmas eve was hoping they might offer me an early scan but looks like not but now I know you can just turn up at the epu if I have any bleeding this time will be there getting checked out.

susie12345 · 07/12/2019 22:19

I am also craving pizza, pasta and anything tomato based. Have a tomato soup for lunch or a snack almost every day. Already planning to have a pizza for lunch tomorrow :) im dreading the weight gain in those 9 months lol.

I wanted to ask a question - i have the scan on tuesday (im really scared it will be bad news but really hoping all is well), anyway it is through NHS so im not sure if they can give me a scan picture? I should be 7 weeks when they do the scan.
Does anyone know if i can ask for a picture or will they only give it to me at the 12 week dating scan???

LisaxMarie · 07/12/2019 22:37

@susie12345 I had an early scan at 6 weeks and got given 3 scan photos. Even got to see the teeny tiny heart beat

susie12345 · 07/12/2019 22:40

@LisaxMarie hi was it a private scan or through NHS??

LisaxMarie · 07/12/2019 22:52

It’s was through nhs due to previous ectopic x

Bibinka · 07/12/2019 23:55

@AutumnDazed Great news guys! Anxiously awaiting my first scan. Haven't got a date yet for the 12 week one so will try and book an earlier one if I can't get one before the 24th of December.
