Bit cheeky as my due date is May 30th, hope no one minds. Blush

The May group seems quite established. I've been slow to come to back to the Mumsnet fold, did not expect to fall first month trying.

Really excited to hear about all your lovely BFP's and share our pregnancy journeys. Smile

Got my BFP today. Expecting my 2nd. DS was a May '18 baby.

It is so heartbreaking how many losses we have had on here recently, I am so so so sorry to you all.

Shitting myself for our 12 week scan, even though all looked okay at 9 weeks.

@Nukins - just DM me over here on MN - you can get to your inbox by clicking onto your "My Mumsnet" part

Nukins · 26/11/2019 09:54

Thank you @Rinoa @Twittlebee I'm a bit rubbish ha! Xx

Nukins · 26/11/2019 09:56

I still can't work it out 🤦‍♀️xx

marmitecheesetoast · 26/11/2019 10:46

So sorry to hear of the losses, must be heartbreaking.

Had my booking in appointment this morning, all went well. The one thing that came up that I wasn’t expecting was that apparently my DD was classed as low birth weight for being 2 weeks overdue (she was 6lb 15oz? No one mentioned that being small at the time I don’t think?!) anyway it means they want to do some extra growth scans this time to make sure baby is growing well. I guess a few extra scans isn’t too bad though!

Also got my scan appt for 12th December which I’m pleased about as it’s closer than I was expecting! Smile

MilsCookie · 26/11/2019 11:27

Thank you all. Life can be really really shit sometimes, but hey ho. Hoping you all have a wonderful pregnancy and hopefully myself and the others who have lost will be able to join another ante-natal group in the near future 😊🌈 xxx

Twittlebee · 26/11/2019 11:29

@Nukins - I got your DM and replied, you should have the FB invite via that email now Smile

@MilsCookie - I am so sorry how shit life can be. I am wishing you all the best for the future. Sending love and strength x

AttenburyEmeralds · 26/11/2019 15:47

@MilsCookie I am so sorry for your loss xx

Got another week to wait for my 12w scan here, kind of bricking it. Also feel a bit like I cba with Christmas and it is already looming! I'd just like to go to bed for a month 😂

MilsCookie · 26/11/2019 15:50

Thank you @TwittleBee and @AttenburyEmeralds 😘

Nukins · 27/11/2019 13:42

@MilsCookie lots of love to you 😘 xxxx

MissisBee · 29/11/2019 14:16

Hi, hope everyone's ok. It's all gone a bit quiet. I'm fed up feeling sick, scan a week today. Not much else to report.

LillianFullStop · 29/11/2019 21:07

Hope it eases up for you @MissisBee - mine has now at 13w. I still get nausea from strong smells and particular aversions this pregnancy (ONIONS omg it can turn me off an entire meal) but nowhere near as bad and I haven't thrown up at all.

My 12 week screening results came back as low risk which is a big relief as I will be almost 41 by my due date.

amymel2016 · 29/11/2019 21:08

@TwittleBee hello, I’m due on the 5th June and wondered if I could join the FB group please? Xx

Notnowokay · 29/11/2019 21:31

@MissisBee, all is good here. I was just suprised today to be told they don't do the 16 weeks midwife appointment and if I want a check up I could go to my gp. This is a new hospital that I'm attending and I asked a receptionist when I should expect my 16 weeks midwife appointment to come through. Weird, is this a new cost cutting measure? I have had them before with my previous pregnancies but I don't remember a particular new thing happening then.

@LillianFullStop congratulations on the low risk results.

BabyBird20 · 29/11/2019 22:03

@MissisBee my scan date is a week today too! The longest wait of my life it seems but nearly over! When is your due date? My nausea seemed to go a bit last week (so I just panicked things were going wrong) but came back again this week!! Definitely fatter now, but probably more to do with food than a baby bump! 😂😂

BabyBird20 · 29/11/2019 22:28

@Notnowokay I was told they only do 16wk ones with first or high risk pregnancy in my area. I guess it's more cut cutting thanks to the underfunding 😬😬

Notnowokay · 30/11/2019 11:45

@BabyBird20, but I am high risk Confused I really don't like that label. I guess I should be happy they not cutting my diabetes appointments.

Chaosonthehorizon · 01/12/2019 19:24

Been absolutely knackered all week! Suffering memory loss as I thought that all went after 12 wks but friends have assured me that it was 16 wks for them 😱. Cannot remember feeling this tired but then again..there are two in there!!

MissisBee · 01/12/2019 21:02

I've been beyond tired today too. Think I'm also coming down with whatever toddler plague DS has had.

Chaosonthehorizon · 02/12/2019 10:28

I wonder whether mine was some sort of virus too as some other mums have been feeling the same

AttenburyEmeralds · 03/12/2019 12:27

12w scan today and it's ok 💛 hugely relieved.

@Notnowokay where I lived before they alternated midwife and gp? They did give me a schedule of which to book but it was a pita as neither seemed to work more than a day a week (I think the mw was covering several rural surgeries, not sure why I had to see a particular gp but they insisted)

marmitecheesetoast · 03/12/2019 14:04

Congratulations @AttenburyEmeralds must be such a weight off.

Just over a week til mine now, still feels like a lifetime away when worrying if all ok

LillianFullStop · 03/12/2019 16:51

Congrats @AttenburyEmeralds!

So happy to see the 12w scans coming through - won't be long until we're onto the 20w scans and we can run a tally of Team Blue/Pink/Yellow! I'll definitely want to find out - I looked into the blood test option but it's part of the Harmony Test which is about £500.

Lemonysherbet · 03/12/2019 18:35

Oh that's great news @AttenburyEmeralds 😁

@LillianFullStop I've only got 5 weeks until my 20 week scan! It's flying now I've had the 12 week scan

Sunshine8920 · 03/12/2019 21:55

Eek I have 12 week scan tomorrow too!!
Feeling odd it still hasn't sunk quite sunk in.

Whilst I'm here... I'm a bit worried as I've just read
on the back of my pregnacare tablets that you can't take them if your on anti coagulants and I have been taking them for the last 3 months whilst on my anti coagulants!!
Does anyone know why you can't?

xxxxx

LillianFullStop · 04/12/2019 11:39

Wow @Lemonysherbet that's so exciting then you will be halfway! I still have 7 weeks to go but I'm hoping it will fly by over the Christmas period.

Good luck for tomorrow @Sunshine8920 ! I'm not sure about anticoagulants I'm afraid but maybe GP can help?
