Bit cheeky as my due date is May 30th, hope no one minds.

The May group seems quite established. I've been slow to come to back to the Mumsnet fold, did not expect to fall first month trying.

Really excited to hear about all your lovely BFP's and share our pregnancy journeys.

Got my BFP today. Expecting my 2nd. DS was a May '18 baby.

I haven’t had my booking appointment yet so I don’t have a midwife etc, we paid for a private scan two weeks ago. I rang the EPU at our local hospital and they are going to ring me back. The cramps are getting stronger, they woke me up last night 😞. I think I’m going to need another scan to put our minds at ease, my husband is especially worried, and nothing phases him normally.

Congrats on baby boy @TwittleBee! That's so amazing they can tell from a blood test. I will definitely be finding out at my 20w scan.

@RainMinusBow don't feel bad at all it's nice to buy a little token gift to celebrate the 12w milestone! It's not like you've gone and bought a cot or a pram!

I went for my scan today and was so lovely to see a wriggly little baby on the screen - it is feeling so real now!

@Alltheseacronyms - no rush to join, I'll keep it open to those on this thread as I get everyone will be comfortable to join at different times.

I should have replied to everyone who DMed and sent invites via emails to those people now too.

@Legendsonly - how are you doing now? It is such a worry, not sure it ever completely eases up

Hey all! Sorry I haven’t posted in a loooong time. I’m finding it hard to keep up! I am currently travelling and having my 12 week scan on Monday, but in Vietnam! I had a scan at 8 weeks in India and it was a terrible scan so I’m slightly worried...but hopefully this one will be better. Ive also been having quite strong cramps this week and lower back ache- it feels just like period pain! Trying not to worry because apparently it’s normal but can’t help myself 😕.

@TwittleBee - I would love to join the MN only fb group if that’s ok? I’m in the other one but never look at it because it’s impossible to follow! Would love to be part of a smaller group 😊

Regarding those cramps, they are anxiety inducing arent they - but they really are normal, it is where your body is producing the hormone relaxin and starting to stretch etc. braxton hicks also make me worry because I am always on edge in case they suddenly turn into the real thing too!

Afternoon. Good to hear from you @MilsCookie. Hope the scan goes well on Monday. I've been having a fair bit of cramping the past few days - feels like everything is stretching

Thanks for all your well wishes, unfortunately it’s not good news. Both babies stopped growing two weeks ago, there were no heartbeats today. So that’s it, now I wait for the miscarriage. Pretty devastated as is hubby, but we’ll be ok, we have our daughter to focus on 💕

@TwittleBee thanks for setting up another FB group. I'm not ready to join yet although my 12w scan is booked now, one more week to wait! The one I joined with DC1 has been invaluable so I would appreciate another shot at making friends for the 2am feedings

Hi all. Just went for my 12 week scan and saw the baby but sadly there was no heartbeat. It stopped growing two weeks ago. We are heartbroken but it obviously just wasn’t meant to be this time. Now I just have to wait for the miscarriage to happen. Wishing you all healthy pregnancies 💐 xxx
